I placed an order with Target Optical on September 30th for a pair of Ray-Ban Meta glasses totaling over $600, choosing in-store pickup at the Perimeter location. According to UPS tracking, the order was delivered to the store on October 10th at 10:56 a.m. and signed for by someone with the last name Patel. When I arrived on October 11th to pick up my glasses, no one in the store could locate them. A staff member named Chad was the only person who truly tried to help--he searched the Optical Department, the receiving area, and even brought in Tasha, a Team Leader from Customer Service. Despite their efforts, my order was nowhere to be found. Another staff member, possibly an assistant manager, confirmed they had checked all deliveries and said no one named Patel even works there. So, if UPS shows the glasses were signed for and no one on staff claims responsibility, the only reasonable conclusion is that my $600 glasses were stolen after delivery. I asked for a refund, and was directed back to the Optical Department. That's when things went from bad to unbelievable. Jasmine, the employee there, refused to contact Target Optical's online or corporate support to help resolve the issue--she simply told me I'd have to wait until Monday. When I calmly asked her to make an effort to reach someone who could assist, she refused. Then, instead of offering any customer service, she called Security and had me removed from the store. I was escorted out for doing nothing more than asking for help with a missing $600 order that was confirmed delivered. The security guard even admitted, "You're being asked to leave just because they asked you to leave." Meanwhile, Chad confirmed I had done absolutely nothing wrong. The lack of accountability here is astounding. My order didn't just "go missing"--it was clearly delivered, signed for, and disappeared under Target's watch. Chad and Tasha deserve credit for trying to do the right thing, but the rest of the experience was a disgrace. Target Optical and Target's Perimeter management need to investigate how an expensive order could be delivered, signed for, and never reach the customer--and why a paying customer was treated so poorly when asking for help. read more

Impossible to contact anyone on the phone, or leave a voice mail, since their inbox is full. My call was received after three times... except no one was on the other side of the phone to respond. Unfortunately I will have to stick to this location due to them having my contacts, but be warned. Appointments are impossible to book/change, and when I called last week, I was able to get hold of a receptionist to book me for 12/20 at 2:30pm. Except I never received a confirmation booking! Horrid service and attitude from Kathy at the Target Perimeter location, who makes it severely unapproachable to get your glasses. She need not be working in customer service and should resign! After the eye exam we had a few questions but the way we were treated by Kathy was highly unacceptable. Rigid, mean, and pretends not to understand or gives you the nasty look and attitude if you ask a question. She is only interested in charging you the highest price and getting you out. Instead of providing the time and service they completely lost our entire family as customers. Stay away from Target Optical. Target you can keep her and cater to her crappy behavior and as you can see, we kept our money and left. This has been my worse experience ever from an optical service. It has been almost a month and still I have not received my glasses that I need. These people keep saying a different date all the time. I advice you NOT to get your glasses done here. I was recommended to come here, I don't have vision insurance so I needed a low copay and good quality prescription. The staff was very friendly and helpful, as well as the doctor. The receptionist helped me pick out a pair of frames and explained the special packages. Appointment was $70 my frames and lenses were $200 along with a $34 insurance on my pair. My appointment lasted about 25 minutes and my glasses were ready for pick up in less than a week. I can finally see and they are soooo cute exactly what I was hoping for. When I asked the 2 ladies at checkout if they could explain what my condition was as I am not knowledgeable in this and it was my first ever eye test, they wouldnt do it. I went to another Optical store, and they want to charge me $500.00 for my glasses. The frames were only 50.00 and the rest of the fee were for lens. I got my progressive lenses and Armani Frames for $275.00, and received the glasses in a week. read more

I have had a very frustrating experience with Target Optical. First, the optometrist kept insisting I try a different lens from the ones I've been happy with for years. I finally agreed but ended up having an allergic reaction to the silicone hydrogel in the lens he recommended. I called the next day to cancel my order for those lenses, and Target Optical told me that they couldn't cancel the order, and that I would have to wait for the order to be delivered and then bring them to Target Optical. They also could not put the refund on my Target debit card which I had used to pay for the lenses. They said they would cut a paper check for the refund. They said they would order the new lenses and call me when they arrived. I waited and waited and they never called. I kept calling but they said the lenses hadn't arrived. Three weeks later, I ran out of lenses to wear while waiting. Each time I called Target Optical, I was told a different story. Eventually it was discovered that the lenses had arrived, but the staff couldn't find them. They then called me to say they found them. I asked them to please have the refund check ready with the lenses, and was told they would do so. However, when my husband went to pick up the lenses, the check couldn't be found. They won't mail the check to me so now I have to make a separate trip to this Target, which is not close to my house, to get the refund check (for the price difference between the two sets of lenses). Needless to say, I will not be returning to this place for future care, as this office is terribly disorganized! read more

