Precise exams and explains issues to patient, answers Q also. I have been using him for about thirty years. Prices fair for eyewear.

I go here for all of my glasses and my contact lenses my daughter also Goes here for her…read moreeyeglasses. I took my mother in today after leaving Danny vision completely devastated at what they had done to my mother and how they had costed her over $500 for a pair of damaged eyeglasses. Walking in the door the doctor hard as I started to explain about the glasses Danny vision had messed up and would not fix or refund and he came immediately over and asked how he could help. They were very helpful and made my mother feel so much better and now they have another customer who will be going back. They are always attentive and personal and you are never in there for very long their work is top notch and I would recommend them to anyone

If I could give them a zero I would because they do not even deserve a star at all. I have been…read moregoing to them for over a month for a eye infection. The attitude at the front desk has got to be the worst in any business. On second visit I was told my follow up would be at the time she told me or else. So I let her put me down for three days later and cancelled on day of because I was still aggravated at her. Now it is 2 weeks later and I still have this eye infection so I come in but I called before to see if needed appointment or just walk in. Was told we don't do appointments but need to be here by 10:30. When I arrive they argued with me at front desk there phone had not rung so I literally pulled out my phone and showed them. Also I have federal Bcbs and my copay should be the same every time and I have my remit to show first two were both $30 but they collected $40 and $25 because they would not listen to me. I have worked in medical field for over 30 years and never in my life seen poor professionalism. This will be my last visit but I will let doctor know how they treat people and with people like that working his front desk he might as well retire.

The people in this practice are hard to beat. Considering the great choices in eye care in Dothan,…read morethat's quite a statement. Professional, quick, state of the art equipment and knowledgeable people who make an accurate diagnosis and most importantly, they listen to you.

I went to this clinic for a regular check up and for a new prescription. What I waited 3 weeks to…read moreget was a pair of thick, heavy, prism glasses which I did not want or ask for. Dr. Hornsby examined me. I told the woman that was supposed to assist me that they are not what I wanted, so she told me that they could substitute those with regular precription lens. All I had to do was wait until the replacement glasses came in and they would call me to bring in my own frames and the refit would take about an hour. Well, they did call me and they prepared the regular lens to fit my frame. When I sat down to try the glasses on, the same woman sat down accross from me and immediately accused me of cussing and told me that my conduct was not allowed in the store. I was totally shocked by her accusation and asked where that came from because I did not cuss at anyone at any time and she told me that 2 other employees heard me and told her. My wife was with me and she said I did not cuss at all. The woman then told me that the store has microphones and that she would listen to hear what I said. Well, she never got back to me on that and the new glasses are totally useless because when I put them on, everything was distorted and blurry. I told her that and she said that I just had to get used to them. Get used to them, have you ever had to get used to a pair of prescription glasses? I'm 87 years old and a retired, decorated U.S. Navy veteran and I have had dozens of prescription glasses in my life and never had to GET USED TO THEM. I also have never been treated so badly at any store in my entire life. The woman that said I was cussing and assisted me was very rude to say the least. She would not listen long enough for me to tell her what the problem was with the glasses. Now I'm out $533 and no glasses. I bought a pair of Walmart READERS for about $12 and can read and see better then what I got at this place. PLEASE, don't go to this store for anything.
