I've had Volt do two windshields for me. It took three trips to get the first windshield right, but everyone has a bad day. I had them do the 2nd one and it was fine for 6 months and then cracked all the way from the bottom to the top of the glass with no impact damage - a stress fracture, which usually doesn't show up for months after the work is done. I had a good experience with this company today. They were responsive each time we called, and their ETA time frame was accurate. The man replaced my windshield in about 50 minutes, and he was productive in this time. I appreciated his attention to detail while replacing the windshield and how he cleaned the glass and was careful. He was also nice and hardworking, even in the hot sun! The windshield replacement was also more affordable, on the lower end of other places I compared them too. My 2008 Honda Civic windshield replacement was around $230 while other places quoted me mostly around $250 to $315 and tried to get me to buy more than I needed. This job was quick, and effective. Will use them again if needed. Only con for me was that the man didn't wear a mask when interacting with us. Other than that, perfect. read more

A rock cracked my windshield on my way to work this morning, and I thought "great! How much will this cost me?!" I've managed to go all 9 years of my driving experience without needing glass repair so I had no idea what the cost would be. Safelite quoted $124 for same day work. I found A $10 coupon online and it brought it down to $114... then the taxes and added fees came. Want them to come to you? Mobile fee $20. Repair kit? $7.99 plus tax and fees... $144 total! Ugh, I accepted. 5 hour window for the afternoon. I then started a more local search and found Velocity. They emailed me a quote within 10 minutes (which I appreciated because I now clocked in for work and couldn't talk) and they only gave me a 2 our window in the morning.... yes!! Grand total $75!!!!!! My car got broken into and they had smashed my car window. As soon as I requested a quote, they got back to me within minutes with a very reasonable price.