Before I start I want to notice Chad, in this optical store, he exemplifies what it means to provide excellent customer service, regardless!!! I give him and only him FIVE 5 STARS! I wanted to say what a horrible experience that I have had at this store. MAINLY because of The manager 'Neesha' she is very hateful, and spoke to me like I was a child from day 1, I ordered TWO pairs of glasses and when I received them I had an issue with my Coach pair frames. They didn't sit on my face right and after several adjustments, the sales associate said he would send them back as it was a defective pair. When they came in everything was perfect, the frames fit perfectly and lenses looked great. Now I want to say that I wear contacts daily, and I wear my glasses here and there. So, yesterday I was cleaning my glasses and noticed a cloudy mark on the top left part of the inside of my right lens, cleaned it and it was still there, popped the lens out and there were three of them, but only on the inside of the right lens. I went into target and showed the sales associate and he agreed that it must be a defective lens. We did a swap through the register and I was told that I would recieve my new lenses within 3-5 days. I then got a phone call that it was going to be a charge of $50.00. I was confused as to why I was paying for a replacement of a defective lens. Well the manager 'Neesha' came on the line and told me that I have to pay $170.00 for the replacement frames. The original cost that I paid when I first ordered them. I have only had these glasses for 6 weeks and I have probably worn them 5-6 times for short periods. Neesha tells me that she will offer me the optional worry free plan for only $60.00 even after I had already purchased them. I explained to her over her talking over me the whole entire phone conversation that Why would I pay for something again when I am dealing with a defective lens. I tell her that when I clean them I use the complimentary wipes they gave me and my glasses cleaner with Kleenex. The whole entire phone conversation she is just talking away, talking over me, Not listening, Not letting me speak. She starts pointing the finger at me, she says that I damaged the lens. She says that it was damaged in my care due to "environmental factors" how I take care of them, if I clean them with windex etc. Again, I have had these for 6 weeks and worn them like 5 times, she even brought up the fact that I had sent the frames back the first time because they were defective, Which they were, like that was a courtesy to me or something?? They didn't fit right, I buy stuff that are correct not half okay. I don't really understand why or what that has to do with my defective lens. I believe Neesha is the type of person that points and blames others for things. I definitely do not know why she is in customer service when you can tell that she is horrible at customer satisfaction. I do not like even being in that store because she's in there. I definitely think corporate needs to give her a refresher course on customer service, or a replacement. I don't know why anyone should have to pay for another pair of lenses that they have had for less than six weeks, because "it has to be the customers fault, due to 'environmental factors' ". My advice to you is go to another target optical because this Neesha girl is a pain in the derrière to deal with. Now I am waiting on corporate to handle this and correct the error because this girl doesn't know what she's doing. Oh and I have a 90 day Unconditional Guarantee, so I guess I will need to return my pair for an exchange of the SAME PAIR. This is redundant and this girl needs to consider a job change. I was referred to Target Optical through the EyeMed website for my contacts. I didn't even know Target had an optical department. At first I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't order online and figured I would have to make a trip to the store in person (not something I wanted to do). So, when I called this Target Optical location I was fully expecting to be told I'd have to come in. Instead, the lovely person on the other end of the phone (I believe her name was Nisha) told me to fax over my new Rx and she would handle the rest. She did just that! Less than ten minutes later she called me back, had my insurance coverage already pulled up, took my order over the phone and is having them mailed straight to my house! I was very pleasantly surprised to say the least. Nisha should definitely be commended for her positive attitude and helpful demeanor. It is rare to find these days. I will definitely go back to Target Optical again based on this experience. read more

I really enjoy Target Optical-Perimeter. When you arrive for your eye exam you will be pleasantly surprised by a friendly staff and short wait time. Dr. Kim is kind and knowledgeable throughout his optical consultation and exam. Although I did not require a prescription I noticed they offer a variety of both eyeglass & sunglass brands. Some appeared to be specific to Target such as Mossimo and other common names such as RayBan, Coach, etc. read more

So I visited this location about two weeks ago to purchase some new frames and this has been the best experience I have ever had. The associate by the name of chad was very informative and attentive.
