Been coming to get my glasses here for years. They have an optometry department there as well. This time I got some new glasses but they ordered the wrong ones. So I called back and they replaced the glasses with the on es that I originally ordered. The staff is very friendly and they are very knowledgeable. I don't think you will be disappointed going here. read more

Great employees, knowledgeable staff, and a great selection. Thank you, Nic and Jim, from both Vancouver locations. They worked together to help find the exact frame I was looking for, and they were able to order it into the store for me to try on. I will definitely be returning for my glasses needs. Thank you all for the great service! read more

Ridiculously priced, I was trying to find a pair of glasses that could handle a little abuse since I have kids. Picked the kid out of the shopping cart and she head butted my glasses. Now the frame is bent and I have had them less than a week read more

Left the first appointment with a glasses prescription but the doctor told me "not to fill it because I don't know if it is right." What did I pay for? Why did I come here if it wasn't to get a prescription I can fill? When I was leaving, the girl at the desk was incredibly rude and didn't acknowledge my existence at all. The doctor told her to schedule a follow up. She just sat there looking pissed off and then slid the paperwork to Derek who was working on something else and she said "do you wanna check her out?" He awkwardly said "sure give me a minute." Then she just got her stuff and left the desk. Extremely rude and unprofessional person. I came in to get a new prescription for glasses and contacts. After two days, I knew the contacts he gave me weren't working. I called the office and said I need a sooner follow up because the contacts were the wrong prescription and were hurting my eyes. She said she added a note to my file. They had nothing available for over a week (even though there were appointments available online). When I returned I was asked why I wasn't wearing the contacts and I had to reexplain everything to the staff and then reexplain it to the doctor. The doctor didn't even check the prescription. He said nothing about the glasses prescription he gave me but I can't fill. He wouldn't recheck my eyes. He gave me different contacts in my old prescription and said to come back in a week. So now i have contacts in my old prescription and a new glasses prescription that i can't use because it's not right. And I have to go back for a 3rd time and ask again for the prescription to be checked. They already billed my insurance so I can't even go somewhere else unless I pay completely out of pocket. This place is fraudulent. I am so frustrated. It's been weeks of me wanting to correct my vision. Something is off. I keep asking for help and these people keep dismissing me. They just want to bill you but not actually provide correct prescriptions. I have been wearing glasses and contacts my entire life and never had a place commit fraud like this. read more

Annie was amazing. I was in a bind and ate saved the day and was knowledgeable and very kind!

My husband and I have been going here for sometime now as it's closer to our home. In the time that we have been purchasing service from this location, the General Manager has helped the both of us on separate occasions. Jim Potter has most always left us with a bad taste in our mouths. Very inattentive, rude and in a rush. It seems that our business doesn't matter. After a phone call today from customer service, my problems were excused as the stores being understaffed. So because of this understaffing issue we should overlook the poor customer service. Well we're not patronizing this location again. read more

These guys are great! They have graciously helped me replace my daughters frames after being broken for little to no cost! I appreciate their covid precautions and friendly manner! read more

The worker Amanda did a great job with my glasses . She was patient and friendly. My job insurance covered most of it and I had an overall great experience with my glasses shopping. read more

I had such a great experience today thanks to Liz and Shaman! I went in for an adjustment on my current frames and Shaman was able to help me very quickly and professionally and did a great job! I then decided to browse around and check out their frames, well I ended up falling in love with a pair. Liz was so nice, patient, helpful, and efficient that I ended up buying new glasses. I have never had a better experience at any other optical as I always feel rushed to find a pair. I appreciate their patience and their sincere feedback on all the pairs I tried and was debating with. I will definitely be returning here to purchase another pair. Awesome customer service! I highly recommend visiting Liz and Shaman! read more

My all time favorite place to buy the dopest lenses possible. Very, very happy with my service here. They were quick, friendly, and so very professional. Buying glasses was quick & painless - fastest fifteen minutes of my life. This place is cool. Shout out to Gare-Bear and Shami-poo! You're the real MVPs. Go Huskies. ;) read more

Horror customer service. Waiting to pick up glasses and two people walk in after and get moved in front of us. I asked the rude lady working and she said they were here earlier. Wow been waiting over 10 minutes to get help. No one greeted us. This place is horrible and don't come here unless you want horrible service. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. read more

