I was appalled how I was treated my the owner / manager
NHI. She hates telling you her name when you walk up to the counter . I would always go in with my girlfriend to get a pedicure and we always had to wait or not really get a pedicure together. Which was the whole idea for making a appointment to get a pedicure together. I will say most of the people there a very nice. I had start trying to develop a relationship with Deon. He always took his time doing your nails and he did a great job. I had no problem waiting and I never said anything about it. I will say after getting my nails done December 28, One nail polish started chipping a little bit. None of us ladies like to get our nails done and one finger chips, we want to fix it because that's the whole reason we pay for the service. I am the one that was inconvenienced and had to come there around their schedule. I also work. Now the policy is if your nail polish chips or you need to come back in before five days. Now I called a couple days later to tell them that my one nail polish was coming off .
When I called it was before New Year's day and they were not gonna be open on New Year's Day that Saturday and Sunday. They made it very clear I had to come by 6 o'clock that day to get the nail polish.
Lexi answer the phone. I coukd not bear her name because she was probably wearing a mask. And it seemed that she got an attitude because of that. No I don't know why this is really was a big issue with them. Not done intentionally.
Went back to the salon before six about 530 on the 30 th . The manager comes up Name NHI and the way she was talking to me , stop me from signing in.
She always seems to have some kind of problem with me . I could feel the pleasantness. She said I'm not checking in and I do check in and and because I didn't say Lexi name correctly. Number three she was talking to me loud that everyone can hear the conversation. I will say I was very put off by that and I did ask her to Lower her voice. She would not so both of us got into a disagreement about something that was minuscule.
I have never in my 20 years of getting my nails done been treated this way. She told me matter-of-factly that I have to wait 30 minutes. And she alluded to the fact that she didn't know when she could get to me.
I said I feel that you guys don't really care about customer service.
She also told me that I do not hold my hand correctly in the lamp for it to dry. Now she doesn't even do my nails, so I guess she was talking about me to the other technicians.
She was pretty much telling me things she did not like about me .
I have arthritis in my hand and if I don't lay my hand flat all the way because of my arthritis. I didn't think I had to explain that and I never thought it was a big issue because, I have gotten gel and pink and white for many years and never had an issue. The only reason I was going to start go on there is because my nail technician sold her business during the pandemic.
They also proceeded to tell me that whenever I come in and I have to wait , never was it a problem . But I will say I have to wait every time. But I did not complain.
Now I've never said anything about not waiting. So that's her problem. She is not professional and yes she probably only cares about the people that she likes.
She refused to polish my nail. After I paid over $60 plus $10 tip and I was treated that way for one now. I've spent over 250 at that nail salon.during the holidays have never gotten six dollars off .
I just look for a place where everyone's going to be nice and they care about their customer. Number two if I have a problem with a nail that they don't mind fixing it.
If you don't want my business you should have said so when I was spending all that money.
I never treat anyone in that establishment rudely . I treat you the way you treat me.
She said she was the owner and the manager and she was not gonna do my nail and not giving me any money back.
Well , I feel really sorry for her.
Someone's going to come in there and she's going to treat them bad and it's just gonna come back to hurt her business .
And I know a lot of people go there but this place only has 2 1/2 stars , so I'm not surprised that this happened based on what I have read.
So she will lose my business my friends business and my daughters business.
And keep going the rate you were going and you will lose more people. There's too many Salons out there that I have to rely on someone like her banding me from her salon.
I feel I was discriminated against and I don't know why she chose to treat me that way.
I am only sorry that Deon has to lose my business .
Thank you Deon for doing a great job on my nails.
I think people have to realize things have changed since Covid .It seems to be more about them,
than the customer. I'm gonna post a picture of my one nail she could not fix.
It's really sad that this is the way they do business at Viva nails . read more
