Doc was super sweet, made me feel at ease and was super professional. easiest eye exam experience. She was patient and even took the time to break down everything to me. Didn't feel rushed at all and yet I was in and out in no time. I'm definitely doing business with this location moving forward! After my eye exam was taken care of, I was fitted for my lenses and even had multiple additional options offered to me by the nicest lady ever. Everyone was down to earth and relaxed. This is the worst sales associate working at Target Optical. I bought a Ray Ban Meta, and she was so friendly when I bought it. After that, when I complained about stuff, she just ignored me or did not provide a reasonable accommodation. I finally had to call Target Optical HQ, and they were quite reasonable about how to help. So, if you have any problems with their products, don't use her; just call the helpline. read more

It is nearly impossible to contact this office after a visit. I have been trying to put in a contacts order for the last 24 hours with no answer from the office (multiple calls). I'm out of contacts, and this is very frustrating. I can't order online because they have falsely put that I already used my insurance benefits. I tried contacting Target Optical online, and they say that only the store associate can reverse the hold they put on my insurance (for something I did not order with them)...they have also not sent me my prescription as promised. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience. Great doctors though! Both that I've seen are thorough and do everything as requested. I will not be back despite the good doctors. read more

Quick and Dr. Goh is professional and speaks to you like a peer. I was in and out quickly.

After all these years, I think I may have finally found my one long term eye doctor. I made my reservation online and was very happy to view the doctor's availability and a few clicks later, I have a reservation for Saturday and even got very helpful reminders via SMS. When I arrived at 9, I was promptly processed and met Dr.Goh. She was ready to start and in no time at all, my vision and eye health was assessed. Dr.Goh was friendly, cheerful and very helpful. She was also very efficient. In 30 mins, I got my exam done, both for glasses and contacts. She helped me explore ways to deal with my aging eyes. I think I have never met a more patient and helpful eye doctor ever. Well, i hope Dr.Goh will stay at this establishment for a little cos I do intend to come back here again next year. read more

DO NOT GO HERE 1) They sent the WRONG prescription in for my glasses and spent 3 weeks trying to tell me my eyes "just were adapting" before finally acknowledging a huge mistake... sending the wrong numbers to the lens maker. 2) They wrongfully diagnosed a dangerously thin retina that put me at risk of losing all vision, so I spent tons of cash to see a real Ophthalmologist... who actually laughed out loud and told me he had no idea what they were talking about. He was personally baffled to the point of contacting them himself with photos of my perfectly fine retinas. 3) I just attempted to get my prior prescription to buy a pair of glasses from somewhere else (go figure!) and they actually refuse to release my own information to me. REAL TIME DEVELOPMENT - now they've called me back to release the prescription after a sudden change of heart. Surely, it was not me telling them I was about to write a full review of my experience with them. My advice: Don't trust this place. My head hurts and it isn't from my eyesight. read more

Dr. Jessica is so AWESOME... So I've been wearing contacts for 25+ years... She was so helpful, knowledgeable and fun to talk with during my examination. She is also a magician... We talked about LASIK and she helped me see what it would look like if I did one eye near, and one eye far with different lens power... OMG... I no longer have to make sure I have to have Reader Glasses all the time... I can see my phone, computer screen and car dash with my contacts... cant wait to get LASIK. read more

Dr Goh and Jennifer were very professional, friendly, kind and attentive. Dr Goh conducted the exam and agreed to dilate and check for glaucoma. I appreciate that she took the time to explain everything and answer my questions. I have never been here before. My last optometrist was fine, but my husband came here and raved about his experience, so I figured I'd try it since it was convenient and my last dr. didn't have an appointment for over a week. Dr. Goh was very easy to work with. She did a great job of balancing being social and efficient. I did not feel like she was just chatting forever for the sake of chatting, but also felt like she genuinely cared about what I was talking about. She did a great job of fitting my contacts, allowing me to try on multiple different pairs to find the type I liked best. Target Optical was ok overall. The optometrist was nice and helpful but they didn't have the brand of my usual ñcontacts Air Optics so I couldn't get my contact fitting properly which I paid extra for. I wish I could have gotten the fitting done with my actual brand I wear also the associates were a little bias. I waited patiently and paid and another lady walked in after me who was white and they helped her before me. I won't be back simply because of this. I spend my money with those who value me as a patient. read more

