I love Trader Joe's! There unique exclusive stuff they sell are what keeps me drawn. We love their dried freeze fruits they sell, a healthy option for snacks for my kids, we love a lot of their snacks actually, their mungbean crackers, their snap crispy peas and okras, they even sell Japanese sweeet potatoes that I am obsessed with. My favorite salad is the broccoli slaw with the spicy Thai dressing, and I also love their frozen orange chicken and their garlic noodles. A lot of exclusive items! Service has always been super good, everyone is friendly and patient. The place is overall clean, I just wish the parking lot was bigger, sometimes hard to find parking. Always love coming to Trader Joe's, no matter what city I'm in. I love their unique and fun items. They have many seasonal items that, if you see, you better purchase because you don't know exactly when they'll be gone! Customer service is great. They are usually friendly, helpful, and quick. The lines are always busy but the staff gets you moving as quick as possible. I also appreciate the customer service desk. If you are looking for a particular item, you can ask them and they can tell you if/when the item will be in stock. They also help me with this if I call in before I make a trip over. Last time I went, Kate checked us out and provided great service! The only things I dislike about Trader Joe's is the discontinuation of great items (sometimes seasonal sometimes not), as well as the size of this store. This is a smaller store and it's very hard to navigate, even if you go early, as it's crowded. Many people lack awareness of others, and leave their carts in the middle of the aisles, forget their manners (excuse me-pretty basic) etc. and it can be challenging to get through the store and get what you need. Trader joe's is always our favorite store to buy all our food and essentials, but this one time the guy who was outside with the shopping cart full of the halloween tote bags on October 18, 2025 morning shift around 10am, you were extremely rude and awful! The worst TJ worker I have ever encountered shopping at TJ for over 20 years now! I didn't catch his name but if a manager ends up reading this, please match the time stamp and have a chat with your employee as he was extremely rude, UNFRIENDLY, this is definitely NOT a TJ employee, if you don't like your job, please there are tons of people who are more deserving of your position and are wanting to apply for your position so please leave! My baby and I were shocked there were any left so we kindly giggled and said wow these are still available with no fights and lines? He didn't say anything and had the meanest look and attitude! Sour face for sure! I said oh limit 8, can I mix and match colors and before I could even finish my sentence he interrupted saying "nope nope nope 1 of each color only!" He seemed awfully annoyed he has to be the babysitter to pass out these totes. The music selection is perfect and makes you feel welcomed, to the previous reviewer Jason, ska music is not a for everyone genre, country music is widely known across the community and is easy listening. Also leaving a review of 1 stars due to you not liking the music doesn't give a useful representation of a grocery store. You're like the person who leaves a bad review at a restaurant because you didn't like the cheeseburger at a Mexican restaurant. I came in here today and sure as hell, they're playing country music again!! I winced and tried to get my shopping done quickly while some low iq idiot twang twang twanged his way through some damn song about a pick-up truck and whiskey shots. I just can't relate to this garbage. At the register I asked them who was the loser who kept playing country music here and they said it was their Manager Shane. They said most of the staff hates it but they have to knuckle through their workdays because of this knucklehead. Listen Shane, your taste in music is not so good for this area. This is not a small town filled with whiskey drinking white folks and pickups, it's a diverse city of 300k with multiple universities. I grew up around this area and know for a fact it's an alternative and ska town. Every 50 year old here grew up listening to KROQ, going to Club Metro, and smoking clove cigarettes. They know all the words to Depeche Mode's Violator by heart. Their kids work in this store and they're a lot cooler than this. Stop torturing them with your bad taste. Stop torturing your customers with this ear rape. Nobody listens to honkytonk ho-down music over their charcuterie around here, okay? Nobody warms up their vegetable biryani, pours a nice glass of cabernet and cranks the Kenny Rodgers. Read your customer-base, Shane. Go back to Bakersfield with that crap. read more

Trader Joe's has been one of my favorite places since I arrived to America, even though it has changed over time, making it less sophisticated and more like any other supermarket. Access here is easy, there's plenty of parking even during the holidays. The store can be overcrowded but its parking lot isn't. The store is neat , well maintained. The food quality is great, love the way they pack their veggies and the section of frozen meals is fantastic. The service of their staff is excellent, I lost count of the times the interaction with a cashier made me smile after a hard day. Definitely coming here doesn't feel much of a chore. read more

