Stay away. I came here to replace some old lenses. They messed up my prescription lenses 2 times. Kept having to go back and forth between and optometrist and this store to confirm some bad work done by the front office lady and their labs. The lady at the front wrote down the wrong PD the first time. When the glasses finally came back, the right lens was still slightly blurry at the top 1/3 of the lens. After that, I just asked for a refund and the lady had to remove the lenses and told me the insurance money wouldn't go back to them for a month. So now, I am out my original pair of lens and I have to wait a month and am stuck being blind until the insurance money goes back to the insurance. Then, I can get my lenses replaced. Also, the old man gives a lot of attitude for no reason. None of this was my fault. read more

Dr. Ochoa was prompt and efficient. I arrived 2 min late for appo, I didn't wait 5 min to get the eye exam started. Retail space in front of the store is separate entity so you'd pay Dr's office separately. If you are buying glasses from this location, ask for Joe for help. Literally just left. The person at the front desk was curt and standoffish but the doctor seemed like he may have been nice but I'm not sure...I wasn't able to be seen. I have never been to a doctors office that did not have a bathroom for patients. And during a pandemic I am supposed to try on glasses and contacts without being able to wash my hands?? I arrived for an eye exam and ordered my glasses that day was great excellent customer service and doctor was informative. When my glasses arrived same thing no complaints I left and attempted to wear my glasses my vision looking straight was great however if I looked right or left is was so distorted I could not drive with them I allowed a day thinking I needed to get used to new prescription. I ended up taking them back where I waited over an hour while the person researched the problem she kept saying "I don't see a problem" Are you sure its your glasses? I explained there is a problem she took my glasses assured me I would receive a call back the next day. On the 3rd day I called them and was informed they are making me a new pair in which they did not rush knowing I had no other glasses nor call me to follow up I spoke to them about getting a refund I was told when these come back "Fine" you can have a refund then rudely said "Is that it"? I ask when can I expect the new one the response I received is "I just said next Monday" and "Bye" disconnecting the call. if i could give this place a negarive stars i would. my husband and i went in there in august for glassed thru our insurance, the exam and doctors were ok,, but when our glassed came in his were correct and good for him, he wears bifocals and a serious presciption. i wear only reading glasses and the minimum of 1.25 at dollar store and walgreens etc,,, so mine should have been easy , right?? not , they were not correct too strong or something , so i sent them back for a redo,,, we are still waiting its almost going on 2 months now. i think they must have lost them or something, but we will never never ever go back to them and everyone will know they cant even do a simple reading glasses. read more

Really nice customer service, affordable prices, well educated staff from front desk to doctors, in general is a great place to get your eyes checked. The only issue I found there is the cleaning, they have to focus a little bit more on that because the instruments they used on you are filthy and they have a smell of dirtiness. read more

He was very pleasant, attentive, and really helped to assist us in finding the perfect pair of my daughters first glasses. Very, very expensive (compared to Costco) In March I purchased two pairs of glasses, paying over $780 for the frames and lenses. A few months later I scratched the lenses on one of the glasses, so needed new lenses. I did not purchase the insurance policy because in 30 years of wearing glasses this has never been an issue. At first they wanted $325 for new lenses for one pair, using my existing frames. I thought that was way too high so they gave me a "discount" to $265. That still seemed too expensive so the saleslady promised to talk with "corporate" to see what she could do. She never called back so I had to go in to find out what was happening. I was not offered any additional reduction so I went across the isle to Costco and they quoted me $75, plus $25 because the frames were purchased somewhere else. $265 at Visionworks versus $100 at Costco - what would you do? For the $165 savings I can buy my grandchildren Christmas presents rather than paying a huge commission to the salesperson at Visionworks. Shame on you. read more

I went to Visionworks (which is about 10 miles out of my way) to look into getting some new eyeglasses. Right away, it was evident that the staff are commission based employees. I was greeted with a handshake (which was great) and during my entire time of being there, I was followed closely and bothered with nonsensical suggestions. I couldn't just browse without being hounded. I finally found a pair I liked and sat down with an older gentleman. I knew what my insurance coverage amounts were before driving to this location, however the gentleman insisted on telling me the insurance wouldn't really cover what they say they cover. He started writing down the price for my out of pocket expenses and before I knew it, I felt as though I was purchasing a car; not only because of the process, but also the price. AND THEY WEREN'T EVEN DESIGNER GLASSES!!! I will NOT be back to Visionworks in the future. I had a great experience in 2011 at a different location but after this visit, I'll stick with their competitors. read more

