I am writing to share my experience with Voge Inc. following a recent water damage emergency at my home. Initially, my wife and I were grateful for their prompt and attentive response. They were quick to dispatch someone late at night to begin mitigating the damage, which was a relief during a stressful time. We signed a document to authorize the initial phase of work. However, as the process has unfolded, several aspects have caused us significant concern and have unfortunately turned this experience into a considerable challenge. I feel it is important to outline these points for others who may be considering their services. Firstly, despite multiple requests, we have not been provided with a clear scope of work for the services being performed. We were only offered pictures, which lack the detail needed for a comprehensive understanding of the project. When we specifically asked for the scope of work, we were informed that the insurance company had it and had approved it, but Voge Inc. was unwilling to share it with us directly, even after our repeated requests. Secondly, it has now been two weeks since the initial mitigation and demolition work was completed, and an invoice has still not been sent to our insurance company. My direct requests for the invoice have also gone unanswered. This lack of timely billing is causing unnecessary delays and complications. Thirdly, during our initial contact, it was indicated that Voge Inc. handles projects from mitigation to repair. However, we have since learned that they operate using third-party contractors, requiring us to sign additional contracts with other businesses. This was not clearly communicated upfront and adds a layer of complexity that was unexpected. Furthermore, due to the lack of transparency regarding the scope of work from Voge Inc., I contacted my insurance company directly to obtain it. Upon review, I identified some items that raise questions. For instance, there is a charge for paint removal in an area where drywall is also being claimed for removal. Additionally, regarding the kitchen cabinets, while the demolition is complete, there is still visible damage on the top portions. When I discussed this with a representative, I was told that insurance would likely not approve the repair, but it should still be documented - a point framed as "working for the customer." This last point is particularly concerning given previous reviews I have since seen, which suggest potential issues with billing transparency and customers receiving charges for work they were unaware of. Overall, our experience with Voge Inc. has lacked transparency, and we have been kept uninformed about critical aspects of the process. As of today, we have not seen an invoice, nor has our insurance company. We are now considering further action to address these issues. While our experience has been far from satisfactory, I hope this information will be helpful for others making decisions about their service providers. read more

Exceeded our expectations!!! Omar and His dedicated designer at Voge were a people to work with from the moment we stepped into our kitchen remodeling. I shared som photos of kitchens we liked and Omar visited the house to get a sense of the space and kitchen life style. Omar and His team prepared 3 wonderful initial design concepts for the kitchen. The designs were incredible and Omar with his people are certainly 'kitchen design professionals', with their great understanding of construction which designs make it easy to implement with the existing space and each to define which design will require some level of construction renovation. With absolutely no pressure from any of the people we met to select or sell any one of the initial design concepts, we carefully inspected and checked the designs, functions, and total costs of all of them. Before selecting the final desin concept that we had, Omar and His team completely layout and spread the cost for each one of the stages of the remodeling. We selected the design that fit within our existing space and did not require moving any walls. We also selected the mid-price range of cabinets, Floor, paint, counter-tops and more... from the big range of cabinet manufactures that they represents. (We are both working parnts, and we did not have the 'unlimited' kitchen remodeling budget) Omar arranged for 3 different cabinets styles specialists to visit our home and provide firm quotations and 2-3 samples of styles and colors that will fit perfectly to the kitchen of Omar's design. We selected one of the samples that we loved a lot and the vendor was able to complete the manufacture of the cabinet's on-time. In addition to Omar's great depth of design experience and expertise, We feel Omar's true and unique talent is understanding and working with colors as would a renowned artist delivering a truly phenomenal forward kitchen design with a spirit and we both love! read more

