It was so quiet in there and super cold which was awesome cus it's super hot outside. The girl that helped me was so sweet and nice and supa quick with it, her name was sheyoh or something cool like that. Great experience loved it love her love you guys thanks so much! read more

Love, love, love the customer service provided by Ali at check in & Stacey at the frames section. Both had greeted & made me feel welcome. The selection of frames was plenty & the process of getting my eye exam done was smooth as can be. Thank you Stacey for letting me know about the warranty Vision Works provides- it saves me money in the long run & keeps me as a repeated customer!! read more

Had an older man walk me through setting my eye exam and he walked me through what they would do and what tests would be done. As long as he's working the front i'll exclusively get my glasses here! Made up for the issue the other day with the other staff and then some! He was amazing seriously. read more

our experience at Christown mall with Visionworks was amazing. Grace was an excellent help. she got us what we needed very helpful. Great customer service. read more

terrible Customer Service. They don't know what they're doing. Did not receive what I ordered and it is at the end of the year so I cannot use my vision insurance for a couple more months until it gets reinstated if it does.. Total morons. read more

Stay away. I came here to replace some old lenses. They messed up my prescription lenses 2 times. Kept having to go back and forth between and optometrist and this store to confirm some bad work done by the front office lady and their labs. The lady at the front wrote down the wrong PD the first time. When the glasses finally came back, the right lens was still slightly blurry at the top 1/3 of the lens. After that, I just asked for a refund and the lady had to remove the lenses and told me the insurance money wouldn't go back to them for a month. So now, I am out my original pair of lens and I have to wait a month and am stuck being blind until the insurance money goes back to the insurance. Then, I can get my lenses replaced. Also, the old man gives a lot of attitude for no reason. None of this was my fault. read more

My visit today was soooo smooth! I'm sorry if I butchered your name, Shiloh was very helpful when looking for frames that suit my face! I truly appreciate her going above and beyond!! read more

Dr. Ochoa was prompt and efficient. I arrived 2 min late for appo, I didn't wait 5 min to get the eye exam started. Retail space in front of the store is separate entity so you'd pay Dr's office separately. If you are buying glasses from this location, ask for Joe for help. He was very knowledgeable about both type of lenses/coating and insurance coverage. I have no complaints! read more

I'm a patient for life! Dr. Ochoa resolved a problem with my eyes in five seconds that other doctors had missed for the past few years. I absolutely could not be happier. Every aspect of this experience was perfect: my appointment began on time, the staff was extremely kind and courteous, I was in and out and like I mentioned, the Dr. resolved a longstanding problem that others had missed. I can't recommed Dr. Ochoa or his team enough. read more

Literally just left. The person at the front desk was curt and standoffish but the doctor seemed like he may have been nice but I'm not sure...I wasn't able to be seen. I have never been to a doctors office that did not have a bathroom for patients. And during a pandemic I am supposed to try on glasses and contacts without being able to wash my hands?? I am really tired of tacky policies and rude attitudes from businesses in this area. Everyone is spending the same currency. The area shouldn't dictate the level of service provided. I sincerely hope the location improves the service. My mom referred me to Visionworks and I went in expecting a great experience. read more

Stop in for some new glass and scrip . Well the girl help me to find Glass was trying to work me . It clearly says buy one get one FREE but we all know that's BS . Then I was like I only really need one and she's like I can give you a cash deal and after that I was just over it and already paid for the scrip so I'm just going else where . read more

I went here to get a new pair of Rayban prescription glasses. The staff was really helpful and courteous. I was told it could take up to 2 weeks for my glasses to arrive but they came in after 8 days. I'll be back for a pair of sunglasses! read more

I arrived for an eye exam and ordered my glasses that day was great excellent customer service and doctor was informative. When my glasses arrived same thing no complaints I left and attempted to wear my glasses my vision looking straight was great however if I looked right or left is was so distorted I could not drive with them I allowed a day thinking I needed to get used to new prescription. I ended up taking them back where I waited over an hour while the person researched the problem she kept saying "I don't see a problem" Are you sure its your glasses? I explained there is a problem she took my glasses assured me I would receive a call back the next day. On the 3rd day I called them and was informed they are making me a new pair in which they did not rush knowing I had no other glasses nor call me to follow up I spoke to them about getting a refund I was told when these come back "Fine" you can have a refund then rudely said "Is that it"? I ask when can I expect the new one the response I received is "I just said next Monday" and "Bye" disconnecting the call. I was offered to come and pick up the original glasses (the ones that I cant see out of to use until my others come in) read more

Very nice ladies! My prescription wasn't right the first time but they were so nice and fixed it so fast!