Older lady with white, spiked hair made fun of the way I chose to spell my sons name, pronouncing it wrong purpose multiple times, thinking she was funny. Then let us know there was like a 3% change the frames he's picked for the last 6 years where available but made no effort to even look. We left knowing we'd never be back to that location. read more

I really like the people who conduct the wellness exam and the eye doctor. I have been here a few times for glasses, this last trip however was trying. The woman who helped me was in scrubs and I never got her name because she never talked to me, it was extremely awkward. I get if you're having a bad day, at least talk to me and explain my benefits. Not once did she go over my plan and what i needed to pay for. All she said was "Did you find frames?". She then spent the next 5 minutes completely quiet and said "It will be $182 dollars." that's it... I asked if that is including the frames, why so much? "Its the lenses. Hold on." then looked back at the computer for another 5 minutes then says "It's $162." I was soooo confused. I asked "Will you explain why?" and she never said anything. I was having a great day and decided not to ruin it by confronting a rude employee. I am sure there is a reason why she was so negative but in all honesty it's not my problem. this is the first time being here that left a sour taste in my mouth and the thought of going to another store versus this one in the future. read more

My husband was unable to find another provider who would only do a contract lense fitting. He returned to this store reluctantly to get the fitting. They are now telling him that he would have to pay out of pocket for a new exam AND contact lens fitting because it's been 6 months. Again, wrong. Called Spectara who is beyond not ok with this staying this store is in violation of their contact and that they will be contacting them. I did, however call VisionWorks home office and spoke to a CSR who is rather upset right along with me. He's reaching out to a few different people trying to find out what they can do to get our benefit reinstated. He felt as well that this was a scam of sorts and is concerned that there are many people, who are not well versed in their insurance, paying monies they are not required too. This CSR would get 5 stars all on his own... but unfortunately I can't do that because he doesn't have his own Yelp page. **I'm editing this because it erased my first review when I updated it about the office trying to charge him oop for a lense fitting and how they refused to call out insurance. The gal working even had a print out of our benefits saying it was covered but insisted on payment up front. She didn't give him his Rx and when I caked over the course of 2 months no one called me back... it has been a nightmare. I work in medical insurance all day long. Horrible horrible horrible... scam artists in that store... read more

The place made me feel very safe and I appreciated the sign in for possible contact tracing. BUT, they made me wait for 3 weeks and then didn't even get my progressive lens. They did make it right and I did finally get the correct pair, with a free spare, but the staff at that point were extremely rude. I asked how they looked and he said "like glasses" well no shit, but do they fit and look correct. He ignored me and said you now have a spare. Like this was all my fault! I have ordered 6 pairs from them. NEVER AGAIN!! Rude read more

Visited on 8/30/2022. After the initial wellness exam we were directed to work with a girl in a black t-shirt and jeans who had curly hair tied up in a bun. She was convinced that our insurance only covered a wellness exam and lenses/frames. I pulled it up on my phone and showed her that the contact lens exam was covered with a $10 co-pay. She wanted us to pay 15% off of the full cost which was like $50. She never called or verified anything with the insurance the entire time we were sitting there. She just wanted to die on that hill despite being completely wrong. Extremely rude to us. Tried to tell us that a contact lens exam and fitting were "not the same thing". She called over the doctor to back her up but the doctor told her she was wrong and that the exam and fitting are the same thing. She got frustrated and tried to explain in "nice" terms to the doctor that we were stupid and didn't understand. I gave up trying to talk to this girl and called and verified the insurance coverage myself. I was right. Of course the girl had walked away by that point and never came back over or spoke to us again. She was clearly very upset that she was wrong. I am honestly shocked that a sales associate wouldn't even call to double check the insurance coverage and instead was nasty to us. Even when we were leaving we paid at the counter with the other sales associate and she wasn't very friendly either. I am guessing the first one we dealt with had a chance to chat with her and complain about us. Unfortunate that the sales associates are rude and uninformed because the doctors are very friendly. Sadly, we won't be back. read more

Great experience. The check-in was seamless and quick and the Dr. was very friendly and thorough. Shaman and Christina were very helpful when I was selecting frames and deciding whether to use insurance or FSA or both! They have a HUGE selection of frames (almost overwhelming) but I was able to get in and out of there in a little over 2 hours (more because of my own indecisiveness with choosing frames!) Will be back for sure! Update: Had to get the glasses fixed and they did with no problem! read more

