I desperately needed paint for my contractors by the next morning, but Yelp and Google had different times listed for when the store closed. When I called, luck would have it that the shop was closing in 15 min but Daniel the CSR said he'd be able to help me if I got there quickly (I only live a few min away). As soon as I entered, I gave him 2 custom swatches I had brought from another place and he was able to guide me to the closest matches. While not perfect, I was already satisfied with them given my desperation but Daniel went above and beyond and literally created new batches of paint that matched my original swatches, even though it made him stay a little longer after closing. I felt so bad to inconvenience him but he was so gracious about helping me. On top of all that, he applied promotional discounts I wasn't even aware of and offered to help take everything to my car. I will need paint again for another area of house renovation soon and I know where I will be going to purchase. Sherwin Williams management, if you're reading this - buy this man lunch and give him a raise! :)

Don't buy Pokémon cards from here. They are resealing and selling them…read more So, I went in and got a Booster Bundle, slightly below scalper prices, but significantly above MSRP. The guy who brought the cards up, looked like he was mad at me for some reason, and was being very short, and asked for my signature, before even giving me the product. I didn't think much of it, but it felt like he just wanted to get me out, and on my way. My mistake was not looking at the product closely, and inspecting it. I just took it to my car, sat it on my seat and drove home, since it's ACE Hardware, a reputable store. When I got home, I already had 3 other bundles, that I had picked up from a few Pokémon Vending Machines over the last week or so. I noticed that the one from ACE Hardware had a significant thicker, and tighter seal wrap. It felt like a completely different material. I then opened the packs, and I noticed that almost every pack from the ACE bundle, had little openings in the top corners of the individual bags, which none of the other packs had. They also were significantly harder to open, compared to every other pack. Lastly, one of the packs from ACE had a Pokémon card that was near the middle of the pack, was warped. It was significantly bowed, while the other cards around it, we're perfectly straight. After searching online, and doing some research, these were all signs of being a resealed pack. I collect them for fun, and just started. So I just hope they aren't fake cards, and are just resealed "bad pulls" or whatever. I didn't expect to get any good cards, so I don't care too much. But, be warned.

I initially signed up because I thought the tree was cute and wanted some more Christmas decor, and the price of the workshop was really reasonable, so I thought why not? The workshop far exceeded my expectations in terms of ease and information! Michele was super knowledgeable about the materials/paint/techniques, and it inspired me to start dabbling into the idea of painting some of my own furniture. Or at least some of my own pieces rather than buying them at Hobby Lobby! :p It was super easy to pick up the materials, and there was more than enough leftover for using the materials for another DIY project. Can't wait to try one of their in-person workshops!

I bought several samples first to see how the colors looked in my home with various lighting. I returned to buy all of the paint that I needed and staff was very friendly and efficient. The second time I was a customer, Eva, assisted me in my purchase process. I had names of my paint colors and needed a couple of other colors to coordinate with the ones that I already knew. She was accommodating and let me sit and use the table in the store to go over my vision board and she let me use her paint fan deck. I went with the BM Regal Select, as she recommended and boy did the colors go on beautifully (thought I used a painter). Thank you Eva, and Vista Paints - West Covina!

Perhaps I should have walked in and out burger and got to nice animal style double double while I was waiting. Most of the ladies here are friendly except for the cranky dark haired supervisor. At first I thought it was me... and I also thought it was a one-day experience with that supervisor, but it appears that's her daily attitude with no smiles to all the customers. So I just tried to come when she's not there. Although it's a interesting paint place with ample parking in back lot, I doubt I'll be back. There's two other paint places close by. One by the 7/11 store on Azusa Avenue and the 10 freeway and the other one right next to the Norms Restaurant on Azusa Avenue. I'll be trying those
