    Pizza half and half
    Kim D.

Delicious wood fired pizza! I love that you can split the pizza in half so you can try two different kinds. I called in an order for pick up and it was ready within 15 minutes, that's unheard of! I got half Calabrian and half bee sting. The burrata and tomatoes was also really good. I didn't get utensils with the to go order though so that was tricky to eat.

I absolutely love this place. We went during the summertime so obviously it's gonna be a little less busy during the school year because it's on campus corner. When we sat down at the bar with fast service. The drink menu was huge and I had no idea what to get so I asked the bartender and she made something up for me. She made a raspberry club special and it was very good. We got the fries as an appetizer in those were amazing. Unfortunately the pasta machine was broken so instead, we just got two pizzas to share and they were both very good. I absolutely love Volare and will definitely be back.

    Mount Vesuvius
    Steven P.

Dropped in on a Thursday evening. Immediate seating was available for the four of us. We had a spicy pizza (Calabrian), Mount Vesuvius pasta dish, caprese salad, and a cheeseburger. All dishes were good - the pizza was quite spicy! Caprese had cherry tomatoes though -- would have been better with a different tomato. Cheeseburger and fries were okay - burger seemed like a frozen food service patty - brioche bun was nice though. Fries were good - could have been a bit crispier for my taste. Mount Vesuvius was well received. Pasta with cheese and pizza crust on top - very creative. Service was generally okay - although I did have to go to the bar for refill my water. It's a good place for a bite to eat and meet with friends or family.

The salad I ordered (pic from the website) vs the salad I got. Pretty disappointed. Tasteless, chicken was dry, goat cheese was a fried ball on the side of the salad, like WTH? And I ordered a diet Dr Pepper and it was not right so I had to switch out for Diet Coke. My kids said the pizza was good, but I won't be rushing back there.

Ricky Ricotta Pizza Calabrian King Pizza
    Lainie B.

Both pizzas were soooooo good. Ricky Ricotta was our favorite. Calabrian king was yummy too but had a lot of chilis that made it pretty spicy.

I have always loved Volare! Great view and service. Food was fantastic too. We got garlic knots, pizza, and pasta!

Crack Fries Plate without parmesan. It was good, but about half of the basket was thin, hard pieces and crumbs.

Utterly delicious food with an upscale feel. We sat on the second floor and had a lovely view of OU's stadium.

The bruschetta was truly the best I'd ever had. The arancini was delightful too. We were given the choice of a few entree options. My friends raved of the Chicken Piccata and Tagliata Di Manzo (perfectly cooked to everyone's preferences). I personally had the Ravioli Di Fiori, and I finished every bite! Our next option was dessert: cheesecake or tiramisu. I personally had the tiramisu, but my pasta around me all had cheesecake. It was delicious! Drinks were a mixed bag with what everyone ordered. I order the rose reverie and blueberry faux-jito. Neighbors faves of the pear mule and other beverages. Service was wonderful. Everyone who served out party was incredibly attentive and we were never without service for long. Our bride provided flowers and candles which made the vibes wonderful, moody, and romantic. It was the perfect atmosphere for a rehearsal dinner. Bathrooms were clean, staff directed us toward them, and everyone was so kind. If I lived in the area, I'd absolutely be back. Highly recommend.

I was a little skeptical when we first arrived since the restaurant was fairly empty for a Saturday night, but wow! This place exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a casual Italian dining feel. They seated us by the window, which made for a really nice setting for dinner. We may have just come on an unusually slow night, but it honestly made for a laid-back and enjoyable experience. I started with the spinach artichoke dip, which was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I especially loved the little toasted bread it was served with. For my entrée, I ordered the manicotti with pink sauce, and it was incredible. The portions were huge, so I could only eat about half, but that just meant leftovers for later! Since we were some of the only people in the restaurant, it felt like we had the place to ourselves, which was actually pretty awesome. I also asked everyone in our group what they thought of their meals, and every single person said they loved them. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent food, generous portions, a cozy atmosphere, and wonderful service. 10/10 would recommend!

We finally had the chance to try Pryor's Pizza Kitchen after wanting to visit for quite a while,…read morethanks to an invitation to celebrate a friend's birthday. The pizzas are large enough for two people to share, but I'd actually recommend ordering two--one to enjoy at the restaurant and another to take home (if there's any left!). As a bit of a pizza snob, I'd say the pizza was good, but there's room for improvement. The flavor was enjoyable, and I really liked the nice char on the bottom and around the crust. My biggest critique is that I'd prefer a slightly thicker crust to better support the toppings, and I think the pizza would benefit from a little more sauce. Those small changes would take it up another notch for me. Ordering is simple and convenient. Just scan the QR code at your table, place your order from your phone, and your food is brought right to you. The system accepts both credit cards and Apple Pay, which made the whole process quick and easy. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. Overall, we had a good experience and would happily return to try a few of the other pizzas on the menu.

I'm from Los Angeles, CA, so trust me when I say this. When you walk in, you almost get that Eastern European Brew-Haus feel... what you actually get is quite different. Good service, your food delivered to your table... plenty of it to eat... and porters to take away what's left when you are done, without asking. I've read the reviews that were negative... I can see how if an employee is having a bad day, how some of these reviews make sense... But overall, the negative reviews are not warranted... and I was in a party of nine! No troubles or issues... I had the Sooner-Q pizza. What it lacked in visual presentation it made up for in taste! This is Neapolitan style pizza or at least the Oklahoma equivalent there to. Woodfired pizza ovens will leave a bit of char on the bottom of the pizza that's to be expected. Anybody bitching about it clearly does not know Pizza, and has no business bitching... IMHO. The Zen garden salad is a real treat. Just beware of the diced jalapeños blended in every bite is a wake up call but the balsamic dressing is absolutely delicious. Did I mention the bar staff extremely friendly? I wished they had a bottle of Strongbow, vs the can of Angry Orchard... AO canned cider barely has any kick, but I can't fault them for not having it (cough cough). I'm full... enjoying the wide swalth of people, ages and cultures... it's Saturday night at Pryor's Pizza Kitchen, where else would I ever be?!
