Such a cool place! I love the roof top. Not much seating but it's a great view of the city. Apparently this place is known for their pizzas and they definitely delivered (in my opinion at least). We first walked in and were guided to the elevator. The first thought was wow, this place is pretty well decorated and stood out from the rest of the stores in this area. We reached the rooftop and it was an outdoor bar with enough seating for probably around 40 or so? you could fit more standing because there's a good amount of space, they should keep it that way. We ordered the crack fries, the Wilson, and the Bee sting. I loved the Bee sting, the spice and honey combo work great together. The crack fries could have used a little more crisp but that's just an opinion, the flavor was great though. The Wilson was a bit.. soggy. the vegetables on top did not seem fully cooked, and it was a mess of a pizza. Pretty good flavor but it could have used a bit more time in the oven. Staff were friendly, place was clean, price was decent, overall a great experience and will be back to try more (but mostly for the view.) read more

My aunt, sister, and I were out for a girls night and we decided to grab dinner here. I'm glad we did because the pizza is delicious and the adult beverages (girly drinks) are the perfect balance of sweetness and alcohol. We started our meal with the Crack Fries. They really are crack lol- try them they don't disappoint if you are a fan of Parmesan and garlic. I opted for the Margherita pizza which was phenomenal! I can't wait for my next visit :) read more

This a a great place to hang out and have drinks. It's a multilevel restaurant/bar. We chose rooftop seating. The surround views of Norman are excellent. The place overlooks campus corner with a view of the OU campus. The 'Bulleit Proof' cocktail (their spelling) is delicious. It is crisp, clean and refreshing... also making it dangerous to drink a lot of them! I ordered a pizza...a bit disappointed here. There was one pepperoni piece per slice. The pizza looks sad. Taste was ok....Nothing memorable. Service was terrible. Our waitress admitted she forgot about us. We had to walk to the bar to get more drinks for our table. Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service!!! I emailed a catering order on a Thursday for pick up on Saturday. I received a confirmation email stating that the order was scheduled and that my credit card had been charged. 30 minutes before I was supposed to pick up the order, they called and said that they had just received the order and that they would not be able to fill the order!!! They had too many other orders that had to be filled. WHAT!! I was already in my way to Norman. I live about 45 minutes away. How do you send a confirmation email and charge my credit card and then call me 30 minutes before I'm supposed to pick up the food?!! I never eaten at this restaurant and never will. I have eaten at their sister location, Benvenuti's. I will not eat there again! Owners, management whoever must do better!! read more

We had been wanting to go rooftop, but there just wasn't any room, so we went for the lounge and enjoyed a very relaxed atmosphere on a fabulous red couch. We began with drinks, I had the best Moscow mule I've had in the OKC area, and the hubs just ordered a draft beer.....fat tire, I believe. We started with the Scarpetta, fried zucchini strings, which were yummy, but maybe a tad under fried. We split a Luna salad because who doesn't love a fried goat cheese medallion. Yum. Then we split the Bee Sting pizza. Flavor on the pizza was great, but the amount of liquid in, and under, the center of the pizza was excessive. However, the crust was fresh tasting towards the outer edge of the pizza, the mozzarella used was so good and the red sauce wasn't overpowering. The soppresata slices could have been left off and the pizza would have been just as flavorful. The peppers were h.o.t. Serrano, I think...... We will be back to try the rooftop another night, perhaps next summer when there aren't as many students reuniting for the school year. read more

My party of 6's experience was so bad last week that I had to make this place my first review on Yelp. Food was decent but customer service was abysmal. If you decide to go request to be downstairs because you'll be forgotten in the mezzanine area regardless of how dead the restaurant is. Had to wait 15 minutes before being seated in a near empty restaurant and realized why since bussing tables here takes at least 20 minutes. Drink your drinks sparingly because quick refills are hard to come by here. Remember to ask if they are out of any items off the menu when you order because you won't be told until you get your food without them. Review your check too for said missing items otherwise you'll be paying for them. Don't order the fries unless you like them still frozen. Don't bother talking to the manager because she'll be on the phone discussing her life with her friends since customer service isn't her forte. If you pay cash make sure to count your change because I was shorted $20 after paying with a $50. You can tell this place is new but if the staff don't get their communication right for all three floors this place won't last no matter how many excuses they make for their service. read more

