In the optometrist's office everyone was very professional, thorough, and had the latest testing equipment. I was very happy with the selection, prices, and variety of options in lenses, frames, and warranties. The frame selection is wonderful, and staff helped me with selecting the right frame for me. They had my two pair of glasses ready in two hours, which for a progressive prescription is wonderful. The prices for frames and lenses are very reasonable. I'm very happy, and will recommend the optometrist, and the optical shop to everyone.

I went to this clinic for a regular check up and for a new prescription. What I waited 3 weeks to…read moreget was a pair of thick, heavy, prism glasses which I did not want or ask for. Dr. Hornsby examined me. I told the woman that was supposed to assist me that they are not what I wanted, so she told me that they could substitute those with regular precription lens. All I had to do was wait until the replacement glasses came in and they would call me to bring in my own frames and the refit would take about an hour. Well, they did call me and they prepared the regular lens to fit my frame. When I sat down to try the glasses on, the same woman sat down accross from me and immediately accused me of cussing and told me that my conduct was not allowed in the store. I was totally shocked by her accusation and asked where that came from because I did not cuss at anyone at any time and she told me that 2 other employees heard me and told her. My wife was with me and she said I did not cuss at all. The woman then told me that the store has microphones and that she would listen to hear what I said. Well, she never got back to me on that and the new glasses are totally useless because when I put them on, everything was distorted and blurry. I told her that and she said that I just had to get used to them. Get used to them, have you ever had to get used to a pair of prescription glasses? I'm 87 years old and a retired, decorated U.S. Navy veteran and I have had dozens of prescription glasses in my life and never had to GET USED TO THEM. I also have never been treated so badly at any store in my entire life. The woman that said I was cussing and assisted me was very rude to say the least. She would not listen long enough for me to tell her what the problem was with the glasses. Now I'm out $533 and no glasses. I bought a pair of Walmart READERS for about $12 and can read and see better then what I got at this place. PLEASE, don't go to this store for anything.

It's wonderful place. I love the ladies at the desk as well. They are always so helpful and nice With the COVID19, they made everything more comfortable. I was going to sit my 2 year old in the chair to put his shoes on and her tone was a little off about us needing to sit to the side. But she may not have had a good day or something. I hope our next meeting goes better and if she was having a bad day, it got better.

Absolutely amazing! They are so friendly and full of life. I loved it! I usually dislike going to…read morethe optometrist because you feel shuffled in and blam puck these and get out. Not here! They took their time and made sure you were happy with your choices. But beyond that, my spouse had a serious eye condition. He has been to several optometrists over the years and told he had holes in his retinas but was never told it was important to have it checked beyond an eye exam. Family Eye Center did not just pass him off. They schedule him to see a specialist where he found out one of the holes was leaking. If he had waited much longer he could have lost vision in that eye. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! I can not express my gratitude and appreciation for everything you did for us.
