I went into LensCrafters looking for a specific pair of glasses, the folding polarized Wayfarers. Since there wasn't a display model, I asked which size would fit better. I chose the larger size, but when we went to check out there was an error, so I was told we'd have to order the smaller size instead. I asked if I could exchange them if they didn't fit, and I was assured that wouldn't be a problem. When the glasses arrived, they didn't fit well. I gave them a fair chance and even let the staff try to adjust them, but they still weren't right, so I came back to exchange them. At that point, Hannah, the manager, seemed visibly annoyed that I wanted to swap them. She processed the exchange but refunded me the original price and then charged me full price for the replacement. She told me the receipt could print incorrectly, but that wasn't true. I ended up paying an extra $35 for a cheaper pair that didn't even have polarized lenses, which was the entire reason I bought them in the first place. When I realized the lenses were wrong and came back again, I was told they couldn't help because the correct glasses were out of stock. Instead, I was told I could simply return them on the last day of my warranty if I wanted to. The whole experience was frustrating and left me feeling like my concerns were treated as an inconvenience instead of being resolved. read more

Definitely will get my glasses and sunglasses at LensCrafters, they are the same company who is a sister company with sunglass hut, and Ray-Ban. There RX lenses are so canvassed on their sunglasses that nobody knows the difference. I love my glasses and New wayfarer sunglasses. read more

Love this place! Just moved to the area and have glasses that are a few years old, they were barely able to sit on my face and the nose pieces were scratching the bridge of my nose. I called beforehand to see if they do repairs and was pleased to find out that they can do it for free! When I went in they were accommodating and cleaned them, fixed them, made sure they could stay on my face and the lady who fixed mine was very polite, kind, and professional. My dad, uncle, and I are now considering them for our go to eye place. They have all kinds of cool frames and it's very clean and well kept. Highly recommend read more

Service? What service! I went in around 11:30 on a Tuesday morning. 3 clerks and no other customers. One clerk comes out, asked what I want (Uh, glasses. This ain't a hamburger stand lady.) I explain that I need large frames and am told "There's some but you gotta find them. We don't organize. " She points to three walls of frames and then WALKS AWAY !!! Meanwhile, The other two clerks are having some sort of amusing conversation, laughing it up and completely ignoring me. After looking for a few minutes and not able to find my size I left. I made an appointment for an eye exam. I talked to them TWICE before going in. Both times, they assured me my insurance was accepted. I take the day off work to go in, and as they are checking me in, the employee tells me that my insurance is out of network and I will have to pay out of pocket. If he found it that easily, how was it seen as accepted by two others before him. Needless to say, I didn't get the exam. I wasted a vacation day and now have to find another place to get an exam. All could have been avoided had those I spoke to on the phone been up front about it. So yeah, I'm frustrated right now. read more

My wife and I went here to get our eyes checked for glasses. I got a contact lens fitting as well. The employees and optometrist I saw were very professional and pleasant. The price was a little high, but it was at the mall, so what do you expect? Anyway, besides that, It is a great location, and I would trust my eyes to them in the future. read more

We understand Covid19 has drastically changed things, but most businesses have found ways to work within CDC guidelines. The end of January, we purchased frames and lenses for my wife. ($638) When we received them, one of the lenses was off, but were asked to try them for a few days. It didn't help. We returned them so they could fix the bad lens. That's when the store was shut down. We understand that, however my wife's old prescription is causing her headaches, so we would like to see if the new lens works. We're moving to rural NM next week and don't wish to ship them back and forth if they don't work. We contacted their customer service and were told they could NOT do refunds. The selling store has to do them. It seems upper management or customer service would offer a way to handle situations like this. We've checked, and several of their competitors are allowing store visits, with an appointment. Or even person to person phone conversations, not hiding behind chat sites. read more

I went there because it's one of the few places that my new insurance takes. I did not get an eye exam and got a pair of sunglasses. I had to swap out my sunglasses twice because they screwed up on the tinting. You can see blotches from the tint with a naked eye. When I picked up the first pair I checked them on the spot and caught it. The second pair were the same way. Finally they admitted that they are not using the same tint that they normally use and that was out of stock until a week or two later. I would have been perfectly okay with waiting for the tint to come back in stock instead of the hassle of having to repeatedly go back and recheck them. read more

