I wasn't buying paint or shopping here today, but based upon my great experience here, I will shop here in the future. We were cleaning out my dads shed and discovered a lot of old paint that had accumulated over the years. I called early in the morning and spoke to Fatima over the phone. She is a great person to have employed here. She is friendly and accommodating over the phone, and her smile in person was a plus. She helped us get steered in the right direction. The rest of the staff was very friendly as well (thank you man in the red shirt and boots as well as the man in the green shirt with glasses...sorry we didn't catch your names). I usually use a big blue or orange box store to shop for paint, but service means a lot to us. We can see that this Vista Paint store is managed and run well...their employees are so friendly! After feeling defeated with finding the right paint color with home depot... I gave Vista Paint a go. John helped me out with a sample that saved my aching brain. Color selection is no joke in a dark home with lots of lighting variation. He even brought the sample out to my car as my toddler was snoozing. Fantastic service. You will get so much more expertise and help buying paint here than in a big box store. In comparison, I had to get a gallon of Navajo White at Vista Paint and they immediately asked me which one (different paint companies have their own version of that color). So these guys clearly know what they are doing! And they gave my kids painter hats which made their day! In comparison, I once went to get paint at a big box store. I'm in the midst of a kitchen cabinet painting project and I ran into problems getting the right finish on it. I tried several paints and top-coats with varying degrees of success, but then I read about Benjamin Moore's Advance product, so I visited Vista Paint in Escondido. John helped me out and gave me great advice, and spent as much time as I needed to make sure I wasn't leaving until I was prepared. I am very grateful to John for all his advice and patience. Vista Paint deals mainly with professional painters, but the folks at this location also have the patience to deal with homeowners. There is another Vista store much closer to my home, but it's worth it to me to drive down to this one. John and the rest of the team have been fantastic. I highly recommend them! read more

I will never buy my paint from any other location. I was referred here by a friend and I'm happy she did. I decided to repaint our whole downstairs which is an open floor plan with high ceilings and with a family room, living room, dining room, and kitchen.