Approximately seven weeks ago, our water heater burst so I called a plumber to fix the problem. Admittedly, I had no idea what exactly the "fix" would turn out to be. What a mess. It is safe to say I will not be using or recommending the plumbing company again, however, Voge, Inc saved the day...the silver lining. Every person I encountered treated our home as if it were their own to restore. What began & progressed as a lot more than I anticipated was muted by the professionalism, honesty, & compassion of every person that stepped foot into our home. The workmanship was of the highest quality. Their timeliness & showing up when appointments were scheduled was greatly appreciated as my work/life schedule is not conducive to the norm. I would really like to thank Omar Palacios for being so awesome during the drying out process. He communicated & explained everything so clearly leaving no surprises. Rick Stephan's estimate was fair & free of hidden costs. Aliki Deffan, the guru of all things management via their office things, was very patient with me & always sweet. Finally, Isaac Amar, I find it difficult to put into words how much your kindness, fairness, honesty, & professionalism meant/means to us. Isaac's sense of how things would work best as well as his ability to really see what we needed were invaluable. Although our water heater bursting was less than optimal I must say what a stroke of good fortune working with Voge, Inc. has been. I highly recommend Voge! I'm so thankful to have been introduced to Voge Inc! We had a slab leak in our new home and we felt like our entire world had ended. We had no idea what to do or where to begin with the process. Our plumber referred us to Voge and from day 1, Voge assured us everything would be ok and instilled a sense of security that did not dissipate as time went on. All of their staff were true professionals throughout the process and very communicative & friendly. Two individuals in particular really impressed me by providing excellence in service and a sharp knowledge of the business. Rick Stephen dealt with our claims stuff, navigated us through, and answered all of my neurotic questions without sounding even the least bit annoyed. Tomer Bitton was with us every step of the way and texted us every morning and evening to touch base, follow up, and make sure we were happy. He was on site several of the days, so as to stay actively involved and manage the quality of work. Whenever Tomer was called upon, he answered, delivered and truly exceeded my expectations by going above and beyond. Their contractors were perfectionists, respectful and sweet. They left a couple of water bottles lying around the front yard, otherwise, left the place tidy at the end of each work day. The process from start to finish took about a month or so, which was fast considering all that was done. I normally don't review this kind of business because Yelp's review system is incredibly stupid and last time I reviewed a business that was not a restaurant my review got flagged as "not recommended" but I will take a risk here and review this place anyways. This is an honest and unbiased review from an actual customer. Long story short, I just purchased my first apartment in Valley Glenn and have to say It was the biggest purchase of my life. I decided to do some improvements around the apartment before I moved in- get rid of popcorn ceilings and walls, install recessed lighting, paint, crown molding, etc. I initially received a low cost bid from a competitor who I went with. This ended up being the worst mistake of my life. This contractor literally ruined the walls to the point where they were wavy, sanded improperly, shoddy paint job. I called Voge who came for an inspection within the hour on a Thursday morning to evaluate the damage caused by the now fired ex contractor. I could immediately tell the difference in professionalism between my old contractor and the Voge guys. I was told the work that had been done was bad and told me exactly what needed to be done. The next day I was given a complete estimate and started work on Monday. This was a heaven sent. The work was done within the quoted time and allocated budget. Don't trust companies out there simply because of their high yelp reviews, do your research and find the right ones you can actually trust. read more

My house is somewhat old and I didn't do many updates to it since I purchased it. The master bathroom was small and old-dated that included a corner shower with water damage in one of the corners. On top of that, there was no storage. Omar came over to take a look at the bathroom and we discussed about what can be done. Omar was able to see my vision and to understand what I would like to have. The whole experience of this remodeling was good from the first meeting, during the actual work and all the way to the final results of the bathroom. The construction crews were always on time and professional. Omar or his floor-man kept constantly to update me on the progress and to inform me with anything that was out of original plan of the work. I must mention also that at the end of any working day, the people that worked that day made sure to leave the job site clean. The master bathroom turned out amazing and I could not be happier. Now I have a much larger shower and a lot of storage space which I never thought I could get. I recommend Voge and Omar (including the actual people that did the work) to anyone who is looking to remodeling any part of their house. I had a pipe leak and chose Voge based on Yelp reviews and the recommendation of Ron from Sherlock Leak Detectives (review also posted). This company exceeded my expectations and confirmed there are still businesses whose priority is customer service. Tomer and his team of professionals were responsive, knowledgeable, on time, always returned phone calls and emails promptly and restored my home with minimal disruption. My husband has ALS and is on a ventilator and I worried about him breathing in dust since it wasn't an option for us to go to a hotel but they were able to seal off the area near his bedroom and he never had a problem. The job took just about 7 weeks from start to finish and included drying out walls and the affected hardwood flooring, taking up and replacing roughy 1000 square feet of flooring, repairing and replacing walls, painting downstairs and upstairs bonus room and hallways, and packing and returning furniture when the work was completed. Just as my work was finishing my daughter's home experienced similar problems and I didn't hesitate to recommend them to her. They started work on her home yesterday and I am confident she will be as satisfied as I was once the job is completed. read more

This is my second review of Voge as my first review below two months ago referenced the mitigation process which I was pleased. I am now 100% completed with the restoration/construction part of the process and I am again very pleased and grateful of the work Voge and it's employees provided. Specifically David Meir (Project Manager) was able to get my property back to or better than it was before. He was very easy to work with and was very accommodating during this process. It can be difficult working with construction personnel, but not David. I was impressed with his knowledge in the construction/project side of the restoration project. His supervisor Tomar was also a pleasure to work with in addition to their office/coordinator Aliki who also helped coordinate all the work from mitigation, construction, project, and the content crew for being able to coordinate moving my personal belongings and furniture in and out the home in which caused the process of the restoration to move smoothly. I have zero issues with this company. I highly recommend using this company for your restoration needs as it's a one stop shop and hopefully you can wind up with David Meir as well. read more

