With 1 insurance and them in network but not "preferred", the Versace glasses with all the bells and whistles, that is included at no extra charge, cost me $147. And they were so helpful. At Visionworks I had to shop while th3 lady sat on her tablet. She didn't come alive until it looked like she might make a sale. VSP insurance owns Visionworks so they give you more of a frame allowance but charge extra for everything else. Do yourself a favor and shop around!!!

They are extremely close to another eye clinic I had been to 3 years ago. I didn't recall that clinic's name but assumed if someone had my email and was located at an address on that road, it was the same clinic. I called and when asked about insurance said Aetna to which the person on the phone responded as if that were impossible for vision insurance. I have Aetna Vision Preferred (855-347-6899) in point of fact. I said it hadn't changed since my prior exam there so should be on file. Person responds that they are not seeing that info and that it says I would be a new patient. So then I realized it was not the same clinic. I said "Oh you are very close to the one I went to before and I thought they would be the only ones sending me an email. You're right. That was my confusion." Person then says *snidely* "Well we are going to need insurance information. You haven't been here before (snide slight laugh)." Yes we just established that in my statement from 2 seconds ago... "You are right. That was my confusion." I just decided to end the call at that given that now I was probably not going to convince this person my insurance was Aetna. At this point I realized what a blessing this call had been in clarifying this is not somewhere I would want to get care with that attitude toward customer service. Saved me a wasted trip.

Went for my first visit and overall it was just ok. My…read moreappointment was at 8:45am and being that I was a first time patient I arrived about 10 minutes early assuming I would need to do some paperwork. I did not get called into my appointment until after 9am. Judging from other reviews the wait times seem to be an issue here and it was definitely an issue for me. On the positive the tech that worked with me was kind and thorough. When it came time to put the numbing drops in my eyes she noted I had my makeup done and asked me if I was going somewhere after my exam. I told her I was going to work and she offered to use clear numbing drops instead of the standard yellow. I really appreciated her care and thoughtfulness in this detail as to not ruin my makeup. I did find it strange that she did the majority of the exam and that I probably had a max of 5 minutes with the doctor. His portion felt rushed but I guess this is routine for him and maybe he didnt feel the need to give more time and needed to move on to the next. It just didnt feel great. Overall my experience was fine. It did take longer than expected but I got my prescription updated which was the goal.

I had seen 3 different practitioners in northern CA after having experienced nausea and headaches for a year. Each of them advertised that they could prescribe for brain injury patients and NONE of them were helpful. I had to fly from Nor Cal to Portland to see Dr Reski. He tried several different prescriptions before we found the one that helped me the most. From the moment I put them on, headache and nausea disappeared. Yes, they are busy and it may take a few weeks to book an exam, but it is valuable beyond words.

She took the glasses and my Rx, and barely glancing at them both informed me that they were not responsible for breaking the glasses to get the old lenses out. Not that it "may" happen and was a "rare" occurrence. Nope, she made sure I knew it was probably going to happen. What luck for them...I just happen to be inside an eye shop and could immediately purchase a new pair from them!!!! Wow, really? Does anyone not see through this? She also informed that, although I have a major carrier to bill for my eyewear, they didn't actually bill "that" one. What a joke. I ran from the store and would never return to this place again.
