Customer service is nice, staff was respectful and quick. The real issue was the food. I got a classic beef pho and I think they gave me an old bowl. The noodles were breaking apart and the beef was already cooked. It was a good soup but the weird noodles ruined it. My friend ordered a shrimp fried rice and the rice was sweet. And the side of soup they gave him was sweet. So bizarre. Paid $40 for these two dishes and we didn't enjoy either of them, very sad. read more

It'll do...it's not a miss, but it's not a hit either. I'm spoiled and Chamblee/Duluth/Doraville are to blame! Broth is darker in color and more than likely has been brought along with a base paste/powder. Which I get...most people down this way aren't going to know the difference or care. It's missing the depth of flavor that you come to love and expect. Their portions are on the small side-their large is more like a medium. Unfortunately, this pho was the worse pho that I've ever had. The noodles were chopped, making it difficult to grab a decent amount of noodles with chopsticks at once. The broth was the most flavorless broth that I've ever tasted. At better pho diners, the broth has flavor and doesn't require you to have to add anything (unless you want to). The bahn mini pancakes also had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. This was extremely unexpected. I wasted my pho and the bahn mini pancakes. The others who went with me got rice dishes and said that they were delicious, so that's cool. The drinks and smoothies were good. The ambience was that of a typical pho diner, and the service was great. We've been to Pho Town a few times now and I'm finally ready to post a review. The restaurant is nice with a relaxed modern feel and look. Service is more than adequate and I see the same servers every time. Their food is not authentic Vietnamese and is geared more to an American palette. That said, I haven't ever tasted anything that's bad. Be sure to try the Fresh Spring Rolls and the Shrimp Fried Rice. An off-menu item you cannot go wrong with is their Banh Mi Bo Kho. Their version of this Vietnamese classic is truly excellent. Go in, eat outdoors when the weather permits (great sky gazing spot), find your favourites and enjoy. We shall return. read more

The service is awesome here. The food comes out quick. The inside is nice like a small deli. I really liked that they gave you options for making your own bowl of phó. Sometimes I want something different than what's on the menu. Other locations I have been charged for adding what I wanted. This one you pick what you want, or they give you what is traditionally available. The broth was nice, fresh, and just right. I want to make the broth how I want it. The eggrolls were great as well. I'm sorry for the 3 stars but I have tried several times with different dishes. Pho does not have the typical Pho's smell and taste. It's not as good as other restaurants. I tried Bo Kho twice, once was messed up a bit for my husband because the broth was still warm but the beef was still cold in the center (it was resolved, of course). The second time was salty. The BBQ pork of Com Tam Dac Biet was hard, not juicy as it should be, and the color was not browny burned. The shrimp fried rice was a bit too sweet. The spring rolls could have been better if they'd added chives and/or beefsteak plant. The wings are the most disappointing, except for the garlic. I love the crispy skin though. The taste was boring because I barely tasted the typical strong fish sauce. I understand it might be made neutrally for their guests but it's not the good Vietnamese wings that I've tried. It's not too bad, as the area does not have other Vietnamese cuisine restaurant nearby, but I can have better quality dishes with the same price at other places. The pho broth tasted very clean (compared to having a strong MSG/artificial taste), which already pushes this place above most places I've tried. This is NOT authentic Pho!!! I took my wife and son here for dinner. The service??? Nonexistent!!! They obviously are more interested in catering to their Grubhub orders than they are to their dining room customers. Myself and my son both had to get up to get water for our table. I had to wave me hands in the air to get someone's attention, after 20 minutes to take our order. They are all masters at avoiding eye contact with their customers!!! God forbid if you might want to order something!!! The food: We ordered pork and shrimp egg rolls and each of us ordered a bowl of Pho. The spring rolls: The pork was literally nonexistent. With three shrimp. Mostly lettuce and, the lettuce was brown!!! The Pho: The eye of round was next to nothing. We were joking as we counted the pieces. Mine had five small strips with half of a meatball. My wife had seven pieces of eye of round. $5 bucks for extra meat, (yeah right)!!! Here's the worst part...the broth. I've worked with the Vietnamese for many years and have been schooled on what makes a great bowl of Pho. Grease in an authentic bowl is almost nonexistent. This stuff had a layer of grease floating on top about 1/8" thick. I tried to remove the layer with about 6 napkins. It helped but I could scrape the grease off of my tongue after every bite. They are less than five minutes from our house and we will not be back!!! If you want authentic Pho, head 20 minutes north to Jonesboro road Forest Park Georgia. read more

