So I finally went online to find a place I could get an eye exam which led me to Rothbloom Eye Care. I saw that they had availability when I was free and I could easily book my appointment online. After about a 15 minute ride, I pulled into their parking lot which had plenty of available spacing even though it still appeared that they had a lot of customers inside. Once inside, I checked in and was called within a few minutes after my arrival. After that, the proceeds was very efficient. The eye exam ran like a well oiled machine! I'm glad I found this eye care facility and will be back next year for my annual exam.

I had an appointment with Dr. Rothbloom about two years ago. Initially he seemed pleasant, but over…read morethe course of the visit his manner felt condescending and dismissive. I did not feel listened to or respected, and the overall experience was uncomfortable. During the visit, he suggested bifocal contact lenses. I declined. He then told me that the contact lens prescription he arrived at was "the best he could do" because my eyes were "in between." The contacts were uncomfortable, and I struggled to see clearly both near and far. I remained in that prescription for about a year and a half, assuming the issue was my eyes rather than the fit. Recently, I saw my longtime optometrist, who reviewed that prescription and told me it was not an appropriate fit from the start. He restarted the exam from scratch and fitted me with a completely different type of contact lens. The improvement in comfort and vision was immediate. He also explained that bifocal contacts should not have been suggested to me based on my age and what he observed during the exam, as they were unnecessary. This was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with an optometrist, and I'm relieved to be back with a provider I trust now that I've moved. I'm sharing this so others feel empowered to seek a second opinion if something doesn't feel right.

Subject: Request for DMV Change Waiver Assistance…read more Dear [Recipient's Name], I reached out to the office of Hashimi to obtain a DMV change waiver for the state of Georgia. Due to my eye disease, I inquired whether my provider could complete the necessary form. I was informed that my primary care provider (PCP) needed to complete it, which is not an issue. However, my PCP is a nurse practitioner. According to state regulations, a nurse practitioner cannot complete the medical waiver form for my vehicle; it must be filled out by either my optometrist, who is familiar with my diagnosis, or my medical doctor. Given my eye disease and additional issues like migraines and light sensitivity, I find it concerning that she suggested I find another optometrist to complete the form. I do not understand why I am being directed to seek assistance from a different optometrist when my current one should be able to help with this request. Thank you, I will take your advice and find myself a new optometrist.

I usually visit a private dr in Savannah where I live and then before that I went to target optical in the perimeter area. Reflections eyecare is located in the Brookhaven shopping center. Parking is pretty scarce as the shopping plaza is always busy but there are numerous parking garages. I had high hopes for this place because of the location. When I initially called in the gentleman I spoke to over the phone was very courteous and friendly. On my appointment visit I arrived early and was given paperwork to fill out. The rep helping me then was also friendly. I went through the initial eye process then met the dr. The Dr was also friendly and provided me with my new contacts. I also had my eyes dilated. This part was soo foreign to me and I ended up not being able to see for 2-3 hour after. I had to wait until it wore off a bit because I didn't bring a driver. I wish there would've been more communication on that part. My least favorite part was the ordering of the actual contacts. They called me in one time and said my contacts arrived so I went up 1 week after my eye exam and was excited to have contacts... but unfortunately it was just another sample set of contacts. I thought this part was just a tad inconvenient to the consumer because I had to wait another week to actually get my contacts in my hand. They do ship to your house free of charge so that was a pro. They seem to use a third party vendor for your contacts and when I received them they were mislabeled as daily wears... I was confused and also bothered because I ordered a 6 month supply. I called back on the next business day and was told this was actually a 6 month supply & that they're sorry the vendor labeled it that way... very confusing! Final Verdict: I don't think I'll go back here. I'm just used to getting contacts on the same day as my eye exam and I didn't like waiting 2 weeks for my particular contacts. They definitely got the job done as far as my contact needs so they get 3 stars, there were just too many hiccups for my particular liking!

You are not allowed to refuse. Most places charge $30 for the same tests and offer dilation for free as an option. The staff seemed nice but forced to robotically say the same line to customers all day about the doctor insistence on these mandatory additional charges. I looked up the charges on my phone as soon as they told me about it and found out that dilation was usually an option and that the charge was on the highest end of typical, so walked out and found somewhere else nearby later that same day and am so glad I did. I'll review them separately. Again the place is fine the employees are nice and the eyeglass sales woman was very committed and dedicated and interested but whoever makes their policies is out to make the most money possible with the least work possible.

I called ahead to ask if they do eyeglass frame repair on frames I purchased from them in 2013. They said yes and gave me the address of their location (here) that is open Mondays. (Their East Cobb location is not open Mondays.) I showed up very soon after they opened. I recognized Dr. Patel even though it had been over ten years. I explained the two things wrong with my glasses. A member of her team at the front desk examined them and agreed they could be repaired easily. In fewer than 15 minutes, someone walked to the lobby with the repaired glasses. Amazing! In this day and age when so much comes extra, when businesses are squeezed to nickel and dime their customers to make ends meet, I genuinely expected to be charged for this repair. Blazingly fast service and no pressure to buy anything even though it had been over ten years since they made a penny off me?
