Oaxacana Bowl
Dee M.

This is a beautiful restaurant with some of the best staff and owners. We went in on a weekend because we've been meaning to try them out, but they were supposed to be closed for staff training and menu trials. The folks at the restaurant were extremely sweet to entertain us on their day off. They recommended some of their bestsellers to us to try including their Chicken avocado wrap, Oaxacana bowl, Bahn Mi sandwich and their lattes. Everything on the menu was fresh, hot and thoughtfully made. The portions were also great and their service was so quick. We will be back soon to try the rest of the menu. If there's one restaurant in Seattle that you must visit no matter the time of day, it's this one. I assure you their menu has something for every pallette and their meals are super healthy. They are also very accommodating of any requests or dietary restrictions.

Crunchy cabbage tofu bowl (after I'd already poured the dressing on)

Very tasty! Been wanting to try this new spot in Fremont for a while and was not disappointed. They have a huge menu of bowls, sandwiches, smoothies, coffees, and more. I got the cabbage crunch bowl which was very delicious, packed with tofu, cashews, and fresh veggies. I also got a tasty smoothie and my husband enjoyed his avocado toast. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu. Staff was very helpful and friendly as well. If you're in the Fremont area and are looking for a fresh and healthy vegan meal, definitely give this place a try!

Oshi Salmon Fillet, Broccolini, Mashed Potatoes, & Savory Brown Butter Herb Sauce + Sweet Chili Thai sauce!

I've been eating at Vital for about a year & they are hands-down my favorite vegan restaurant!! Their menu has always been competitive and top tier among vegan restaurants, and it just keeps getting better as they are always refining and adding new dishes. The plant-based substitutions are unmatched in flavor & texture--and I tried the Oshi Salmon Fillet for the first time tonight--it is SO delicious, I'm OBSESSED!!!! P.S. I drive all the way from Puyallup to come here, totally worth it!

Chili cheese dog

My husband and I went in as an impromptu date night and we are so glad we did! We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and chili cheese dog with Cajun fries. Both dishes were amazing and really hit the spot. Service was exceptional as well. Thank you for the great experience. We will be back!

Smash burger and spicy chicken burger

The location is tucked away and a bit hard to find if you're not looking. The bathroom is upstairs in a shared area and has a door code fyi. The food here is good. I had the spicy chicken burger and the smash burger. They were both good, I think I liked the spicy chicken better. Whichever one is on the left in the photo had more flavor. They were both very messy so be prepared to wash your hands after! The staff were friendly and helpful and gave recommendations when asked. She also preemptively saw I was lost looking for the bathroom and directed me to the right place. I'd definitely go back and try more food!

Build your own bowl, with quinoa, chorizo, black beans and veggies

All-vegan cafe that just opened 3 weeks ago, with an expansive menu that'll make it difficult to choose from. They specialize in breakfast, bowls, burgers, wraps, and have plenty of coffee drinks of course. I ordered a create-your-own-bowl ($18) that comes with a choice of brown rice or quinoa as a base, mixed greens, choice of protein (I got chorizo sausage), and veggies of your choice. The bowl came out in less than 10 minutes. The portion was generous, with tons of quinoa, chorizo, veggies, and greens (not pictured, but on the side), with a nice side of sauces I asked for. Very satisfying. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the place itself is quite homey and comfortable. Great new vegan addition to the Fremont neighbourhood. Recommended for a breakfast/brunch/lunch spot.

best kept seattle vegan secret! My wife and I pride ourselves on knowing every vegan restaurant in Seattle, and let me tell you, this place is a hidden treasure! You know those days when you crave something tasty but don't want to bloat your arteries with deep-fried goodness? And you're also not in the mood for a salad? This spot hits the perfect middle ground. We've been here three times, each time trying something different, and each dish has been a home run! The food is flavorful, satisfying, and healthy--exactly what we need. One of our visits was on a rainy Seattle day (ha ha), and this place was like a cozy haven, offering comfort without the guilt. Seattle definitely needs to cut back on the greasy spoon vibe (like PDX), and this restaurant is a breath of fresh air in the vegan scene. Plus, it's fun to walk in and be greeted by cheerful staff who seem genuinely excited about what they're serving. Wishing you lots of success because Seattle deserves more spots like this. We'll definitely be back for more, ready to explore the menu further and enjoy every bite!

