I recently met a friend there for coffee. The service was great, good coffee and treats. I would definitely go back.

I've had this bookmarked for quite sometime now and I've been wanting to try this place.Thankfully, on Thursday 1/22/26, I was in the area and I was a bit hungry and wanting some hot beverage. I found on Yelp that Volcano coffee was within 5 minutes of my location. This was definitely a random visit which turned into a wonderful one. Upon my entry, I was greeted with a cheerful "Good Morning " by one of the ladies (employee/possibly owner) and had made eye contact. I advised it was my first visit and if she didn't mind me taking some updated photos of the business as Yelp had old pictures. She stated "You're more than welcome, let me know when you're ready to order". I thanked her and I would holler. The place was larger than I expected. The building didn't look as big on the outside. I guess I was fooled. LOL! The ambiance was clean, comfortable with cozy lounge furniture and dining tables. There is a Fireplace, however, was not in use as it was warm inside. The Christmas tree was still up. I was advised by one of the ladies that they leave it up and change the theme throughout the year. I thought that was pretty neat. Drive thru is available. After looking through the menu. I opted to order the sausage egg muffin breakfast $6.50. This was good. I also ordered a Masala Chai latte with coconut milk $6.30 (inclusive of up charge $.75). This was recommended by one of the ladies and had claimed it was her favorite drink. I enjoyed this drink very much! I also had a warmed apple fritter $3.05 which was good. The three ladies that were working on that day were so joyful, full of smiles and laughter. I could tell they had great chemistry and enjoyed working there. I believe one of them was the owner. They surely made my morning and my day. I left merrily on my way to run the rest of my errands. I shall be back! =) read more

First thing...the address for Volcano Coffee is not correct. I got directions by going through Yelp and it took me to somebody's house. So go through Google to get to the right address. I am going to submit an edit with the correct address also. I was once at Volcano Coffee quite a long time ago and it was a fun time. We played cards with a social group we were in and it was a lot of fun. I wanted to come back here and get a refresher on their coffee and their pastries so I swung by here just this past weekend to give them a try. I got their Gold Digger coffee drink which was good! It had chocolate in it and a few other things that resulted in this being a pretty rich coffee drink but it was enjoyable all the same! I also got an Apple Fritter which was pretty good. It was flavorful and satisfying. Perhaps not as fresh tasting as some others I have had in the recent past but no actual complaints to issue really. Service was good and the baristas were always very pleasant and nice to chat with. It was a good experience! read more

I used to come here regularly after working at a nearby daycare, always for my iced coffee. But one day, when I politely pointed out that I was given a hot coffee instead of the iced one I ordered, the employee snapped at me with a very rude tone, saying, 'That's not what you asked,' and then stormed off to the back. The manager came out, asked for the drink back, and poured it out right in front of me, both of them acting with a rude attitude. I was just trying to be kind and patient, but after that, I never went back. Very disappointing service. read more

I've been going to Volcano Coffee for years, since my first year of middle school and I'm currently almost done with high school. Volcano Coffee is, by a hundred miles, the best cafe I have ever been in. Their staff and service is top tier, as they always ask questions and entirely engaged, and the inside atmosphere is amazing. They have an amazing set up, with adorable decor year round and seasonal. The food is the best. I've gotten a Pizza Bagel and a Chocolate Chip Cookie almost every week/every other week for the past 5 years and it never gets old. Their drinks are always changing, but you can still ask for them out of season sometimes, and they keep a regular shipment so you'll always be able to get what you would like soon. I've always has some style of Red Lotus, Strawberry, and Cream, with some flavor or another (for the past year, its been vanilla) and they're quick to remember consistent orders (I pull up and its "Hey! Red lotus right?" which I really enjoy). I don't have great social skills, but I've never found it hard to converse and laugh with them. Close by my work so makes it easy to stop by quickly and grab something last minute. Service is great and the girlies are always so sweet. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious too! read more

