The first couple of times I went, service was great. The last two times? Terrible. If I'm paying $70 for a gel pedicure, ask me what I want. They didn't give me a menu to select the service, nor did they ask. So, no scrub no hot rocks just lotion..and I wasn't going to speak up to spend more money at that point either. This last time, my nails were so crooked and I told him. He didn't make it better so I fixed it when I got home. Trying to find a quick spot to pop in for a pedicure. I usually try to go for the ones that offer beverages if you know what I mean and of course hot stones! I went with the Deluxe Pedicure w/ Gel Added. This pedicure comes with a hot neck wrap, beverage, hotstones all my favorites. Charlie was so attentive he noticed my water had a chill he brought a container and dumped half and added in hotter water. Tipped in cash but that's normally the route I go. if I could leave zero stars I would. I have been to this nail place 5 or 6 times in the past. While it is not fancy or a lux place, the service was 3 star worthy. average. today, however, was a whole other situation! there is a chalkboard sign out in front the salon. it states th there is a "happy hour" each Monday through Thursday from 10am to 2pm. During "happy hours" there is a 15% discount if you pay with cash. The man who gave me a basic pedicure took the cash for my pedicure and my mother's pedicure. She gave him $80.00 for a $72.00 bill. He gave us back the change without the 15% discount. He then argued with me an I loudly objected. long story short, another employee made sure we got the correct change. I told them we would never be back. They want you to pay with cash so they can put it all in their pockets. Thats all fine and good, just DO NOT RIP OFF THE CUSTOMER! Lesson learned. I tried numerous times to tell him I didn't like my nails. He rushed the whole process and even cut my finger. He was so rough. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt because hey people have days but I don't think I'm coming back. The experience was horrible to be honest. Wouldn't recommend. I asked for my acrylics to be a little past the skin of my finger and to be rounded on the sides but flat on top - squoval - she then shaped them all differently.. literally none match. I then asked for an ombré *nude on the bottom green on top* she laughed at me and showed the guy.. who wasn't very friendly to begin with, he laughed as well and they talked. She then told me something I couldn't quite understand and then suggested I get sliver glitter and green ombré and that the nude wouldn't look right. I said no it's okay I'll just get green. At the end of it all this is what I spent $55 on.. it's the worst manicure/acrylics I've ever had which really bummed me out because I haven't had my nails done in over a year. read more

This place missed the mark in several areas. First, when I walked in everyone working there was on their phone and looked annoyed that I had walked in. It took a good minute to be acknowledged and I was certainly not made to feel welcome as a paying customer. Secondly, it was super dirty - when I sat at my station, there were clippings from the previous customer still there, on the towel, and the station looked like it had not been wiped down in ages - crusted with dust. The guy doing my nails brought me out a small plate full of stale cheese, old fruit, and pretzels which was not what I'd expect in an environment where finger nail dust and chemicals are constantly flying around in the air. No thanks. He also did not smile once and set the plate in front of me as if I were a child that just got in trouble and yelled at. Third, the guy doing my nails was super rough and was filing the skin of my fingers along with my nails with the super abrasive emery board meant to get gel polish off. Finally, my requests and instructions were not followed at all. I had to get him to even out 4 of my nails which he filed at a crooked angle, and left some nails WAY longer than the others. I also asked that he go all the way down to my cuticle with the color which he did not do (HUGE pet peeve of mine) and he also did a sloppy job full of bubbles and over run polish. The only silver lining is that after I posted this review the owner got in touch with me and gave me my money back and offered to redo my nails which was a step in the right direction. I decided not to take him up on the offer because the quality of the nail polish is poor. I had chips in the gel 2 days after getting my nails done and the polish itself was odd - it looked different under natural light and inside light. The gel polish also moved around like elastic on my thumb nail, which I've never experienced before. read more

Overall, it was a really poor experience. I made an appointment for 9 am and no one helped us until 10:30. The man did my nails in under 20 minutes and for a gel manicure, they charged more than normal. It is 5 days later and my nails are already chipping. Sadly, I will never be returning, and I recommend you save your money and go elsewhere, somewhere that might actually care about your time and money. read more

The place is clean and they are definitely following the covid protocol. I don't make appointments, even though I should, but they are always friendly and remember me and get it right! read more

I ran into a woman in Xfinity and complimented her pedicure and she told me it was done at Vivi Nails. Since it's close to our home now I called and made a reservation to get pedicure and an acrylic fill. When I got there I was taken right away to a stall and a man started on my nails. He was quick and did my fill fast, then moved me to pedicure chair. The guy that did my pedicure was nice and the work was decent. Things were going ok until I got my nails painted; the woman doing my gel was rushing and I think she missed some steps because my nails felt sticky, like they were not dried thoroughly or the top coat was not applied. When I left the salon and went home, I was taking my shoes off and my toes smudged, my feet were still not dry. Then, my nails started chipping so I went back to the salon to get them fixed. When I got there, they could not find white polish used on my nails so I had different color nails. I tried again on a different day to get another fill and pedicure, because I was chasing a dream...and again it was a failure. I wanted to support but I can't. The shop is under new ownership and is now Vivi Nails. I liked Susan and felt she did a great job. John called himself fixing my nails; but didn't listen to me. My coffin nails almost became stiletto nails, he had a negative attitude, and repeatedly complained about me "always changing my mind" when I didn't like his design. Went to check out Vivi nails and I was highly dissatisfied. Asked for pedicure and had to wait 10 min before I was asked back to a chair. The salon was pretty much empty bit I still sat for about 30 min before they started. I was greeted by a young lady who spoke very good English. She asked me if I wanted a regular ped or deluxe, I chose deluxe--my mistake. The service for deluxe is useless, she didn't even use a brush to clean my toes, nor buffer. Ped lasted about 15 min. I was so disappointed. She polished my toes without any too coat. The French was horrific, I didn't even dry them I paid and left. Never again...stay away from this place. read more

This is now Vi Vi Nails. Usually go to Ruby Nails. Whom by the way is the "New Management" of Vi Vi Nails. They completely ruined my nails. Put acetone polish on my tips with the foil wrap. Told the guy that was not the norm for my nails, he did not listen. So, when they unwrapped them all my nails were soft and peeling off. Then it was decided I had to have a whole new set which I didn't need when I went in. Did I have to pay for that YOU BET!! On top of that SIX of my fingers had file burns. Did anyone apologize, NO. I will never go back to Vi Vi or Ruby. I will also make sure my two daughters and their friends do not go back. read more
