I highly recommend Restorez. I had a bad situation that flooded the underneath of my house with sewage. Their work was professional and efficient, and they did a fantastic job liaising with my home insurance and getting my claim paid out. Everyone I dealt with from the project supervisor to Sophia over the phone were terrific and top notch. I would use them again in a jiffy (though I hope I never find myself in that kind of situation again!) read more

What an absolute nightmare of a company to deal with. It's all great and happy if you're willing to commit insurance fraud. If you're not, expect lack of communication, any communication is a "miscommunication", and expect a hefty bill with "creative invoicing". I'm all about saving a buck but at the cost of MY premiums & integrity, no thanks. $300 for some friend plumber to create a fake report to send to insurances. INSANE. Never mind the absolute lack of care for your items when they pack them up. I had my succulent plants thrown in with all my jewelry & bathroom items. Absolutely could've and would've love to pack them up myself and put my plants outside if they listened to our request to not start on Friday and to reschedule to Monday. My partner & I were at work as their team entered my home by telling our roommate they were supposed to be there. Ask for an itemized invoice? Crickets. Try to talk about issues? Deflected to the other 3rd company parties they work with while in your house. I asked over and over for an invoice, gave my email multiple times, nothing. Just to get called 4 days before they decided to consider me late by their AR department. 17,000 in 4 days?! (Master bed) Luckily, Zach (their AR team member) was easy to work with and I was able to have an extra week to pull funds. There are so many more details - I will gladly post our text messages and videos (I have cameras in/out). ** Look at EVERYTHING they make you sign, when they hand you an iPad with only a signature window up & they say oh, that's just x document, ask to see that document first. I asked for an estimate over & over to be told they don't do those they just bill your insurance, just to find out I signed some mysterious 20,000 estimate? Absolutely not, especially when they told me it would be around $8,000 if I paid myself and not go through insurance. He explained I was signing a promise to pay if my insurance doesn't cover and a 3 days before quit contract if I change my mind. read more

Restorerz came out to my home after a leak occurred in my home. Simon was the first person who came out to assess the issue. He was helpful when it came to filing the claim with my insurance company. He placed some equipment to help with drying til they came back to cut out the affected area. The men that came out to work and check the doing process were all professional, punctual, and nice. They did recommend another company when it came to demo and rebuild which was thoughtful. Sophia is very sweet and did everything she could to make sure we were satisfied customers when the job was completed. Thank you read more

This message (2nd of 4 received) is symptomatic of my negative experience with Restorerz' ethics. Multiple attempts to coerce a 5-star Google review under the false guise of employee grading and pay. 3 before work was completed. (Google only allows one review per customer per year). Also: * Pushing for signatures on multiple-page documents on a tiny iPad or smartphone without offering a chance to review (assuming I could read them at all on tiny devices). * Not providing a copy of the work contract for review until after work started, despite their claim otherwise. * Taking nine days, and a Director escalation, to finally provide a written copy of work performed after alleged completion. Beware. read more

Restorerz Emergency Services - Text message from Restorerz - Damage Restoration Near Me - Van Nuys, California

Restorerz did an excellent job mitigating the water damage from a recent shower valve leak. They were prompt, thorough, and professional. Their customer service was top notch -- particularly Arthur, Evangelina and Anna, who went out of their way to address all my concerns. read more

Extremely overpriced. I feel horribly ripped off. I was given a not to exceed quote with a "probably less" expectation. End result was an extended fight for 10% reduction on an highly inflated cost. I really regret calling these people. read more

To be honest, our experience with the mitigation work itself was mixed. Some of our carpet was damaged during the process, and we felt more of our home was torn out than necessary. If I were rating that part alone, it would probably be a 3/5. The reason I'm leaving this review is because of Evangelina G., the Customer Success Manager. She was amazing from start to finish. She always kept us updated, answered our questions, and worked tirelessly with our insurance company when their estimate came in much lower than Restorerz's invoice. She kept advocating for us, provided the documentation they needed, and never stopped trying to reach a fair resolution. Thanks to her hard work, we didn't have to pay anything out of pocket. It's rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about helping their customers. Evangelina took an incredibly stressful situation and made us feel like someone was truly in our corner. She deserves every bit of the recognition for the outstanding service she provided. read more

Restorerz sent Jose Islas out with another gentleman to remove a wall of mirrors. I have seen mirror removal several times before. There was always a mess and shards of glass everywhere. Sometimes worse. Jose and his associate made short work of removing 5 floor to ceiling panels, two doors and several smaller panels. The majority were taken off whole. When it comes to service and professional work, Restorerz is the best. read more