I'd give them zero stars if it let me! I am very disappointed in the way they handled the billing. I was quoted over the phone a price for the exam with two discounts we qualified for. After the exam we were only given one discount and there was an add on charge we were not made aware of. This ended up costing us $100 more then we had budgeted for. Private pay people be where. This was the 3rd place my hubby and I went looking for new glasses. We had our Rx's in hand. LaVonne was great! You could tell she knew what she was doing and that she had a lot of experience. Even though they were short handed, she was very courteous and helpful. Hubby found some frames, and I found some frames for new sunglasses. I didn't find my reg glasses frames as I have a petit face and often have trouble finding glasses small enough for my narrow petit face. We recommend asking for LaVonne! read more

Outstanding service. I had a pair of glasses in need of a basic repair (the plastic line around the lenses had snapped and the lenses fell out). I called, and the person who answered said she could fix the problem in a matter of minutes once I arrived that afternoon. Megan is the perfect mix of professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Good to her word, my glasses were repaired in about 10 minutes; not only that, but she adjusted the frames, cleaned them up, and replaced the nose pads at no cost. Accepts state insurance for an "eye exam". Doesn't include a contact fitting which is $70 just for that portion. Which you need to be able to have a prescription to purchase contacts. Not helpful. read more

I go here for the convenience, however, that will change. Last few times there I was left to wait too long to speak to someone. Ordered glasses......said glasses were lost.....re-order. Hung-up on while asking for an update on my glasses. Ordered contacts for next day that never arrived, been 4 or 5 days now. Overpriced for sure but the convenience usually made up for it. With this service....I'm done. Doc's at the eye exam side are great. Their staff is a bit off. When I ordered my contacts, she quoted me a price so I asked for a 3 or 6 month supply. When I asked her to double check the order, it was found out she only ordered the left eye. She asked me, "oh, you want the right eye as well? That's going to cost more." OO Why would I order just the left eye? so glad I asked for the order to be verified. read more

I did have an issue while having new lenses put in my glasses, but they went above and beyond to ensure my issue was resolved and completely exceeded expectations in doing so. My wife and I had double appointments for eye tests and with a little toddler in tow, they were very accommodating. 3 out of 4 sets of lenses were in stock and ready to go in an hour despite them being busier than normal. The other set had to be ordered and took a week. They were upfront about this. Friendly staff and great prices - the free lens promo on sunglasses is excellent. Just beware there is warrantt included on their glasses - you have to add $35 for a year. read more

I've always been satisfied with service at this location until today. I scheduled an appointment online and indicated I was a diabetic patient (as best as their online form allows.) A rep called me and asked if I had insurance and let me know that without insurance the cost of the exam would be $179. The receptionist took me back and performed about 6 initial tests on me. She asked if I were wanting a diabetic exam. I indicated that no, I was wanting contacts and glasses. The final machine she put me on took pictures of my eyes. She THEN stated that the pictures were because I was a diabetic and they would cost an extra $60 and that there would also be a fitting fee for the contacts. I've worn contacts for years and did not need to be "fitted"; I just needed a new prescription. The issue I have is that I was told about all of the extra fees mid-exam, not 1) When the initial quote was given 2) Not when I was asked what type of exam I wanted and 3) Not when the receptionist was first aware that I wanted contacts. Changing the price mid-stream is an unfair business practice. I was told I didn't have to pay for anything thus far and walked out. This location has lost my business for life. read more

This single mom got her 6 yo a complete set of new glasses just as the new school year was starting. She has severe near-sightedness, and can't see ANYTHING without them ! At our follow up appointment with her pediatric ophthalmologist (not at LensCrafters), we learned that her eyes had actually worsened -in less than 3 months- and the prescription was no longer accurate. We had no choice, but to purchase new lenses with the stronger prescription. Just the lenses (we were simply going to use her nearly new frames) would cost approx $200 !!! Having just recently purchased the new glasses, exhausting her annual insurance benefit(and then some), we were in a predicament! The glasses would just have to wait ! Lavonne saw the need and alerted us to a program that would allow us to get the glasses ASAP without cost ! She was an ANGEL ! It is holiday time, starting a new business this year that has yet to turn any profit (and left this mom with pretty much no pay for months now), and an exhausted insurance benefit had left us in a predicament !