As a result of storm damage, we needed to replace the roof on our home. Our insurance company suggested we contact Voge, Inc. and speak with Billy Alch. Billy and his roofing contractor (Kanuk Roofing) responded. Billy, Ricardo and Justin did an outstanding job and exceeded our expectations. Billy Alch took on the extra effort of working closely with our insurance company and made sure we got all of the money needed for this project to be completed properly (especially due to some City code issues that had to be adhered to as required by our city building dept.) Ricardo is a true craftsman and really "knows his stuff" and pays particular attention to detail. He really takes pride in his work and took "ownership" of the project. He took it personally as though he was working on his own home. The only "downside" on this project was in getting the checks endorsed by our mortgage company. The mortgage company was not easy to deal with, but the staff at Voge was especially patient with us in getting those endorsements and we were finally able to get Voge paid. We really appreciate their patience and understanding. We would recommend Voge, Inc. in a "heartbeat". read more

A year and a half ago, our steam shower upstairs had a pinhole in it, causing steam throughout the house. State Farm took care of the payment. Danny and Ivan, and Angie were the most attending professional crew ever. I've hired and fired Tens of contractors over my 60 year carrier ( I'm 85 now) and I would call Voge for the emergency and Regal for the mold remediation and would ask for these people to not only come to our assistance but stay for Dinner! Omar and his professional team at Voge and design were more than what I was looking for my landscaping at my house. My passion is garnering work and landscape design. Before I hired them, I had lots of hopes that they will be able to come up with the results that I wanted in the landscaping installation. During my professional work, I came across many contractors for my clients and Voge was the one I selected for my own house. Omar was the only one I could trust to do things the right way and to be truthful about what can be done. He is an expert when it comes to plants, materials and ideas of how to make things great. We turned our useless yard and with his skillful work, we convert it in to a great useable yard, stunningly planted with vegetable gardens, fruit trees and decorative plants. It has become a reserve space for us! Omar built us such a fine-looking retaining walls around the pool in order to help with drainage problems, helped us install a meadow garden sideways the street that neighbors halt and looking at. We experienced a grey water spillage in our downstairs lclose to midnight, a bad problem to have if you are a homeowner. The very next morning Voge was at our house to immediately assess the damage & start the emergency renovation. They brought in a handful of dehumidifiers & other machinery to dry out the damage. The next day, they removed all the carpets & drywall in multiple rooms & removed the vanity in the bathroom. They also boxed up all of our belongings in three rooms. They kept the dehumidifiers in the house for approx 6 days & every day sent an employee(s) to assess if all the wood was drying out. When the insurance adjuster visited to assess damage, Voge employees were there to answer all questions regarding the damage. They have been in constant communication with our insurer & ready to begin he renovation phase once the two sides come to a plausible resolution regarding the pricing. We discovered a water leak in our upstairs bathroom that ended up flooding our downstairs bathroom. we discovered this leak 30 minutes before our kids soccer game. We called an emergency plumber who found and fixed the leak. Michael Pina with Voge Inc. arrived with the plumbers and helped us understand what happened and what needed to happen next. Michael was very professional, knowledgeable and helped us understand what the plan moving forward would be. He was very thorough with his work and kept us informed of what was happening. He connected with our insurance adjuster and was able to provide all the information that the adjuster needed to make her determinations. It really felt like he was working for our best interest with the work quality, maximizing our insurance coverage. We are now getting a remodeled bathroom for the cost of our deductible. W would highly recommend Michael. We found him to be honest, knowledgeable, professional and a great communicator. A great experience. read more

We just finished restoring and reconstructing our home from major water damage. From the minute we got in contact with Voge we felt that we were in great hands. All the stress and pressure that comes with dealing with a restoration was lifted off our shoulders. They took care of the entire process in the most professional and sensitive fashion. They carefully removed all of our belongings from the affected areas and setup blow dryer machines to dry the areas that were damaged. They were very sensitive to our belongings in the process and made sure to be extra careful. When it came to dealing with the insurance company, Voge made sure that we would be fully compensated for all of the caused damages. The entire team was very kind and professional and got the job done. I am very satisfied with this company and would highly recommend them to not only my family and friends but anybody who has had water or fire damage done to their home. I had never done any renovation before and I was concerned about working with a contractor. I am so glad that I choose voge to remodel my kitchen and bathroom. Omar and the rest of the workers did a great work! I Appreciate their work because they paid attention to what we needed including all of our vision, ideas, thoughts and budget. Omar made sure to pull all the permits that we needed to this work and he made sure that we will pass all the inspections as well. He also made sure that all the subcontractors will do their job right and without any delays. Excellent service and good communication skills! I highly recommend them for any remodeling projects I want to update this review and wrote that this week we had a minor problem and we called Omar and told him about it....