Restorerz Emergency Services - Damage Restoration Near Me - Van Nuys, California

Literally a scam!! I have no idea how these guys are still in business and I will be reporting them to the BBB with proof of misconduct. It started when I felt tile lifting up in our bathroom and was worried about water damage/mold. Sales rep Darien came over to look at it and pushed HARD for us to have this go through insurance. "Trust me, trust me... you'll only pay your deductible and insurance will cover the rest. 99% this will be covered!" Well fast forward after we were told several times to lie to insurance about the source of the issue, insurance refused to pay. They hung up on Restorerz several times and told us what they were asking for was insane and completely made up. Restorerz inflated their costs significantly (we reached out to several companies for estimates on what the project should cost and it was 1/4 of the price they were asking insurance to pay) and then lied and asked us to lie to insurance on the root cause!!! They provided unnecessary services that were never agreed upon. After several weeks of insurance not even picking up Restorerz phone call and telling us this company is a scam and they've dealt with them several times.... WE got stuck with the bill and were given one week to pay!!! I Went back to Darien who told me this NEVER happens and there's nothing he can do. Wellll funny enough, after my experience I have talked to at least 4 other people who have had the same scenario happen to them. DONT TRUST THEIR POSITIVE REVIEWS!!! At this point I'm convinced there's no way they're real.... I will be telling my story on Nextdoor, Facebook, and all other platforms to unsure no one else has to pay thousands of dollars to these scam artists read more

!!BEWARE!! PLEASE READ REVIEW BEFORE WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY!! It started with a Water Leak on Labor Day Weekend, we contacted a 24/7 Plumber Immediately, AAA Paradise Plumbing & Rooter, who came and stopped the on going flow of water into our Dining Room. He then referred us to a Water Damage Mitigation Company whom he highly recommended-Restorerz Emergency Services. A Representative, Simon K, came to our Home to take pictures and asess Water Damage. He made many promises, stating that he works with Insurance Companies all the time, and that he will handle it so that we will not have to pay anything out of pocket except for our Deuctible. He stated that "he would be there every step of the way to asure everything is done correctly and that the Insurance Company will pay for everything". He promised that "he would work with us and the Insurance Company until completion, because he wouldn't get paid unless we got paid by the Insurance". It was a Desperate situation so we foolishly signed the Contract. We repeatedly expressed that "we do not have the money for this, we just moved in and are tight on Funds". To which Simon replied over and over again "TRUST ME, TRUST ME, YOU'LL PAY NOTHING OUT OF POCKET EXCEPT YOUR DEDUCTIBLE". Soon after the work was done, we received an email with the Invoice for $34, 229.93, Demanding Full Payment within 30 Days. We then received a Call from Restorerz Claims Manager, Evangelina, who proceeded to tell us that "she will work with us and the Insurance Company, to Negotiate and get the Invoice Paid". They submitted the Claim, the Insurance Company Denied it, calling it Excessive. The Insurance Comapny agreed to pay ONLY $8,871.77, leaving us to Pay the Balance nearly $20,000.00! After that, Restorerz said "they tried, nothing else we can do, we need to pay the balance in Full," leaving us only a week to get it paid. We requested more time to resolve this, which they denied. Warning us of the Collection Process, Filing Liens, etc. This left us no choice but to pay. We spoke with a Lawyer, who gave us a better insight into this Industry and Process. We were informed that "it was wrong for Restorerz to demand payment that way". He further stated that "there was no reason that they couldn't wait for payment". So when Restorerz says "Trust Me, Trust Me"- DO NOT!!!!!!! *UPDATE* Update: They contacted us to make everything right (full reimbursement) to remove this negative review but once we refused to sign another contract with them we were dropped from all communication. I was also contacted by another customer from a "local app" who was experiencing the same issue, which I gave my best advice how to move forward from my own personal experience. I just want to warn all consumers about how this company operates and if you have any questions regarding my experience, please reach out to me. read more

Restorerz Emergency Services - Damage Restoration Near Me - Van Nuys, California

I had a great experience with Restorerz Emergency Services after a water pipe failure damaged my laundry room. Artur, the project manager, was friendly, professional, and kept me informed every step of the way. Jorge did an excellent job carefully packing and organizing everything in my garage before demolition began. Juan was always punctual and thorough when checking the drying equipment. Morelia was fantastic on the administrative side and worked very hard with my insurance company to help get the restoration covered. The entire team was responsive, professional, and easy to work with during a very stressful situation. I highly recommend Restorerz Emergency Services to anyone needing water damage restoration service read more