In my opinion, this is the best coffee shop to sit and chat with friends in this area. 1) Easy parking lot right in front. 2) Great snacks, desserts and a fantastic chai tea latte - nutty, sweet vanilla. 3) Comfy seating and plenty of space. Has a few high tops for 3-4 people. Check out the coffee cake .. mmmm.. One wish? That they offered hot lunch sandwiches or paninis. This would take them over the top! read more

I've been a regular customer at Volcano for years and I will always recommend them to anyone who asks. The coffee is good, and my favorite barista of all time is there. If the drive thru line looks long go inside! It might not be that much quicker, but you get bonus ambiance. read more

We were in the area looking for a quick cup of coffee inbetween looking at house. We found this place and it was a great stop. Lots of couchs and chairs for people to sit out. A nice fireplace is in the center of the building. Staff was very friendly and helpful. read more

Stopped in yesterday afternoon. First time here, but good vibe and seating area. Ordered a latte, they weren't busy and asked to use the restroom. Met up with a couple friends to chat and play cards. It's very cozy with plenty of places to set up a small or larger group to connect. They even have a large table that seats 8-10 that you can reserve for meetings or book clubs. Etc. I did order a pumpkin spice latte. I'm not a huge fan of that flavor but it's the season. read more

This is my first time coming here and I will say, being used to the bigger coffee chains I was a bit confused at how to order (you don't order ahead of time, just once you get to the window in the drive thru) but the baristas were super friendly and the drink was so good! Went here yesterday for the first time. Generally I go to Starbucks which I like but wanted a bit of variety. This store was great. Felt comfortable. Not corporate. Beautiful wood bar where you order your drinks and food. They had a leather couch with a love seat and chair where I relaxed while reading my tablet.The mocha I ordered was good. It was pleasantly busy but not too loud.The barista who took my order had a cool hat. The employees said hello when I arrived and goodbye when I left. It was cool. Only issue was the lock on the bathroom was broken and despite "tips on how to work the lock" on the door I was still unable to lock it. But overall a very good experience. read more

As a very pregnant woman, when cravings come on, they arrive and slap you in the face. Today's craving was carrot cake and boy oh boy did Volcano Coffee deliver! My local stand has seemed to be off their game so I've been trying other stands lately. Volcano? Not it. I got a 16 oz iced pumpkin pie and vanilla americano with cream. It tastes like a couple drops of cinnamon in water. My boyfriend got a blended mocha and there was way too much chocolate. Like a half inch thick in the bottom of the cup. Neither drink tasted like coffee in the slightest. I've had some terrible coffee but this is super disappointing. I'd heard really great things about Volcano but I will not he back. read more

I live in the area so I swing by from time to time. The drinks are pretty sweet, since I like flavored lattes. When I have time I'll sit inside with friends or alone to get some work done. A young lady came out with a sticky note to take our order my husband and I have never been here before so we were a little bummed we didnt get to look at the menu she didnt help us one bit ordering too. Oh well they were busy. When we pulled up the woman was so friendly and so smiley she turned our waiting into us not minding anymore. I ordered a blended mocha very good, not overly sweet like Starbucks. My husband ordered the hazelnut latte he said its good, little milky no idea what he means! He was very happy to see how much to tip on the receipt to sign. We are half way down the road and the is street and he is still talking about it. The masala chai tea with two pumps of vanilla is absolutely fantastic. The Italian pizza bagel also tastes delicious.

The food and drinks are delicious, customer service is an A+, the environment is cozy, warm, and there are a number of outlets for when your precious electronics run out of juice! I came to this location after being recommended by a friend, and ended up spending three hours studying for finals here. Although its a bit of a trek from PLU, it was definitely worth the drive. I arrived around lunch time and ordered the turkey Italian bagel. The staff offered to warm up the sandwich and even provided marinara dipping sauce. Automatically my favorite! I also ordered an Italian soda with orange syrup which was quite delicious. After wallowing my sorrows in homework, I was perked up by the most amazing carrot cake cupcake that I've ever had. I'm not sure what they put in it, it might as well be crack for how addicting it was. For the studiously minded people, Volcano has a great number of outlets and open tables. Very cozy and intimate.