It's important to have the correct information. Visionworks locations in Washington and Oregon sell eyewear (eyeglasses) Not contact lenses. The sell of contact lenses is done so by an independent doctor's office located within Visionworks location. read more

Came here with my boyfriend to pick out new glasses. James was incredibly helpful, didn't hover at all but was always there when we needed his advice or extra information without even having to ask! We didn't feel pressured at all, and he was welcoming despite the fact that we came in toward closing. He genuinely seemed happy to get us the best deal with the best pair of glasses. We got two pairs of maxed out glasses with HD, anti-glare and the works for less than $250! Thanks James, will recommend! read more

Loved this store. Easy in to get an exam, so many frame choices and at reasonable prices, even more so with my insurance benefits, and the staff was very helpful. Can't beat that 30 day satisfaction guarantee either. read more

The customer service representative Amanda was rude and evasive with certain customers. We came in she said nothing. Another couple came in behind us and she hopped to help them. I'm disgusted and the poor level of customer service she displayed. I am so thankful that Liz was there and attentive. She was juggling two clients but she managed to get the job done while being attentive to both parties and acknowledging that we were wronged without throwing her co-worker under the bus. I am pleased with her exceptional level of customer service skills. As for Amanda if she doesn't want to serve all vision works customers she should look for further employment but some retraining is in order. We could have easily been business lost if Liz had not swooped in and made our experience a total turn around. read more

Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about choosing correct frame size and lenses. They do an EXCELLENT job with progressive lenses meaning they come out perfect every time! I highly recommend the Trivex lenses, super clear. Quality of both frame & lenses and excellent customer service is why I keep buying my glasses here. Have great management and well trained employees who enjoy what they do. I highly recommend the location inside Vancouver Mall, WA!! read more

What a hot mess. My husband took frames in there to have new lenses put in them. They said it would take an hour then when we got there we were told it would take 3 . Then they called and said they had to send for new lenses because they didnt fit. Then 2 weeks later we went to pick them up and the lenses were ridiculously thick!my husband said he wouldnt wear them and asked why they were so thick? Same prescription as before and same insurance coverage. They apologized and reordered AGAIN. Then for the inconvenience offered him a free pair of prescription sunglasses. Yeah something is wrong w them he cant see out of them so the free glasses are sitting in a drawer. Now to me! Had my exam at Costco because the exam is cheaper there. Today I went in to visionworks to get glasses as I think they have a larger selection of frames. I ask Kristine about the buy one get one free ginormous banner in the middle of the store. Shes quick to tell me it doesnt apply if you have insurance. Thats funny to me because they are still getting paid for the glasses so why should having insurance disqualify me. She then tells me w my insurance I only have 150 in frame coverage and they only cover small amounts of the lenses etc....without even looking at my benefits. I ignored her because I know my benefits and she has no clue. Picked out my frames and sit down to order. She tells me I have to pay 70 for them to darken in the sun. I believe Costco is 35. I was still willing to pay more because I liked the frames. THEN she tells me my prescription is so strong that the lenses will be so heavy I wont be able to wear them and trys to sell me an upgrade thinset lenses for an extra $205! BUT thats a great deal because they are normally 600! My eye doc had mentioned my prescription had really not changed and I do have glasses at home w lenses that I wear just fine. I started laughing. I pay for insurance for a reason. She was clueless and I didnt feel like she understood my insurance so I knew Id be paying more than I should. I stood up and told her to forget it...her response? "Oh yes stick w contacts". Going to Costco Saturday to order my glasses. We are a family of 4 that wont be returning to this place ever again. read more

I am giving this high star rating in view of the excellent customer service I received there. At my first visit, I had a long wait, but not because of the staffs' inattention, The place was busy. Their representative was knowledgeable, found my insurance info easily, and had my glasses ordered in no time. It took about three weeks for my glasses to be made, which is a long wait time, but this did not negate the quality of service I obtained, When I went to pick up my new glasses, I was waited on by James. He got up to greet me as I entered the store, and found my glasses and had them fitted, and fixed the pair I wore in, for free, which included adding non-slip nose pieces at no cost. I had taken these to be fitted three times at the place I bought them, without having them fitted properly, till James fixed them. read more

Bought most expensive lenses they had because they were supposed to be scratch resistant. Now have two scratches in the middle of one of the lenses and they refuse to do anything about it. Very disappointing, will definitely not go back there! read more
