This place looks like the place to go in Nashville if you're into outdoor activities. All the brand names you would expect to find here related to each field of play (hiking, biking, mountain climbing, etc) Knowledgeable staff and a large display floor that is well organized and just has an overall clean feel to everything. Prices are in line with any other stores that carry these brands. If you're in the area it's totally worth stopping in here.

This place is as good as it gets. Located right in the city, it is a prime location for travelers, students, and local residents to take advantage of their bike sales, athletic/outdoor gear, and repair shop. My poor bike had a bad tire, and it was fixed for a little under $25 in less that 20 minutes. I was amazed at the friendly, quick, and knowledgeable service. I am not a pro biker at any means, but I did not feel uncomfortable in this store! There's three different counters, I suggest just walking in and telling a worker what you are looking for, they will surely point you in the right direction! I will be back, hopefully not too soon as they fixed my bike up, but maybe for some clothing instead (:.

Great staff - always helpful and don't try to over-sell you. Took my 15 year old Trek in for a tune up and it came back good as new.

This was an unexpected perk of our recent weekend trip to Nashville. As it was our first time…read morevisiting, we didn't realize how easy biking around the city really was. At first, we tried walking everywhere. When we noticed these bike stations EVERYWHERE we went, we realized we had found an easier way! We biked from 12 South to Music Row, from Broadway to the Gulch, from the farmers market to... well, really everywhere! Had a great experience. The app is easy to use, the bikes were in good condition, and the price was unbeatable. I purchased one of the packages, even though we only had 48 hours to use it. When you check out a bike, you have 60 minutes to check it back in before the cost starts accumulating to be above the initial $5 or $10 you paid for the 24 or 72 hours. 60 minutes is a LONG time, and I found that we always had it check back in within about 30 minutes. The only real con was that the bikes couldn't be checked out after 10pm. When you're heading back to your hotel from broadway, all you want is a bike instead of walking. Pro tip: there are some great bike trails near the farmers market that lead you back to downtown so you don't have to take the roads. Shout out to Eric who helped us when my account accidentally locked us out! Love the customer service.

I took it here and they fit me into their schedule and were able to quickly diagnose and fix the issue (turned out the derailer hanger had been slightly bent in transit - thanks Dean for fixing it so quickly). Since it only took a few minutes, they didn't even charge me for the work (although I did end up buying some stuff while I was there). I have also spoken to the owner a couple of times prior to this when I wandered into the shop while in the area for other things, and he was always helpful and willing to answer questions even though I clearly wasn't the normal type of client for a shop like this (aka, I don't know anything about bikes). I will definitely be returning for any bike issues/needs I have.

You can tell this is a true cyclists shop and they know their craft. We told them what we were looking for and they knew exactly what the saddle was and had it in stock. After months of checking stores in CA and AZ, my dad had his seat. We will absolutely be back to Trail & Fitness the next time we need anything cycling related.