Really nice customer service, affordable prices, well educated staff from front desk to doctors, in general is a great place to get your eyes checked. The only issue I found there is the cleaning, they have to focus a little bit more on that because the instruments they used on you are filthy and they have a smell of dirtiness. read more

if i could give this place a negarive stars i would. my husband and i went in there in august for glassed thru our insurance, the exam and doctors were ok,, but when our glassed came in his were correct and good for him, he wears bifocals and a serious presciption. i wear only reading glasses and the minimum of 1.25 at dollar store and walgreens etc,,, so mine should have been easy , right?? not , they were not correct too strong or something , so i sent them back for a redo,,, we are still waiting its almost going on 2 months now. i think they must have lost them or something, but we will never never ever go back to them and everyone will know they cant even do a simple reading glasses. read more

My daughter and I walked in to this location at 8 PM and received excellent customer service from Joe. He was very pleasant, attentive, and really helped to assist us in finding the perfect pair of my daughters first glasses. It was a piece of cake from beginning to end and we had fun doing something that can sometimes be a bit stressful. Thanks Joe! read more

Very, very expensive (compared to Costco) In March I purchased two pairs of glasses, paying over $780 for the frames and lenses. A few months later I scratched the lenses on one of the glasses, so needed new lenses. I did not purchase the insurance policy because in 30 years of wearing glasses this has never been an issue. At first they wanted $325 for new lenses for one pair, using my existing frames. I thought that was way too high so they gave me a "discount" to $265. That still seemed too expensive so the saleslady promised to talk with "corporate" to see what she could do. She never called back so I had to go in to find out what was happening. I was not offered any additional reduction so I went across the isle to Costco and they quoted me $75, plus $25 because the frames were purchased somewhere else. $265 at Visionworks versus $100 at Costco - what would you do? For the $165 savings I can buy my grandchildren Christmas presents rather than paying a huge commission to the salesperson at Visionworks. Shame on you. read more

I went to Visionworks (which is about 10 miles out of my way) to look into getting some new eyeglasses. Right away, it was evident that the staff are commission based employees. I was greeted with a handshake (which was great) and during my entire time of being there, I was followed closely and bothered with nonsensical suggestions. I couldn't just browse without being hounded. I finally found a pair I liked and sat down with an older gentleman. I knew what my insurance coverage amounts were before driving to this location, however the gentleman insisted on telling me the insurance wouldn't really cover what they say they cover. He started writing down the price for my out of pocket expenses and before I knew it, I felt as though I was purchasing a car; not only because of the process, but also the price. AND THEY WEREN'T EVEN DESIGNER GLASSES!!! I will NOT be back to Visionworks in the future. I had a great experience in 2011 at a different location but after this visit, I'll stick with their competitors. read more

I've been a customer for many years. The prices are affordable, the orders come on or before the date they say they will, and the staff is friendly and will go the extra mile for you. I ordered contacts, and this wonderful woman spent ten minutes figuring out/calling my insurance and figured out a way to get them with $0 out of pocket costs! She my favorite person there; she makes me feel like family. I'll happily continue to be a Visionworks customer for many years to come. read more

These guys are great. I had the chance to speak with both docs here and they were exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to make sure I received the correct lenses. The rest of the staff were genuinely sweet, and they even remembered me by name after the first visit or two. Was really impressive. Very happy with my time here and will certainly continuing seeing these guys. read more

Don't even bother getting a warranty. Hi I have scratches on my glasses and I have a warranty but they're still trying to make me pay $122. Guess I'll just take my ass back to eyeglass world it's way better I go there for my daughter. I can't remember why I came here in the first place lmao you can get 2 glasses at eyeglass world for $72 and everything covered in the warranty. The workers their notice my Daughters glasses were scratched up and ordered her brand new ones for free since she has a warranty. I would've never got a warranty if it didn't cover scratches read more

i've been coming to visionworks for about two years now since i moved out to arizona. In january i had to re-order contacts and they told me it would take about two weeks to come in but it ended up taking two and a half months to come in! i was stuck wearing glasses for two and a half months because they lost my order twice! Everytime i called the man on the phone would do what he could to help but and so I am grateful for that. Recently i had to reorder another set of contacts and instead ordered them to my school. I never received a notification saying that my contacts came in and thus I was worried that I would be stuck waiting for them for another two months and so I called today and told the girl on the phone what was going on and she called me back and told me that they did send it and to notify my school and see what's going on on their end. At the same time that this is going on my friend is at visionworks for her eye doctor appointment and i receive a text message saying that the workers were talking mad shit about me to each other saying that I was lying about not receiving my contacts. I called back to let them know that everything was fine and that the school just never notified me about my package coming in. I then expressed to the lady that I was upset about other customers being able to hear her talking poorly about me and she gave me straight attitude and was rude. Do not come here, will not be returning! read more

Horrible customer services. The lady that was helping me out was extremely rude. I just ask her one simple question and she answered back with attitude. Based off of some of the reviews I read, it seems like this place doesn't care about their customers. Would recommend going somewhere else, don't waste your time coming here. read more