I've been a customer for many years. The prices are affordable, the orders come on or before the date they say they will, and the staff is friendly and will go the extra mile for you. I ordered contacts, and this wonderful woman spent ten minutes figuring out/calling my insurance and figured out a way to get them with $0 out of pocket costs! Don't even bother getting a warranty. Hi I have scratches on my glasses and I have a warranty but they're still trying to make me pay $122. Guess I'll just take my ass back to eyeglass world it's way better I go there for my daughter. I can't remember why I came here in the first place lmao you can get 2 glasses at eyeglass world for $72 and everything covered in the warranty. i've been coming to visionworks for about two years now since i moved out to arizona. In january i had to re-order contacts and they told me it would take about two weeks to come in but it ended up taking two and a half months to come in! i was stuck wearing glasses for two and a half months because they lost my order twice! Everytime i called the man on the phone would do what he could to help but and so I am grateful for that. Recently i had to reorder another set of contacts and instead ordered them to my school. I never received a notification saying that my contacts came in and thus I was worried that I would be stuck waiting for them for another two months and so I called today and told the girl on the phone what was going on and she called me back and told me that they did send it and to notify my school and see what's going on on their end. At the same time that this is going on my friend is at visionworks for her eye doctor appointment and i receive a text message saying that the workers were talking mad shit about me to each other saying that I was lying about not receiving my contacts. I called back to let them know that everything was fine and that the school just never notified me about my package coming in. I then expressed to the lady that I was upset about other customers being able to hear her talking poorly about me and she gave me straight attitude and was rude. I would never recommend this facility to anyone. Everywhere I go and get a chance to talk about this practice I speak of the unsatisfactory Customer Service Rep. The front was not courteous at all and the Dr, was pleasant and seemed to know his profession. My main concern is I get a pamphlet that says my glasses will be ready by June 3 and the tech said some come back sooner than two weeks. Well, it. has now been almost 3 weeks since it is the 13th of the month, and when I called the animate said there is a delay. I am livid since I cannot read without them (glasses) also I have to drive at night back home from my job and can't see. I am a senior citizen and shouldn't be treated like this. I believed this is done purposely since I went there before the 3rd of June to ask if they can repair my old glasses with only one stem. In fairness, this business like most optical stores is the result of Luxottica's market monopoly. Stores are reduced to being turnstile operations, selling cheap, plastic frames with the highest possible mark ups. Service, artistry, and attention to detail is a thing of the past and non existent(remember the old Pearl Vision commercials when your optician was your friend?)Took in a pair of sturdy, well made, vintage Ray Bans for a tint and you'd think I was speaking a foreign language. The rep gave me five excuses in 10 seconds as to why they couldn't do it. If you're looking for reasonable service, keep walking down a few yards to Alex Optical. Better hurry though, the staff is aging, and the Luxottica blimp is hovering. read more

Had my eye exam and got my glasses in November, in January I started getting headaches really bad. It was past my 30 day return policy but they took me in and gave me the lenses I really need they were a little bit extra but at least I didn't have to have another eye exam and pay another $500 for my glasses. Stella helped me out this time, and she knew what she was doing which was a blessing. My only regret is that it's going to take 12 days to get my glasses back, and I had to go back to my old glasses. I wish they would have realized that I had the wrong lenses the first time I will definitely go back but I will be requesting Stella she is a pleasure to deal with and you should give her a raise. read more

My review is for the optometrist/vision exam. The front office staff (Josh) and Dr. Anna provided Amazing customer service. I was able schedule online same day appointment. The receptionist/technician contacted my insurance company and made sure that my exam was covered. My vision insurance can be a pain to deal with. Josh did this All while multi tasking with several unscheduled walk ins clientele. The optometrist was excellent as well. Definitely a perfectionist dedicated to ensuring that I had the most accurate prescription. This is my go to vision place the location is not so great but the customer service is always on point and I get my needs met. I would definitely recommend. I looked everywhere for frames and finally found some at visionworks. Their selection was the best and I was shocked that they had such good prices. They have a great selection of clearance frames for only $69. Mike V one of the managers was extremely nice and helpful. He helped me when I had a problem with my frames and he worked really hard to get the problem fixed as quickly as possible. Am convinced there are no local optical businesses that are moderately priced and do good work, and another national chain is basically overpriced and second rate in both fitting and making the lenses. Just got a new pair yesterday, and for the first time in 5 years I can see clearly.