This is the worst pho I have ever had! I ordered a large pho which basically consisted of all noodles, they only gave a very few pieces of meat , that was $5 per serving and the broth was tasteless.. Usually at most Pho restaurants they give you quit a bit of vegetables to mix in the soup , not here , I ordered a large they gave me only a few pieces of bean sprouts and one piece of cilantro. First time coming to this restaurant, I had saw all the previous comments about this place. What really sold me was the oxtail pho. I called up to place my order. I got two oxtail pho with an egg roll. In my honest opinion, the pho was packed with flavor, the tails were pretty small and didn't have that much flavor to it. I am assuming it lacks flavor because of the broth and other toppings for the pho. They gave me enough food for left overs and the food was ready once I stepped into the door. I didn't eat the egg roll. When I got the egg roll, it wasn't hot at all, which probably meant it had been cooked a while ago. Overall, my food was very good and had some for seconds. read more

I would like to start by saying I don't like to give bad reviews. My kids and I went to Southern Bell Farm to pick strawberries and they wanted to try some pho. So this was the closest restaurant that we find that looks good and had good reviews. we helped ourselves because the guys that worked there was a little busy and then they came with the menu and asked us if we wanted anything to drink we all got Thai tea, which was pretty good. We ordered food., I got the chicken 6 wings with fried rice and both of my daughters got chicken pho and a chicken fried rice for the kids. The only thing that was good was the chicken fried rice, the wings smelled spoiled. The manager said it was the fish sauce they use and American people don't understand the smell and the taste so if you know this, I feel like you should give all people that don't look Asian heads up warning so we will make up our mind before ordering the food. I asked them to switch it out because I am not going to eat it, and it smell, spoiled and taste funny I took one bite that was it, and he gave us a hard time, but he did eventually and he tried to charge me for both meals when they were both the same price. I asked him. Why couldn't he just switch it out a little back-and-forth he finally did. The pho soup was not good. It's chicken broth with about 4 pieces of shredded chicken, it was $112 wasted I could've bought McDonald's, but we felt like we needed to sit down and eat but that didn't work out as planned, I don't recommend this restaurant it's not worth your money. in my opinion. read more

Another great addition to McDonough. I came here with family to try something new. The staff was very polite and friendly. I ordered the veggie pho. It was good. The broth wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped but it was still enjoyable. I really enjoyed the shrimp roll, ($3 for 2). The peanut sauce made it even more enjoyable. I requested mine without the pork. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives in the area and would like to try Pho. The staff was friendly, restaurant was clean, and the prices are very reasonable. read more

I had such a wonderful experience here. I decided to try pho and I'm happy I chose this location. From the moment I walked in, until the time I left I was treated so well. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. I was sat at a clean and sanitized table and promptly given a menu to order from. I chose a large bowl of pho and some spring rolls. Let me tell you....... It did NOT disappoint . The broth was flavorful, the meat was delicious and tender, and everything came out so quickly! I don't even think I waited ten minutes before getting my food. The spring rolls were by far, the best part. I love spring rolls so much and I'm happy I found a place that makes pretty addicting ones. That peanut sauce was amazing as well. It tasted homemade and my tastebuds were basically jumping for joy. I also had a delicious boba tea ! I loooooove boba tea, especially when it's nice and sweet. It was perfectly sweet. I don't know if God knew I needed a pick me up that day or what, but everything was just so perfect from the customer service and every single part of my meal.