Everyone enjoyed their food, with very relaxed and friendly service by one of the owners.

The menu is amazing i saw a mix of different cuisine asian, mexican, thai and american but as per the price the quality and the taste is not at all good. All the things i ordered was pretty bland no flavour i think this menu is design for super health conscious people or the one who is on diet. I asked for still bottle water and they don't have it the most basic beverage they don't have :/ ordered crispy cauliflower but the batter did not have any flavour or seasoning i had to add salt on top as they give me the option to get buffalo sauce on side, tacos were ok nothing much special. Got asain bowl for my gf she took two bites and couldn't finish as there were no flavour while we were so hungry after 8hrs of flight . All silverware and tissue is a self service i don't even know for what reason all these type of restaurant ask for tips when its a self service except the one who prepares the food for you and i'm sure they get paid by owners ! I still left 20% tip for order taker to put the food on the table after that they never checked how was the food or anything since you pay upfront so cannot do anything about. Even the burger i ordered does not come with fries even after paying so much for a burger. I would not recommend this place as i would rather go to other restaurant and i can pay same amout where i get atleast tap water or cutlery.

It ended up being so tasty that I came here twice within a few days. The first visit, I got veggie tempura appetizer and chirashi rice bowl. A bit on the pricier side, I still wanted to give it a try. The veggie tempura are actually not separate pieces of vegetables in tempura, but kakiage (shredded veggies fried together) - still pretty good though. The chirashi rice bowl was fantastic - beautiful presentation as the fish came on the side, pretty fresh, and I appreciated the small details, like the wasabi stem inside the scallop and the shiso leaf/sprouts that accompanied the dish. The service was fantastic as well, considering I had a table for one during lunch hour. My second visit I was on the go, so I got the Classic sushi burrito, which again was maybe a little pricier than I would like, but it was worth it. Rice, fish/poke, crab mix, cucumber, avocado - it all mixed nicely wrapped within the rice paper outside, and was convenient to eat for takeout. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you're around the area and feel like treating yourself to more than a soup/salad/sandwich...

I wasn't sure what to expect since I had not heard of this sushi spot before. It looked more like a casual lunch spot and probably popular for takeout. However, I was very impressed by the presentation and the taste of the sushi. I ordered a miso soup and a godzilla roll. The roll was pretty well sized and came with 8 pieces. The fish was so fresh! Also the toppings are all on point. 10/10 sushi. I would totally come here again. Not for a date night or anything fancy, but its great for a quick bite if you're in the area and crazing some sushi.

It's located by the market and you can order food through a kiosk or online. I got an order of 3 Cheesy bean and rice burrito shorties to go. While I waited I ordered a beer from the bartender. It seems that's how it's done, specifically drinks at the bar, food from the kiosk or online. The beer was enjoyable, the restaurant relatively empty save a few very obnoxious younger intoxicated guys. The bartender was trying to steer them towards water, etc, and did a good job. But that was unpleasant. My shorties were out pretty quickly. I finished my beer and back to the hotel. The burritos were really tasty. I decided to pick something a bit more basic to test them on the food quality and I enjoyed those cheesy bean and rice shorties. I went here on a Friday dinner, right after the dinner / pre-theater rush, as this place is right next to Paramount Theatre. I got the chicken schnitzel and the Practical Magic cocktail. I also enjoyed the curry mustard that goes really well with the schnitzel. $32 is a little bit higher than what I would want to pay, but the quality is there. Practical Magic is quite a pretty cocktail - it has gold stars sprinkled on top. It is a more tart drink with beet and a smokiness from the mezcal.
