My last experience at a different eyeglass store left me with ho-hum bearable glasses. I remember leaving my last place and feeling like I just had to get over it. This time I felt 100% happy with my glasses and sunglasses. Katie was EXTREMELY patient and helpful. Even though my insurance was out of network they matched my benefits. The people who work in the front are always very sweet. Though after booking a doctors appointment here, I would not do it again. I went for an eye exam for prescription for glasses and contacts. The doctor trajkovska was very tense with both me and my mother. She was acting very rushed. After looking at my eyes, she was very alert about my right eye. I am a young person and she started saying a lot of words very quickly, saying that I had to see two different specialists. As well as causing fear by saying that I need to get checked for glaucoma (I am 19). She then said "do you have any questions" , I asked a question and she said I have to ask it to the specialists. After explaining absolutely nothing she sent me off leaving me very confused and disturbed. Would not come here again for this doctor. Overall don't book an appointment here just get your glasses here. There is one doctor that was supposedly good so I would recommend going with them. read more

Terrible service. Kept cancelling appointments. Finally got in and picked out glasses only to learn they don't really have the frames I picked. There were no other frames that I liked and I am trying to get my money back and a copy of my prescription. They are ignoring me. Awful place! No one answers the phone! The doctor gave me the wrong set of contacts. He inverted my prescription!!! It's a MAJOR mistake. I called and FOUR days later still waiting for a return call. Rude service Trust the reviews and go elsewhere Contacts shouldn't take more than a week to deliver. 1800 contacts can get them in a week. Thanks for wasting my time They made me come back for a "contact fitting". The second doctor I saw was confused why I had to come back. Asked originally for my contacts to be shipped. Then suddenly there's a few when they came in cause it was inputted into the system incorrectly. Overall this place seems like they have no clue what they are doing and of course you see a different person each time so they have no clue what you have been told or what they are doing. Last year- I bought glasses here 5 star... This time- forget it! They messed up and used the wrong frame... then after I said over and over that the eye doctor did all the calculations on my prescription for workplace glasses, they ignored that, and added calculations to my script. After explaining again at the store they didn't believe me when I said the glasses they made were wrong, until I pushed them to check the lenses against the script... yup- wrong lenses. Sales person reorders while I'm store/ then later in the day, calls and contradicts me again! Finally I call and talk to yet another person and explain again, she apparently "gets it"... so... I'm still waiting for new glasses that were ordered at the end of December. Next time I'm gonna try the online stores- it seems like it might take just as long if they mess up and I'd save a ton of money. read more

The customer service cleanliness and healthfulness of the entire staff is by far superior than any other facility I've been to. I don't like to admit that I need glasses but they make me feel nice helpful and also help file all your insurance claims if you're fortunate enough to have it. APPOINTMENTS ARE USELESS AT THIS LOCATION I made an appointment over the phone by actually talking to someone at the location for 2 weeks down the road which was the only first one available. I had an email and a text confirmation for that specific date and time for appointment, yet when I showed up they said they had no records of the my scheduled appointment anywhere. Made me sound like I made the appointment up and I was wrong. New guy was helpful but when the superior lady dead set on I was making the appointment up don't even want to get up off the chair to help them or their patrons that says it all. They turned me away with the only solution to reschedule appointment for 2 weeks down the road which would have totaled about almost a month in wait for eye exam. So even if you have a dead set appointment confirmed on text or email doesn't mean jack to them. Also called the Visionworks customer service after I left from there and they easily found my appointment MAGICALLY I GUESS. Walked into Walmart who were much more welcoming and professional in acquiring a new customer. read more

This store is understaffed and provides horrible service. I will never be back again. I waited over an hour to he told they didn't know about my insurance. I went outside and called pearl vision and within minutes has my answer and an appt. vision works was also turning people away saying they left a message the day before to reschedule which was not true. Trying to get an actual person to answer the phone at the store to ask a question that "Amelia" can't answe An AI) is like trying to get through to the Pope. I went to Visionworks with an existing prescription to get a pair of glasses. After ordering my glasses I soon received an email with a status update for my order with an estimated completion date 2 weeks from my order date. The completion date came and my order status immediately changed to "delayed" with a completion date of unavailable. This was the case every day for a week. Sometimes the status and completion date said "pending". I tried calling to find out what was going on. It is not possible to actually reach the location where I purchased the glasses. After a 40 plus minute phone call ( between going through the menu and being on hold,) I was told that my glasses were sent to the store and they had no idea why I was getting the pending status. I said that I didn't want to waste my gas going to the store if my glasses were not there. I was told that someone from that location would call to let me know. Never got the call but decided to go the next day anyway and the glasses were there even though my order status was still "delayed". I feel bad for the staff in the store as they are apparently way understaffed and when I was there, one person had to do everything. An extremely frustrating experience and I will not go back to Visionworks ever again. read more

This is the sixth location today I've made an online appointment with only to get a phone call an hour later that there's a "glitch" in their system and either the doctor is on lunch that time, or someone already has that appointment time. I stopped in because my hubby had a terrible accident broke his nose & glasses. Never being to this store I was not sure if they would help straighten his very twisted glasses . The girls went above & beyond , straightened his glasses & gave me so much needed advise as to the quality of his glasses. They now have 2 patients for life. Thank you Visionworks. read more

Had a 9 and 9:15 appointment which I took time off of work for. Showed up and the manager that was supposed to open the store got delayed on a trip and just landed at the airport at 9:30. No one had a key and I was told I could just call and reschedule. Total lack of customer service and disrespect to the customers, other employees and the doctor. A week later, and no one has reached out to me. This after receiving a text a day for a week reminding me of my appointment. read more

Excellent! Appointments are readily available. Staff is extremely helpful with appointments, insurance coverage, selections, etc. Economical compared with other eye care practices in the area. My appointment with this office was in October before I switched to my spouse's insurance. All of my benefits were verified at the time of my appointment. The appointment was pleasant. In February, Hope called me and said that my insurance company said that my ID was invalid. I explained that I no longer had that insurance. She said that she needed to verify my ID number which didn't make any sense because they had. Drifted my benefits at my appointment in October and clearly had the correct ID number then. I asked her if she had called the insurance company and she said "Yes, I did." I asked her what they said and she said "They said your ID number is invalid." None of this was making sense to me. I called the insurance company myself (with the same ID number) who said that my insurance ended 10/31/16 and since my appointment was 10/23/16 I was covered at the time of the visit. The insurance company said that Visionworks could not submit the claim electronically and needed to submit a paper claim. Clearly, Hope had never actually called the insurance company despite telling me that she did. Had she called them, she would have easily resolved this issue instead of calling me and speaking to me rudely and lying to me. Usually doctors offices will work with insurance companies to find out why your claims are being denied but apparently Visionworks expects their customers to do the work for them. I have been attending various Visionworks offices for the past 15 years and will never step foot inside another one again. read more
