I can't believe that after visiting Vito's and moving away from Phoenix, I still crave their deep dish. Thick, saucy and cheesy their deep dish is amazing! A little hole in the wall off of Northern, Vito's is worth the drive if you are anywhere in the Valley. Call ahead for to go, pop in the oven to keep it piping hot and you're set for a deep dish treat.

Medium Ham and Sausage Deep Dish Pizza

Best deep dish pizza hands down in AZ!!! The onwer Nick is a great guy from Chicago so you know its authentic. Obviously the deep dish is what you should try but he does offer thin crust as well. The wings are great and the mozzeralle sticks have a good taste to them. And the fact that you can B.Y.O.B. is awesome!! Definitely check this place out!!!

So I'm not really sure how to rate Vito's for various reasons. First, the girl who answered the phone and took my order was extremely pleasant. Ordering was a breeze and we were told it'd probably take about 45 minutes for one medium deep dish with pepperoni and sausage, 10 mild wings, two extra ranch. Order was ready as promised and the pizza was still warm the short drive home. Now it's been about 20 years since I've had Chicago style pizza and I wasn't a fan then, but tastes change. A medium easily feed my family of three with substantial leftovers. Sauce was flavorful but reminded me of spaghetti sauce and there was lots of it. Pepperoni and sausage in every bite, good amount of cheese which seemed like good quality. Wings pretty good sized with a decent mild sauce. Nothing special here, just an average chicken wing you can get at any local pizza joint. If, a big if I was a fan of Chicago style (which I'm still not, New York style all the way for me) my review would be 5 stars. Vito's was a great take-out experience for us. Good pizza and wings just not our style. If I ordered again I'd probably ask for easy sauce or try the thin crust. It is a little on the pricey side but the medium easily could have fed 5 people with average appetites, maybe even 6. We all only ate 1 slice each. Give this local joint a try. If you like deep dish Chicago style you will love it! If eating in it's BYOB!

Hands down THE BEST Chicago Deep Dish West of Chicago (and I was born there.. raised in the Midwest and moved to Phoenix a little over a year ago). Their pizza has NEVER disappointed me each and every time I order after a long stressful day and I want to treat myself to a great pie and a Netflix marathon

My boyfriend and I split the Garlic Pesto Turkey sandwich, and I can honestly say it was the best sourdough sandwich I've ever had. The bread is everything you want from fresh sourdough soft on the inside, just the right chew, and that perfect tang. The turkey was super flavorful, and the pesto and sauces were next level. Every bite felt so well balanced rich, fresh, and totally satisfying. We also grabbed a white macadamia cookie, and it was the cherry on top. Soft, buttery, and perfectly sweet seriously one of the best cookies I've had in a while. On top of the amazing food, the customer service was incredible. The girls working were so friendly and made us feel genuinely welcome. The space is small but super cute and cozy clean, inviting, and great for a casual meal. I really wish I lived closer because I'd be here all the time (probably too often that bread is dangerously good ). If you're nearby or even just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop in. This place is a gem. Highly recommend!

My friend had the George's Special (Ham, Capicolla, Salami, Mortadella, Pepperoni, Provolone, and Hot Peppers or Sweet Peppers). The consensus was unanimous. The bread is great. The meat was too! I know some of you are uneducated about the quality of a meatball sandwich & that's ok, I'm not judging so do not be offended. To begin... This is a neighborhood place just like back east , nestled in a neighborhood on the corner hidden from the strip mall garbage. When you come here, and you better, do not be distracted by the path to tasty food. It is in an older neighborhood with minimal parking but fantastic personalities, service & FOOD! Upon entry it's a time warp for us who grew up in a time that was better. This is a good Olde Fashion deli that sells great food with amazing service. Franks is a family place. Back to the real topic... Meatball Sandwich; when you ask what is the cheese that use & the owner is educated on quality be states "Provolone on the bottom, Mozzarella on top" just know you're in the right place! The flavor is top notch, added some cherry peppers to spice it up just right, bell peppers & onions are standard. Took it to go, drove about 20 minutes to where I needed to be, the aroma was teasing me, the concern of the sandwich being cold or soggy rang in my mind while driving the 17 to the 10.. I was nervous, anxious & salivating.... Opening the togo container to see the glorious sandwich! The meatballs are still hot, the sauce is holding place & the bread is still bread, not some soggy remnant of dough! Thank you for the pride, quality & tasty sandwich.

But I was genuinely surprised by how great the entire experience turned out to be. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. The owner even came by our table to talk with us about the restaurant, their values, and the care they put into making everything from scratch. That personal touch, along with a complimentary dessert, really made the experience memorable. The food was outstanding. The chicharrones were perfectly crunchy and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. The salsa tasted incredibly fresh and paired well with everything on the table. The carne asada was cooked beautifully, developing a flavorful crust from the Maillard reaction, which gave it that rich, savory, slightly crisp exterior while keeping the inside tender and juicy.
