This place looks like the place to go in Nashville if you're into outdoor activities. All the brand names you would expect to find here related to each field of play (hiking, biking, mountain climbing, etc) Knowledgeable staff and a large display floor that is well organized and just has an overall clean feel to everything. Prices are in line with any other stores that carry these brands. If you're in the area it's totally worth stopping in here.

    Bike repair!! $20

This place is as good as it gets. Located right in the city, it is a prime location for travelers, students, and local residents to take advantage of their bike sales, athletic/outdoor gear, and repair shop. My poor bike had a bad tire, and it was fixed for a little under $25 in less that 20 minutes. I was amazed at the friendly, quick, and knowledgeable service. I am not a pro biker at any means, but I did not feel uncomfortable in this store! There's three different counters, I suggest just walking in and telling a worker what you are looking for, they will surely point you in the right direction! I will be back, hopefully not too soon as they fixed my bike up, but maybe for some clothing instead (:.

Then they told me they couldn't do that either because the shoes were dirty. I was told that they needed to "be in pristine condition to return them." However, she had only worn them inside their store for 20 minutes while trying them on. So apparently you can't try on any shoes there because the store is dirty enough to make them used and void any possible return. Don't buy anything here. The sales team isn't train well enough to help you find shoes that will fit, everything is overpriced and the return policy is horrendous. I dont particularly want to buy from China, but if this store and Cbina were my only two options I would buy from China. Lots of shade, but we stayed on the water quite a while and ended up out in the heat and sun of midday. We did not all prepare for this and are paying for that. Overall, it was a lovely float with some areas with added challenge (rocks, submerged trees, shallows) to navigate. There are quite a few rocky shore areas where you can pull up the kayaks for a break or snack. Speaking of, we brought water, but failed to bring any food. It would have been nice to have something even though we planned to eat after. The exit from the river is a bit rough, but the young men helping were wonderful. We got 3 single kayaks, and 3 upgraded single kayaks. We definitely felt the upgrade was worth it for stability, more room for heavy people, adjustable footrests, and adjustable back rest. We had a great time and definitely intend to go back again.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!…read more This was hands down the most disorganized kayak rental experience I've ever had. Our reservation was for 12:00 PM. We were running about 10 minutes behind, so we called ahead, let them know, and even paid before arriving. After getting there, we waited nearly 30 minutes for transportation to the drop-off point. The woman at the office was nice and apologized, so we brushed it off. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning. When we arrived at the river, everything fell apart. An older gentleman and two teenagers were unloading kayaks, but nobody gave any instructions or directed customers. We stood waiting for another 15+ minutes while they unloaded equipment and chatted. When we finally asked what was going on, they realized they didn't even have enough kayaks or paddles for our group. We were told more kayaks were "already on the way." Meanwhile, we watched other customers launch themselves because nobody was helping them get into the water. There was another group with a 12:30 reservation sitting there with kayaks available, but instead of getting us on the river, we continued waiting. At around 1:35 PM, I called the office and was told it would be another 30-45 minutes. By then we were beyond frustrated. A manager eventually got involved, but instead of apologizing, she seemed irritated that we were upset. After more waiting and more promises that kayaks were "almost there," transportation finally returned around 2:15 PM with additional kayaks. Remember, our reservation was for noon. We had already spent over two hours waiting. The best part of the day was actually being on the river. The river itself was enjoyable, and once we finally got in the water, we had a good time. Then came the ending. When we reached the take-out point, three teenagers were checking people in. One of them stopped another group and immediately started asking for names so he could charge them a $75 late fee. Their reservation had also been at noon, and they were delayed because of issues caused by the company, not because they were late. The teenager literally told them that wasn't his problem. Then they started trying to charge our group the same $75 late fee. Absolutely not. After multiple customers complained and the manager was called, they finally admitted we didn't owe anything. The entire situation could have been avoided with basic organization, communication, and customer service. We had 4 adults, 2 older kids, and 2 younger kids and spent nearly $400. For that kind of money, customers shouldn't spend over two hours waiting because a company failed to have enough kayaks available for scheduled reservations. The river was nice. The staff experience was terrible. I've floated many rivers over the years and can honestly say this was the worst-run kayak rental operation I've ever dealt with.

At first, we tried walking everywhere. When we noticed these bike stations EVERYWHERE we went, we realized we had found an easier way! We biked from 12 South to Music Row, from Broadway to the Gulch, from the farmers market to... well, really everywhere! Had a great experience. The app is easy to use, the bikes were in good condition, and the price was unbeatable. I purchased one of the packages, even though we only had 48 hours to use it. When you check out a bike, you have 60 minutes to check it back in before the cost starts accumulating to be above the initial $5 or $10 you paid for the 24 or 72 hours. 60 minutes is a LONG time, and I found that we always had it check back in within about 30 minutes.
