I recently got into running a bit more seriously and have been in the market for a new pair of…read morerunning shoes. I have been struggling with a few foot pains, so I wanted to make sure the money I was dropping was going to be well worth it, so after a bit of research, Fleet Feet was the place I ended up. This Fleet Feet location sits inside of The Streets of Indian Lake in Hendersonville and is a well stocked, clean and welcoming spot for all your running needs and wants. This was my first visit to a Fleet Feet, and after sharing what I was after, Logan, who was the Specialist who assisted me, walked me through their process, which started with a full foot scan. Based on this scan, the system recommends different shoes and wildly enough, the shoes it recommended were the ones I had been scoping online based on my foot issues. Logan pulled a few pair of shoes, let me try them on, walk around, even go outside. He also educated me on the feel of each, plus pulled a few options of insoles that would best support my feet. The process was comprehensive and factual without being overwhelming, pushy or timely. I ended up walking out with a new pair of Asics and nice insoles, running me around $250 out the door. Expensive in general, yup...but these prices are standard and I feel the value was a bit more there considering the process. Overall, I will certainly be back to this location. Big shout out to Logan who made this purchase wonderful!

Best running store experience I've ever had. I walked in and the man at the front -- I forget his…read morename, I'm pretty sure he's the owner -- immediately told me I needed shoes with more stability. He found me multiple pairs of shoes that fit more comfortably than anything I've gotten from Fleet Feet/runners roost etc, and was very receptive to my preference for more feminine colors, which is usually dismissed as I have large feet for a woman. The staff overall was incredibly friendly and funny, and they threw in a pair of complementary socks. They gained a lifelong customer.

Since I decided to pick up running as a hobby of mine to better myself mentally and physically - I wanted to stop by and see if I could get further assistance on running shoes in general. The store offers a selection of running shoes and gear, catering to all level of runners. From beginners (like me) to seasonal athletes. I was pleased to see the variety of brands and styles available, however slightly overwhelmed to find the right pair of shoes. After talking to the owners and a casual conversation as to my personal goals and why I was visiting, they made sure to take their time and test a few sneakers out to see which ones I liked. Needless to say, I'm happy to recommend Team Nashville if you were looking for a in-person store for some guidance and sneakers in general! Value seems reasonable, I asked if they have any discounts in general but I don't think they said they do (worth a shot I guess?) I forget what her name was, but they also made wrote down a beginners running schedule/guide for me and how I could approach a running schedule that balances everything else I have going on.

I was in need of new running shoes after completing my half marathon as a "gift/reward" to myself…read more Note that I'm no runner nor would I consider myself to be one. However, after doing a brief research of nearby places to visit to get advice and pointers on shoes - Fleet Feet was the place I ended up deciding on visiting. I guess it was my high expectations based off of reviews of others, but my visit wasn't all that "amazing/great." I felt like the person that "helped" me during my scheduled visit didn't really help much. I was looking for more of a conversation between the employee so that I can make a more informed decision. By the end of it I walked away with a new pair of shoes that I've been testing for roughly a week and a half, and honestly I'm not moved by it. I felt like my decision was rushed and that no real feedback or guidance was provided. I also wouldn't consider myself as a hard or complicated customer/client - I just asked questions but felt like I was pulling teeth. Because of this, I'll have to revisit for a return and look for an exchange. Felt like my time was wasted but maybe it's just me?

And unlike Dick's where you'll wait for 20 minutes for an employee to even acknowledge your presence, you're immediately helped at Fleet Feet! This is such a better experience than a mega sports store! Despite being tucked away at the back of a strip mall, the secret is out because the store is always bustling with shoppers. And we were shocked that they carry our favorite Advocare products including almost every flavor of Spark in both canisters and packets! We haven't seen any other stores selling this product. If we ever run out of Spark at home, we know where to go!

I love the insight fleet feet gives you on your step, how you walk, your arch height, etc. and how they suggest shoes based on these things. It is not cheap but Ive always considered it worth the money. I was a consistent customer for years and always visited this fleet feet for new shoes either by myself or with my mom as she is also a return customer. But about a year ago I had a defective shoe and when I brought it up there for a replacement or exchange (they have a 60 day return policy) I was NOT treated nicely. She made me feel like I was doing something very wrong and she was extremely rude. She (the manager of the store) didn't care about my previous concerns with how shoes used to fit and caused my toes to be crowded and she rushed me out of the store with a replacement shoe that was not wide enough and did not help my issues. After wearing those shoes for a week or so I realized they were causing my toes to crowd even more and my smallest toe was curling under my other toes causing me to walk on it. Because she had made me feel so bad about my previous exchange, I just gave those shoes away and bought new shoes online off the Brooks website. I have not returned to Fleet Feet since. I've just bought directly from the supplier. If you don't want people to utilize the return policy, don't offer it. I would consider visiting another fleet feet in the future but it won't be this one.

Juliet to try a restaurant I'd seen on TikTok, so I drove the extra 20 minutes to this location. Annie came right up to help me out when I entered the store. We started with a foot scan, and she walked me through what all the measurements meant. After discussing what I was looking for (walking shoes) and describing issues I've had with shoes in the past (heel pain, not enough support), she started the process of pulling shoes for me. Without her expertise, I never would have pulled shoes in a size 10.5--a full size larger than I typically wear!--and wouldn't have tried any/most of the styles she selected. She was super patient and helped me try on at least 10 different pairs of shoes so I could compare them, and when I waffled about whether I liked the color of the shoes I'd landed on, she brought out the other color available and let me walk around in both to make sure I was comfortable with my decision. Then she helped me pick out insoles that would make the shoes I picked even more supportive; I think we went through 5 or six of those to find the right ones. Given the cost of the shoes they sell, this is the level of service I would've hoped for but honestly didn't expect to receive. The store was busy from the time I arrived to the time I left (almost an hour later), but Annie didn't pressure me into buying shoes or insoles and the store was well-staffed enough to ensure that other customers had associates helping them, too. I felt comfortable with the choices Annie helped me make and left the store with a pair of shoes that I can't wait to wear in. I would definitely recommend this location to someone who knows nothing about their feet and biomechanics but wants more comfortable shoes, and I imagine they would be just as great for seasoned athletes looking to pick up their next pair of runners.