DO NOT USE RESTORERZ!!! The bad reviews are true. You can look them up on the BBB. They're scum. They will assure you when you're most vulnerable to quickly sign a contract w them and that your insurance will for sure cover the costs. They have NO IDEA if your insurance will or will not approve the costs. They're charging me $17,000 for simply setting up dehumidifiers and checking for mold. A total joke. Hope the worst for these people. Karma will get them in the end read more

We discovered water damage in our home and Restorerz came out the same day to review the damage. They initiated the project the following day, with demo and setup done within one day. Staff was friendly and professional, and checked our place daily to monitor moisture levels. Prep was extensive, with sturdy floor coverings and plastic barriers and zippers to facilitate movement through our home. They worked with our insurance company on the project directly. (As with any contractor, always good to have insurance review the bid before signing a contract). Thanks to Artur, Zach and the Restorerz team. read more

I had extensive water damage at my home that was caused by the heavy rains. Simon K. at Restorerz arrived for a thermal imaging inspection. The tools he used to inspect the damages was best-in-class. We inspected the damages together which I thought was great and very informing. After the inspection I was recommended to take care of the water damage as soon as possible to prevent any mold growth. Simon gave us his best and most honest recommendation; we moved forward. I was truly amazed by the customer service from start to finish. read more

Extremely overpriced and a very disappointing experience. I feel completely taken advantage of. I was initially given a "not to exceed" quote with the expectation that the final cost would likely be lower. Instead, I ended up having to push hard just to get a 10% reduction on what I believe was an already inflated price. I sincerely regret choosing this company. read more

Had water leak in my property which lead to mold issues. Contacted Restorerz through my local plumber's recommendation. The mold remediation service was efficient, professional, and thorough from start to finish. The team arrived on time, clearly explained the process, and took great care to contain the affected areas to prevent further spread. They used specialized equipment to remove the mold and addressed the underlying moisture issue, which gave me confidence the problem wouldn't return. Communication was consistent throughout, and they left the space clean and safe. Overall, it was a smooth experience and well worth the investment for peace of mind. Shout out to Joel, Christobal, Javier, Mark, David, Christobal and Morelia for their help and support throughout the whole project. read more

These guys are great. Artur (pronounced Arthur) was outstanding. He was a great communicator, and advocated for us as we navigated dealing with our insurance company, our HOA, and contractors. Also Morelia, was terrific. Patient, understanding, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure her clients are treated fairly. I hope i wont need to any time soon, but if I have to, I'm calling RESTORERZ! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. This company's a scam. They assured me that everything will be taken care of by my insurance and my insurance denied 75% of their claim due to insufficient evidence. Now they are trying to come after me for over 38k!! They damaged parts of my house that were not even affected by the water damage and over demo'd parts of my house that were also not affected by water damage. Over inflated prices to scam my insurance company. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. read more

We recently had water damage in our primary bedroom resulting from a burst water pipe. The water flooded the entire bedroom, closet and dressing areas. Our plumber recommended Restorerz to help with the clean up and remediation work. We contacted them and within hours they arrived to begin cleaning, removing the wet carpet, furniture and begin drying the room. Restorerz did a great job of packing my personal belongings, protecting my furniture and storing my belongings during the Insurance Claim process. Their employees were quick to respond and maintained open communication throughout the process read more

Ended up completely satisfied with our experience with Restorerz! I'd like to especially mention supervisor Anzhela who really worked diligently to handle our claim and leave us happy! read more

Considering nobody likes to have remediation done, with Restorerz it doesn't get any better. My experience began with Simon K., the project manager for my job. Simon took his time explaining the process - which was new to me. I was quoted a price which would be the most I would have to pay - with the possibility of a rebate should the job turn out to be less than anticipated. However, while I wasn't counting on getting any money back, I was somewhat comforted that I wouldn't face a bigger bill at the end of the process. Simon's crew went right to work -- and they were great. Demolishing and carting off and disposing of water damaged debris, helping box and move things, providing wardrobe containers. Again, all included and done professionally and respectfully. And really nice guys. Tests were done, asbestos, etc. - all arranged and included in the original estimate. Again, no surprises. Simon came back to check on things, and was only a text/phone call away - and was always pleasant. A network of dehumidifiers, fans, heaters, and high-end equipment were installed where necessary - which ran 24/7. The house was then regularly checked for moisture, and when it was determined that it was safe to move back into those areas, the equipment was carefully and promptly removed. One more thing I really appreciated. Other companies border on promising that they will get your insurance company to pick up the tab and then you're surprised and angry to find out that you're not covered. Check your insurance policy and see what it really covers. Oh, and when it was time to settle up, my contract had been reevaluated and I discovered I was given a sizable rebate. read more