One of my favorite spots on campus corner! Good atmosphere, great rooftop patio with an amazing view. The food and service have both been great. Today we had the bourbon BBQ wings to start. A gorgeous pizza oven in the center of the restaurant (from the Old Country, I understand) sets the damn tone. Like a 1970s Oklahoma fullback, the presence is there. Bar to the left, high tops in front, informal bench-and-tables to the right and a pizza bar (think sushi bar where you watch them make sushi) to the center. They have an upstairs that is great and I haven't been to the rooftop yet. Ambiance: hip-ish. Cool enough for a 21 year old to bring a cool date, while "edgy" for square 36 year olds. Food pro tip: no joke, a side throw away item, the mini corn dogs, are freaking bad ass. I have a toddler, so we ordered them for him, and finished them ourselves. I guess they batter them in-house?? I dunno, but they are super. Also super: buffalo wings, whether you get them with the buffalo or BBQ sauce. Remember: while the items on the menu may not seem Paris-fancy, this is a Benvenuti's restaurant and the fare meets that expectation. Pizzas: we love the Big Stick pepperoni. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the meatball sliders, corn dogs, sausage sandwich, and truffle fries. We sat on the rooftop which offered the best view in Norman. The fries were excellent, but we had to send them back because they were brought to us cold. The sausage sandwich had a pretty significant spicy-ness to it, which really was not in the description. Had I ordered it (which I almost did), I would have been disappointed because I would not have known by the menu description. Plus, it was not compacted in it's skin enough, but that is a subjective preference. The winner were the meatball sliders! However, I really enjoyed this place. I am eager to return to try other offerings. I just know to look out for service-type issues (ie cold food). Oh and a HUGE plus is that they have great drink prices. Upon entering the restaurant was told by the hostess that she needed to clean off the table to the immediate right of us. She split this table into 2 two-toppers. After taking about 10 minutes to bus these 2 tables she sat us. Immediately following, either the Manager or Owner told us we had to move to another two-topper literally feet from where we were sitting but crammed in between 2 other guests. I requested the Manager/Owner for us to be able to stay at the table the hostess had originally seated us at because it had a bit more room and we wouldn't have to be seated inches from the other guests. She informed us she couldn't accommodate our request. When I questioned the Manager/Owner and requested to be able to stay at the table we were seated at by the hostess, she refused our request and commented basically that it "was Saturday night in the big city" and basically she couldn't help us and we had to move tables! One of the rudest experiences I have ever had from someone in the hospitality industry. We left and didn't get to experience the food at Volare. Just a really cruddy way to handle a guest that walks into your restaurant. read more

You're driving business away when a waitress has to talk to you via mouthing words n hand signals. I went on a Bumble Date here and it was AMAZING. FYI to those who are meeting someone for the first time--the rooftop is the perfect place to go! Volare is also so great for first dates because it can be fancier or casual which takes the stress off of figuring out what to wear! We split some crack fries (YUM!!!) and the "bee sting" pizza because we thought it was fitting for a first Bumble Date. I wouldn't have tried it otherwise but I think it might be my new favorite!! Went here after a long day of hiking in the Wichita Mountains. It was crazy busy on a Saturday night and we sat on a couch without a legit table, but we were so hungry it didn't matter. I've started coming here for less than a year now and I love their pizzas! But their service is absolutely shitty. I just picked up 2 pizzas to go and I asked for the receipt. First off, my bill was $34 for 2 of their pizzas. When I asked why my bill was so high they told me that it was the tax but tax doesn't add $8 to your bill so I knew they added an extra charge. Then when I asked them about my bill again, they told me there was an automatic 20% service charge on all to go orders that they never mentioned. I don't mind paying a tip but the fact that they charged me extra without letting me know is absurd. Also, it took me calling them back 3 times for them to give me a correct explanation of my receipt. Honestly felt like I was being scammed. read more

Volare is a wonderful pizza bar in Norman's Campus Corner district. They have a rooftop bar/dining area that offers a great view of the OU campus and football stadium. This was terrible. Simply terrible. First, we couldn't find any server to take our order for the first 20 minutes! We ordered bottles of wine, to which we were told there were no wine glasses available.... there were 6 glasses hanging from the bar....after an hour I had a wine glass. A manager named Star Dust apologized to our table of 10 that we in fact, do not have a reservation because there is a $2,500 minimum to order dinner upstairs where our reservation was made and confirmed. Well, If that is the case maybe you need to reevaluate your menu for your $11.00 pizzas! Is this Vegas??? We finally made it upstairs to the mezzanine and observed servers arguing amongst each other--that didn't want to take our orders!! They would rather talk to each other. We received 0 quality service on a 1-10 sliding scale. Our group appreciates service and will tip 30% +. We were treated like second class people.