Before I forget his name, SHOUT OUT to Luke at this TJ location in Riverside!! Great attitude and energy at the register this afternoon. He made my day!! I also found the highly sought-after Brazil Nut Body Oil I've been trying to find. When stuff goes viral, I sometimes buy into it, and this item is one of them! I found a few left on the shelf and had to grab 3. One for myself and the other 2 for my sister in Hawaii. We weren't successful looking for it in AZ. =( This Trader Joe's isn't one of their bigger locations, but you'll find the same great products they are known for. The three stars are only for the flowers and food sold at Trader Joe's. This location itself is terrible. The parking lot always feels so cramped. And the store itself feels like the size of a shoe box. The ambiance is rushed and like you're an inconvenience to the people who shop there. I usually love Trader Joe's, and I didn't mind waiting a few minutes for this location to open at their regular time. However, my experience this morning was pretty disappointing. An employee named Jakob was cleaning the front area before opening, and while I understand that's part of the job, the way he asked us to move so he could use the leaf blower came off as careless. Not exactly rude, but definitely not thoughtful either. I even got a face full of dust, which was really unpleasant. To make matters worse, he was wearing AirPods the whole time, which just looked unprofessional and added to the sense that he wasn't really present or aware of how his actions were affecting people around him. I usually have great experiences at TJ's, but this wasn't one of them. Hoping it was just an off day, but a little more courtesy and awareness would go a long way. read more

The sweet tooth goes into overdrive on October 31st and doesn't let up till the new year. Fall has made it's presence known. With blankets of pumpkins slowly replaced by Christmas trees popping up like popcorn. A slow start till it's full blown. Discovered some new seasonal items egg nog is back, the rosemary mix looks so tempting and salted maple ice cream pint. All of these flavors made my mouth water. Which reminds me.. I need to avoid going grocery shopping when I'm hungry. read more

I was able to find everything on the list at a good price as well as good parking however checkout was another story. The girl at the register Gabriella was extremely rude and and disrespectful. She was offended that I did not want a bag and threw most of our items back in the cart with no care if there was food damage. The associate working with her was also annoyed that she was called to bag and I was not bagging items and left mumbling under her breath. The place is packed with customers but still have a good space to go around. Everything is very organized. I was able to get my favorites and quickly get out. I avoided this place because it is always busy and the parking is packed. But what can I do when this is the only place where I can get my chocolate chip cookie dunkers and salted caramel flavored hot cocoa? Deal with the traffic or find another Trader Joe's which is also in the same situation! This means I'm stuck with this situation but I am sure my food is always fresh and on stock. I had the loveliest experience here last night... Sujin was my cashier -- she was admiring my butterfly tattoos on my arm, the latest of which I got in remembrance of my daughter, who passed away a year ago at age 34 after taking her own life. I was explaining that the semi-colon (as the body of one of my butterfly tattoos) is the symbol for suicide awareness. She then went and did something so lovely (that I won't say here in case it was against rules or precedence) it brought tears to my eyes. You don't always expect someone so young to show such heartfelt empathy, but she did -- and she expressed it in such a way I shall never forget. She went above and beyond. I have been shopping at this location for years. However, the last few times I have been there the cashiers have had an attitude and were rude. The last time at this location the cashier made a comment that we were being "clever" to another employee because my husband and I checked out separately so we could each buy 2 of their small insulated bags since there was a 2 per customer limit. I'm not sure what is "clever" about trying to follow the rules of the store! This Trader Joe's is one of my faves: The cashiers ALWAYS make it a point to engage in a friendly chat rather than trying to rush you out of the line. Additionally, once the lines are even remotely long additional lanes are quickly opened to cut down the wait. This particular location can get pretty hectic during evenings and weekend's but friendly cashiers and a wide range of organic foods at great prices more than make up for it. read more

He also looked up an item that I was searching for, I was sad to find out this product is now seasonal (Brioche Toast), but it will save me a trip between this and Redlands location. Thank you Timmy!