Requests to change or fix a problem were quickly addressed All the workers were kind and courteous and communicated with us during and after a project was completed. Thank you Restorerz! read more

WARNING: Be skeptical of the reviews for Restorez. This company came to my home for an assessment. They did no work for me. The next morning, I received the following text message: "Hi Sara, this is Artur Kasabyan with Restorerz, I need a huge favor from you please. If you can will you leave me a 5 star review that's how I get graded & paid. Unfortunately, if it's not a 5 star review it's a 0. Thanks again, I hope you have a great week :) Review us on Google: " Artur insisted that I NOT contact my insurance agency and that his company would negotiate a better deal for me vis- a- vis my insurance company. He gave me an estimate of $30,000 and told me I'd have to seal off my kitchen and put its contents in the garage for 2 months. I had estimates from two other companies. Both suggested that Restorez had exaggerated the work necessary and said they would do it for around $5,000 in 2 weeks. read more

As a first-time homebuyer, I was devastated when a major water leak hit just one month after moving in. I had no idea what to do, but calling Restorerz was the best decision I could've made. The technicians -- Eduardo, Jeronimo, Christobal, and Javier -- were on-time, respectful, and got the job done quickly without cutting corners. Within a week, everything was cleaned, dried, and ready for rebuild. The team kept things clean, organized, and stress-free the whole time. After a major water leak in our upstairs bathroom, we were overwhelmed and unsure where to start. Restorerz sent out their project manager, Simon K., and from the moment he arrived, everything changed for the better. Simon was incredibly thorough during his initial assessment, explaining what needed to be done and why, without ever talking over our heads. What really set him apart was his handling of the insurance process. He took the lead on coordinating directly with our adjuster, documenting all the damage, submitting the required reports, and following up on approvals. Because of his diligence, our claim moved forward much faster than expected, and we avoided a lot of stress. Throughout the restoration, Simon kept us updated on timelines, crew schedules, and any changes that came up. He checked in regularly, made sure the work area stayed clean, and ensured every step was completed to high standards. When a small issue came up with moisture readings, he caught it early, explained the concern, and had his team address it the same day. read more

They sounded like sweethearts before I signed with them. Then, their bid was over $11,000 over a 2nd bid I received. When I spoke ot them about it, I was told they do it on purpose as this will protect them from insurance company discounting them. The whole process was the most miserable experience I have had in over 70 years of living. No communication with me on what's happening. (the damage was at a rental of ours) Then, I keep getting unpleasant communications from them; when I was assured by their staff and my insurance company they will take care of the bill and I will not have to do anything. I have never given a vendor a bad review on anything before. This has been the worst experience ever. read more

do NOT use. This place is a scam. I would recommend reading all the 1 star reviews, as that is what you are going to get. I have missing items that were never returned. 46 out of 52 boxes were returned. I am missing the 6 boxes, a bed, and damaged items. They are very rude, they accuse you of lying and call you names. Stay far away from this business. There are other companies that care about you and your stuff. I paid them $10,000 out of $13,000 in good faith, and have yet to receive my missing items. Please read the 1* and 2* reviews as sadly, these are most in line with our final experience. We had a burst-pipe emergency and (as in other reviews) it was the plumber who recommended Restorerz to us as "a company who gets the work done well the first time". Initially we were pleased with them as on arrival the project leader sounded competent, said to leave it all to them, they knew how the insurance companies work and what to say to them, and they would make it all good for us. They were a little pushy, but it's such a relief to hear reassuring words like that in the Los Angeles area, where so many companies are scamming their clients. Things went smoothly during the demo and drying phase - we had at least 10 fans blowing for 7 days to dry out our shower pipe leak that came through the light wells below. A wall was removed, cupboards were removed. It was efficient, apart from the fact that the guys walked off with 2 of our recycle/shredder bins that they had used to collect the moisture and I was never able to get anyone to address that issue. The real problem arose when the insurance company stated that the work completed had been excessive and/or unnecessary - including a $900 lead test - and that Restorerz were basically price-gauging and unethical people. The insurance would NOT budge below a certain price on the payment amount that Restorez was charging - their ask was almost 50% higher than evaluated by the assessor. So guess who Restorerz came after? - the client. Immediately Restorerz became belligerent with us, threatening to put a lien on our home if we didn't pay the difference within a couple of days - all before we had even had any chance to negotiate with them ourselves! Basically they became bullies, which is also what other reviewers have said. We had to retain a lawyer to handle their unreasonable attitude and to do mitigation for us. Restorerz were not flexible during negotiations and basically remained bull-nosed. This seems to be their m.o. and it is something that any client needs to be aware of before employing their services - especially if you can't afford to pay a lawyer to help you sort out the situation. read more
