Get to your gate an hour before departure, because this airline started boarding an hour early, and they closed the gate 1/2 hour before the original departure time. We were already 10 minutes in the air by the originally scheduled time. And this was all without notice. We ended up arriving to our destination 28 minutes early, which was fine with us since we had the time, but it could have been a real big problem for those not expecting an early take off. Also this airline offers drinks, snacks, and light meals, but it's all at a charge. There is nothing included with your ticket. The flight itself was very good. Smooth with a beautiful sunny day.

I booked round-trip tickets with Volaris for my grandparents, and this was by far the worst airline experience I've ever had. On August 8, 2025, I purchased the tickets with seats. On September 10, 2025, I paid separately for a carry-on bag. Despite this, when my grandparents traveled from Mexico to the U.S., they were charged again at the airport for their carry-on, even though it met Volaris' weight and size requirements. On their return flight September 29, 2025, I had already paid for their carry-on, but they were charged yet again at Chicago Midway Airport. In total, they were charged multiple times for the same bag. I tried calling, emailing, and even using WhatsApp to resolve this issue, but Volaris never responded. Their so-called "customer service" is essentially nonexistent -- no live agents, no replies, no accountability. I've had to dispute all of these charges with my credit card company. No passenger should have to go through this. Bottom line: Volaris engages in unfair baggage fee practices, provides zero customer service support, and creates a nightmare travel experience. This is not a one-off mistake but a systemic issue. Avoid Volaris at all costs if you value transparency, honesty, and reliable service.

A personal in the airline useless

Selling people ticket without even calling your name, wasn't late for them to sell my seat.

Had an amazing trip. Flight was delayed both times but the customer service was excellent. Highly recommend using the CBX flying out of Tijuana.

Absolutely destroyed my baggage and all i got was a voucher that's only good for a year.

We purchased tickets through Aeroméxico using the CBX. The CBX was supposed to be in lied with our purchase however. I even called customer service to confirm this a couple of days before our trip. It turns out, we had no issues crossing over but on the way back we weee told the CBX charge wasn't included and we would have to pay extra. This all was very confusing especially since I called to confirm that it was included. Not sure if I would use this airline again or if I do, I'll purchase the CBX tickets on my own.

We didn't know so we just paid it on our way home. We were at the Mexican airport bought a couple of bottles of alcohol at the airport and put inside our luggage we went to check our bag and they said you don't need to check it. It's a carry-on bag we said that's not what happened on our way to Mexico City. They said we were overweight and they charged us $175. They said they shouldn't of charged you you're underweight you're only at 11 pounds and that's with the alcohol I was infuriated so when we returned, I called customer service and they stated they couldn't do anything for me. Hints the reason for the review.

This (toll-free) number is open 24 hours for flight reservations, ticket changes, cancellations, baggage inquiries, refund requests, modifications, and other travel-related requirements. As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain  Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell AgaiN.

Still love JetBlue!…read more The priority boarding extra leg space and TVs make it a great flight. The only issue is with this hub there seems to be more delays than leaving Boston. So far only 25 percent of my flights leave on time. From Boston not as single delay at all. Luckily I never had a flight get cancelled. On my last trip a majority of the TVs were not working. They kept restarting. I also had the worst passengers sitting in front of me. They took up Two rows and they were out of control the entire trip. They could not control their kids. It was horrible and like a scene from Outbreak. They kept coughing all over the place, they would also stand up on the seats and cough in your face. . Wouldn't doubt if it was the flu or something. The kids kept jumping on the seat and screaming and crying. They could not control the kids. The entire family manned 1 bathroom for like 1/2 the trip. At one point the father apologized to me because the kept throwing and losing crayons and the would end up in my row behind them. Why not control your kids instead? The was a nightmare flight. I was going to ask for another seat but didn't want to make a big deal of it. At one point the father kept knocking on the bathroom door when somone else was in there. You took up the bathroom the entire trip, maybe others now need to use it. I could hear other passengers complain about them but not sure if they said anything. This was like Romper Room and Daddy Day Care all mixed in one. I feel bad for anyone else that has to get on a plane with them. Ok my rant is over. Just wish a flight attendant woulda told them to relax. And keep seated. lol. Can't really blame JeTblue for the passengers so I'm giving this trip a 3.75 lol.

