My professor recommended this place, so I decided to give them a try. I have been here now three times and so far I have enjoyed it. Though I usually just get the same thing: Bánh tráng cun (shrimp salad rolls), pho served with beef brisket and of course, my favourite boba tea. I love the honeydew melon, though this place makes them frozen, which is still good. Though it is much different than what you would get while in Vietnam or China. The food is good here, but not something I'd drive out for unless I was already in the area. Service is decent here as well. If you want excellent Vietnamese food and live near by, visit Doraville or Duluth, but while in Morrow, you will enjoy VN for sure. read more

I ordered the chicken pho to go for a change I normally order in and have no problem. The bag was tied so tight I couldn't check the order. I arrive at home and checked it and thought the broth looked dark. The broth tasted like beef. I called and advised them that I think I got the wrong order. He informed me that they only use beef broth for all pho orders. I haven't eaten beef in 3 years. I have been here several time before and the broth never tasted like beef. It's usually wonderful. Been to this place twice for lunch and both times it was crowded. However, this place can accommodate a good bit of people though it looks small from the outside. This is not the best pho I've ever had, but it's not the worst either. The broth was not deep, rich and flavorful like at my favorite pho restaurants in Gwinnett County, but it still hit the spot and was satisfying. What I like about this place is that they have so many options all at the same price. No lower or higher prices based on combinations of meats you choose for your pho. They are also generous with the culantro, Thai basil, etc when you ask... they don't just bring one extra leaf like I've experienced at other restaurants. The service is also really good. What I don't like is that my spring rolls aren't fried fresh. They are definitely sitting waiting to be served. I always order spring rolls with pho. At this place as soon as I order them, they comes out 1 minute later...and they are not hot. Also, I like extra onion in my pho and I have always gotten white onions. This place gives red onions. Not really a bad thing, just not if you're used to seeing white onions which I think provides a different flavor and crunch. This is just a preference. Lastly, the bathrooms could be cleaner. It always smells bad. They have one of those hand dryers and though they have a paper towel machine, no paper towel. This place is way more convenient, to the other place I prefer, as it is right off the highway. My gripes are still the same. They don't clear your table when you are done and you have to go to the counter to pay your bill. This time I had a small #15 and it is the size of a child's bowl, and the portion size has gone down as well. There were hardly any noodles in there! And my bean sprouts were NOT fresh at all. Seems as though the cost of the new fancy menu and the tiled counter need to be paid for by shrinking the bowls and thus the meal size. I thought I was really in Vietnam with how small it was! I am so happy I found somewhere to get Pho in Clayton County! This place is a hidden gem (even though it's on a busy stretch, I've clearly been overlooking it for a while now). I stopped in for a lunch visit! I order the shrimp spring roll and the shrimp Pho. The Pho comes in three different sizes. I got the small and ended up taking much of it home. The portion sizes are awesome! The shrimp spring too wasn't my favorite and I don't think I'll order it again. The "spring roll" was just shrimp (no other ingredients). I was expecting a little more than that. Her are a few a few more specifics about my visit: Parking - There is ample parking in the shopping center lot where this restaurant is located. The parking area surrounding the restaurant was pretty full because it was lunch time. Ambiance- The ambiance and is casual. The outside of the restaurant looks completely different from the inside. The interior is nice and I would describe it as clean and modern-ish. Honestly, it felt like I wasn't even in Clayton County lol! Service - When we initially walked in, we were asked how many were in our party and seated in a both by someone at the door. Menus and waters were delivered to our table. We just moved to Atlanta and wanna try many Vietnamese restaurants as I could. The restaurant is very clean and has alot of space. It is a plus. They have Vietnamese music too. The server came quickly, gave you water, took the order, then brought out the food quickly. I had Chao Long (pork intestine porridge), large portion, side vegetables and ginger dipping sauce. Not bad at all. My husband had Beef Pho. What is the best part of Pho. The broth. And in my opinion, it is not that good. I score it 3/5. I would be back again and try other foods. read more

We pulled off I-75 through Georgia to get gas, and I saw cars pulling up into the parking lot of this sideways building in an out lot set back off the road. No sign could be seen from the street. After getting gas, I drove up a little to see where all the traffic was going. We were so happy to see it was pho! One of our favorite foods! We decided to eat lunch early and weren't disappointed. We were quickly seated, served water quickly, and our orders taken quickly. The place kept a steady flow of customers, and food arrived quickly to every table. Our food was delicious. You can choose any type of meat or your choice: chicken, seafood or steak. Either one is very good with the soup. The food comes out in no time. There is literally no long waits or delays. Alright. I was already a fan. Now I'm loyal. I had to make a impromptu run to ATL and pick up folks from a flight. As the Bestie to meet me with Pho. I drove back home with it. Ordered the eye of round pho, #1, and the pork and shrimp spring rolls. This is our second time visiting. The pork and shrimp spring rolls were good but falling apart after a couple bites. I like the flavor of them better than some other places I have tried. The pho was good, I really like their broth here because I don't have to add much to it. The only really downfall with this place today was service, we got our food very quickly but no one came to check on us or anything once our food was delivered. We sat around waiting for a check and no one brought it. Last time we went someone brought our check to us. I haven't visit here in awhile because of its inconsistent flavor with food. Today was one of those day. I ordered two Bun Bo Hue, Shaking Beef Rice and spring rolls To-GO. First it was less than 10 small pieces of beef steaks. The spring roll was rolled into different sizes for all 6. They're also very expensive. 2 for $4 something for their size and amount. The bun bo hue broth was so plain (I had to end up adding more ingredients myself at home). There was like very little veggies basil leaf but a whole bunch of purple cabbage. I did not even finish my bowl and end up throwing it away. Very huge disappointment. I don't think I will be returning back anytime soon. I'm liking this place. And I'm very glad we have a good Vietnamese restaurant like this on the south-side. The prices are right, and they seem to have a very diverse clientele. But first, I must say to you: If you have misophonia, you shouldn't be hanging around me when I'm eating pho. Because I am slurping it up. And I'm not ashamed to be slurping it up. It's how I was taught to eat it. And that's what I ordered this last time: Pho Dac Biet (a beef broth soup with Rare Steak, Well Done Flank, Brisket, Tendon, and Tripe). It was good, though I like it more when the tendon is shaved and not chunky. The Bahn Mi also looks tasty, and the spring rolls are yummy. PLUS, they also have some bubble drinks, but they seem to be the pre-packaged frozen variety, and not real milk teas that are truly "bubble teas." Still, I'm a fan of tapioca, and I enjoy what they serve here. You have to go to the counter to pay your bill. I don't really have a problem with that. It just seems horribly inefficient to me.