They just see patient after patient . It's like an assembly line . Bad customer service my try on contacts are taking 4 weeks to get . I have never had to wait this long . My prescription is the same as before . I called for updates was told I'd be called back and nothing . Then was told to call back at certain hours. Do not go here for your eyewear . I regret it so much read more

I had an excellent experience at Visionworks. They were able to work within my coverage plan and my financial concerns. The customer service was excellent. They answered ever question and concern I had. The doctor was very knowledgeable and was out for my best interest. I will definitely be back. Thank you!!!!! read more

I would never recommend this facility to anyone. Everywhere I go and get a chance to talk about this practice I speak of the unsatisfactory Customer Service Rep. The front was not courteous at all and the Dr, was pleasant and seemed to know his profession. My main concern is I get a pamphlet that says my glasses will be ready by June 3 and the tech said some come back sooner than two weeks. Well, it. has now been almost 3 weeks since it is the 13th of the month, and when I called the animate said there is a delay. I am livid since I cannot read without them (glasses) also I have to drive at night back home from my job and can't see. I am a senior citizen and shouldn't be treated like this. I believed this is done purposely since I went there before the 3rd of June to ask if they can repair my old glasses with only one stem. They couldn't of course she said and I made a statement that this will be the last time that I patronize this company. read more

In fairness, this business like most optical stores is the result of Luxottica's market monopoly. Stores are reduced to being turnstile operations, selling cheap, plastic frames with the highest possible mark ups. Service, artistry, and attention to detail is a thing of the past and non existent(remember the old Pearl Vision commercials when your optician was your friend?)Took in a pair of sturdy, well made, vintage Ray Bans for a tint and you'd think I was speaking a foreign language. The rep gave me five excuses in 10 seconds as to why they couldn't do it. If you're looking for reasonable service, keep walking down a few yards to Alex Optical. Better hurry though, the staff is aging, and the Luxottica blimp is hovering. read more

I would suggest that no one should use this company. They never answer their phones no matter what time you call. They will not give a second referral for cataract surgery. Not good customer service at all. And I've told the Insurance carrier about them. read more

WARNING to all who goes in to get glasses, commission sales people whom are dishonest, rude and uncaring.. i went in today to get my lenses replaced,i bought the insurance, the lady says it will be 20.00 per glasses,(co pay)never was this mentioned before.so why did i give you 120.00 for insurance? the manager will be calling tommoro, lets see what he says, either way...do your self a favor..STAY away.. read more

Had my eye exam and got my glasses in November, in January I started getting headaches really bad. It was past my 30 day return policy but they took me in and gave me the lenses I really need they were a little bit extra but at least I didn't have to have another eye exam and pay another $500 for my glasses. Stella helped me out this time, and she knew what she was doing which was a blessing. My only regret is that it's going to take 12 days to get my glasses back, and I had to go back to my old glasses. I wish they would have realized that I had the wrong lenses the first time I will definitely go back but I will be requesting Stella she is a pleasure to deal with and you should give her a raise. read more

My review is for the optometrist/vision exam. The front office staff (Josh) and Dr. Anna provided Amazing customer service. I was able schedule online same day appointment. The receptionist/technician contacted my insurance company and made sure that my exam was covered. My vision insurance can be a pain to deal with. Josh did this All while multi tasking with several unscheduled walk ins clientele. The optometrist was excellent as well. Definitely a perfectionist dedicated to ensuring that I had the most accurate prescription. This is my go to vision place the location is not so great but the customer service is always on point and I get my needs met. I would definitely recommend. I have purchased eyewear in the past from this location as well. read more

It is the first time we visited the Visionworks at Christown. It is the end of day, I am tired with my restless child. Shoutout to Amanda! Terrible service! Didn't even say hi or bye wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! And I have a lot of friends that need glasses

This has to be the worst place ever! General manager is such a dick! So disrespectful one of the employees asked for his help and he basically just walked away and said go ask somebody else.. never again, everyone else is nice but he's just on another level read more

I looked everywhere for frames and finally found some at visionworks. Their selection was the best and I was shocked that they had such good prices. They have a great selection of clearance frames for only $69. Mike V one of the managers was extremely nice and helpful. He helped me when I had a problem with my frames and he worked really hard to get the problem fixed as quickly as possible. We also ended up finding my mom some frames there and her glasses were done and ready to pick up in only a couple days. read more

The biggest issue that I had with this place is that they would relentlessly try to upsell me and it was annoying. I get that it is their job to try to get more money out their customers but how may times must you say no?! Glasses selection is average. read more

Used to go here when it was Nationwide, and tried several other local and national optical stores over the last 5 years. Am convinced there are no local optical businesses that are moderately priced and do good work, and another national chain is basically overpriced and second rate in both fitting and making the lenses. Just got a new pair yesterday, and for the first time in 5 years I can see clearly. Don't bother to shop around the Phoenix area for a hometown optician as I found it a complete waste of my time and eyesight. VisionWorks, I'm back to stay!! read more