My boyfriend walked up and asked if we could be moved closer to the front of the plane given the circumstances and she waved him away without even looking at our itinerary. Told him the gates were close together in Boston. The plane had several open seats closer to the front, so this would not have been a burden on her. The flight attendant on the plane was much more helpful, and the pilot made an announcement that a few folks had extremely tight connections so please remain seated unless you were one of them. Every single person in economy stayed seated, but I guess the announcement didn't reach the privileged, self-centered folks in first, as they ALL stood up and a woman told my boyfriend to move so she could grab her luggage. He said no, and I explained we had an extremely tight connection. A man in an Aloha Brewing shirt barked at me that everyone had tight connections. He started becoming very irritated and the woman in front of him told him that it was too early in the day to fight me. So that was fun. I hope dude felt really good about himself for going off on a girl. Anyway, he said he was going to New York so I checked the flights to New York. His connection was not tight. He was just rude. I recognize this is unrelated commentary but it's helpful context in the grand scheme of my experience. Our connecting plane was nowhere near the gate when we disembarked, so we had to run through the airport to another part of Terminal C in Boston. A JetBlue agent there asked where we were running to and said she'd call the plane to ask them to hold it for us. They did. JetBlue in Boston was stellar. All's well that ends well in the end, and the FA/pilot really did save the day, but I really wish the gate agent in San Diego had cared even an ounce to help us as a touch of customer service would've gone a long way. It could've been a different outcome if economy hadn't acknowledged the pilot's announcement.

I got dropped off around 7 AM, and while it was definitely busy, it felt manageable. From my experience, it really depends on the time you go, but most times I've been to the airport, it hasn't been too chaotic. This time I flew with Alaska Airlines. I'm usually a Delta person, but Alaska kind of won me over with their cheaper ticket pricing. Their drop-off area is one of the first when you enter the departure lane, so it's super convenient and quick to get out. That said, there were a lot of cars and the TSA line looked long, but surprisingly, it only took me about 15 minutes to get through. The terminal itself feels pretty small, low ceilings, a bit cramped, and not my favorite layout. However, the staff were friendly, and the process overall was smooth. I'd still say Delta is my go-to, but if you're flying Alaska, just make sure to go early in case there's traffic or longer lines.

Hubby and I were headed to Puerto Escondido, which is very expensive and very time-consuming to fly to from the airport in San Diego. However, flight prices and times were much more reasonable from Tijuana. Thanks to CBX, we didn't need to find anyone to cross the border and drive us directly to the airport, especially as our flight departed at 5:40 AM. It was nice to have an easy drop off on this side of the border. Anyway, we were dropped off on the US side, and had pre-purchased CBX tickets online for $50 per person, round trip. I felt that the price was very fair for the staffing and amenities along the way. We had already reserved a rideshare to drive us to CBX, but I saw the secure parking lots and realized that parking there is also a valid, safe option. It appeared that some of the secured parking cost about $30 per day, making it a good option depending how may days you would like to park your car. Anyway, when we entered, there were people guiding us, as it wasn't too crowded at that early hour. You scan your CBX ticket, your boarding pass, and your passport. Then you are able to walk through the barriers. There are escalators and elevators to get to the bridge, and signs stating that there is assistance available for people with disabilities. The bridge was clean and air-conditioned. We walked through customs just prior to entering the Tijuana airport. When I had learned about CBX, I was reluctant. A friend of mine told me that she had walked much further in various airports. It is true. The walk is short and easy Upon coming back to the states, we learned that there were several taco and other food trucks on the US side of CBX, as well as Starbucks and a well-known mall pretzel company. All in all, I am grateful to have a way to access the TJ airoprt in a very easy and affordable way. I plan to continue to use CBX for more affordable flights south of the border.