The employees and Dr. Petanovich are truly amazing. I never thought I would go to an optical store inside a Target, but they were the most helpful, caring, and patient staff. I went in to get an eye exam and I wanted to try daily contacts. They fit me in quickly and sent me on my way with a ton of contacts. A week or so later, I realized that I was having problems with my daily lens. I couldn't tolerate them. Dr. Petanovich fit me in quickly so I could try new daily lens. She sent me home with 2 different kinds of lens, each with a 5 day supply. I still had difficulty with the lens. She ordered me some high end daily lens trials, which thankfully were a success. The exchange of my old contacts was painless. The staff here are really great. They are patient, caring, compassionate, and truly the most helpful people I have come across in Atlanta. when I called to check pricing for exams, I was told an incorrect amount and ended up spending more than twice the price I was expecting to pay, but I'm still giving this place a 5-star review, simply because Dr. Goh was so great. she made me feel so at ease and comfortable. she is friendly and answered all my questions clearly. As a working professional, time is limited and valuable. Every year, I dread going to the optometrist because it takes at least an hour to get my same old prescription and the Acuvue Oasys contact lens. My experience in this optical store was different. I was in and out of the store within 30 mins with a box of 24 contact lens in my hands. Dr. Goh was friendly and helpful in explaining my dry eye issues and provided tips to manage them. Although I didn't need them, there was a great selection of high end glasses. Clavear was the optician who helped me. He was professional and helpful at explaining my insurance coverage. He ordered my box of contact lens and thankfully it was in stock. I shall be back! read more

I was hesitant to try Target Optical because I've always gone to a private practice but I was very happy with my decision to go! I have a pretty packed schedule during the week, so the option to have my eye exam on the weekend was a huge plus! They had openings for every day of the week, and I was able to quickly schedule an appointment. The staff was very friendly, and Dr. Goh was wonderful. Even though they were busy and I had to get my eyes dilated, I was finished in 45 minutes. Dr. Goh was an excellent optometrist but also a very nice person! She was thorough and didn't keep me waiting at all. I'm definitely going back. Plus, Target price matches 1-800contacts, so I didn't have to shop around and have the hassle of ordering contacts on my own. read more

I will say my initial experience with this locations Target Optical was great! The staff and Dr. Goh were wonderful. I ordered a pair of glasses right after my exam on 8/9 and were told that it takes 14 days for the glasses to arrive and that I would receive a call/text when they were in. Fast forward 14 days(on a Thursday), I did not receive any notification that they had arrived so I called and asked about the status. They lady who I spoke with said that I was on the list for the delivery the next day(Friday). I said okay, next day came and again no call or text. So the next day (Saturday 8/25) I called and spoke to a gentleman that said he was going to call the lab and get the tracking number since it said they had been shipped on 8/14 and that he would call me back. A couple hours later he calls and says the tracking number states that my glasses arrived with a shipment of glasses earlier in the week but he stated they weren't in the shipment they received like the tracking number states. So he told me that the lab lost them and that they would replace my order as a rush status and that they should be here in 7 days. Fast forward to 9/3 (7 days later) , I call to check on the status and I am told that my glasses will be shipping on 9/10!!!!! When I asked how that was possible since it was put in as a rush order I was told that because it was back to school season they were busy. So IF my glasses do ship out on the 10th like it says, it will have taken OVER A MONTH to receive a pair of glasses. All due to THEIR error. This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional and I do not recommend this place to anyone looking to get their glasses in a timely manner. read more
