Found this Gem in downtown Bountiful for lunch. Got to meet the owner Neal and for what it is worth..... he made me want to come back. Yes, there was a line to the door and yes he was handling all the orders from getting the orders, cooking the food and prepping it to go out the door. Vito is a steak cooking MACHINE!! Fastest cheese steak in Utah. Full speed spatula work makes this guy a master. His enthusiasm reminds me of Spongebob cooking up Krabby Patties at the Krusty Crab. What a personable guy too. We were celebrating my birthday Philly style and he was sweet enough to give me a rice crispy treat. I can see why he is the "King of Philly in Bountiful." Sampled the Italian Sausage with Peppers and Onions, Meatball Sub, and the Classic Philly. All the sandwiches were filled with the goods, but I declare the Italian Sausage the winner. I wish that Vito had a better bread for these sandwiches. It's always the limiting factor for a steak sandwich to measure up to Philly standards. The bread was a bit dense, chewy and thick. What you need is crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. I tried the Jalapeno sauce and dipped my chips and sandwich in it. It was a ranch-like base with a good jalapeno spice too it. I hate that Utah has corrupted me into a dipper. Nobody in Philly uses this on their sandwiches. I was hopping for some hot peppers, like the red diced ones you get to spread on the sandwiches in Philly. But this will do. You kinda need a dip for the bread heavy sandwich. This place is truly phenomenal. They got the Philly cheese steak DOWN. They do not even mess around with grabbing cash from you they take your order have you place your money into a little hole or a basket depending on denomination. I loveeeeee the jalapeño Philly especially when I get some of their jalapeño sauce to go with it. If I'm ever going to get a cheese steak it will for sure be this place. Best philly in Utah by far. I get the Chicken Alfredo Philly it's a philly with grilled chicken, peppers, onions and Alfredo sauce poured on top. It's a messy meal, but I've never left unsatisfied! Vito is super cool and does basically everything himself. He used to be a food truck, but now he has a building on Main Street. Tip: Vito only accepts cash and trusts in the honor system. He has an ATM, but there's a fee so it's better to just have cash on hand. read more

You can get 7" or 14" and it comes with chips and a drink. They have tea! If it's your first time and you can't decide, I recommend the Cream Cheese Philly. I hesitated to review this place, because I love it so much. It's one of those where I'd hate to see it get overcrowded, but honestly it deserves all the success and implications that could bring. Please don't take this in a hipsterish way - we've been loving Vito's since he was in a trailer by the Bountiful Tabernacle. He's modified his menu (the pan seared ravioli was wonderful and will be missed), but it's always great. I love the fact that he runs out of things as lunch time progresses. It might be a little frustrating, but it's also charming, and it lets you know it's not Subway. Bring cash. Be your own cashier. Be sure to try the jalapeño sauce. Above all get there early.
