A few months ago, as a longtime customer, I called the office, trying to get an answer to a simple question. Would my insurance cover an eye exam and or new glasses. After over five hours of being on hold waiting for someone to answer the phone or waiting for someone to get back to me who said they would get right back to me. I still did not have an answer. During this experience, I did not receive even a partial apology, but was as though somehow this was my problem. Not the type of treatment I would expect as a longtime customer. Highway robbery. Dishonest hidden fees. Uncomfortable testing. Ridiculous wait time even with appointment.

Almost a month to prepare my glasses and when I pickup them up, the order is wrong. Now I have to to wait longer for this to be corrected. read more

I am extremely disappointed in this facility. Everything was perfectly fine until it was time to pick-up my prescription eyeglasses (expensive frames if I might add) with the full works (scratch resistant, transition lenses, anti-reflective). I received notification to pick-up my glasses and upon arrival, I loved the glasses but noticed the glasses were already damaged and had scratches to the lenses already. Mistakes happen and that is completely understandable. However, I didnt hear back for weeks and reached out multiple times via email and phone call and received no response. All of my emails and phone calls were ignored. They have multiple phone numbers (no voicemails, calls just end) and emails listed and by the grace of God I got lucky one day. They informed me after a little longer than two weeks that my glasses would be ready on Wednesday. However, I never received any email or phone call but assumed it was ready and went to the facility to pick up my glasses. Upon arrival, I was told that the lab had now damaged the frame. This is why I hadnt received a call and it would now be another two weeks until I am able to get my glasses and this is best-case scenario because the frames are on back-order. I was offered a refund, but I have already spent hundreds of dollars as well as used my insurance for the year on these glasses with this facility / company. I am extremely upset because I need these glasses to see and the team being unresponsive and not communicating this beforehand is unprofessional. Especially, since this is my second time having to leave work for essentially no reason. Once I receive my glasses (whenever that will be), this will be my first and last time going to this facility. read more

I came to this location for the first time today and it was a great experience. The staff was very nice and professional! I also love the Covid procedures. When you walk in, they provide you with a new mask and also sanitize your hands. This location is operating by appointment only so there are only a few guests in the store at a time. D nicely greeted me when I came in and explained how the process would go. She did a great job answering all of my questions and ensuring that I was aware of my vision benefits. I saw Dr. Lamb and he was very personable and did a thorough job during the eye examination and also provided his recommendation for the type of lenses that would best suited for my needs. This location also has a wide variety of eyeglasses and sunglasses to choose from. I was surprised at the number of brands this location carried, including designer brands. Justin helped me with eyeglasses selection and answering questions about my prescription. Really enjoyed my experience here, great location, customer service and selection of frames. I really wanted to like this place. However, when arriving, the woman who "assisted" me was rude, unprofessional, argumentative, unwelcoming, and offered no customer service. I came in and instead of welcoming me into the business, where I was in need of new glasses and had made an appointment as a new customer, the woman gave me a look and asked (with an attitude) "can I help you?" When I relayed that I was there because of my appointment, she offered me a raggedy chair that was cracked, worn, and uncomfortable. Moreover, there was not much of a waiting area and it felt cramped. After giving my insurance card, I was told me that she couldn't find my insurance. She offered to reschedule my appointment or said I could call my provider. Although I needed a new prescription and glasses, I was so disgusted by the attitude/tone of the staff that I decided to go elsewhere; I never made it to the optometrist. Other reviewers have cited 5 stars and VIP service, but I saw none of that today. Given the treatment, I will go somewhere else in Atlanta. read more

Very unprofessional staff. Here a few issues that I had with them: - The store made me a defective pair of sunglasses that I left in my car and didn't use very much. Later when I realized that the polarized lenses were placed in the wrong angle (you can't see GPS screens because of that) they told me that I had the glasses for a while and even tough they were defective they could not fix it. - They delivered a pair of eyeglasses that had the logo of the glass manufacturer on the corner of one lens. After I showed it to them they ordered a new lens (no quality control?). - They double charged me for an eye exam visit. After several calls with their headquarters they found the double charge and corrected the issue. - I called and asked for my retina images from an eye exam a couple years ago, I'm having a retina issue and the specialist I'm seeing said it would be very helpful to be able compare old and new images to see the evolution of the disease. The sales person told me that they would send me these images. I never got the images. I called later and another sales person told me that they would call me by 5pm on that day to let me know the status of these images, if they have it or not. I never got a call. Needless to say, they are careless about patients, they just want to sell you frames and glasses. I would give ZERO stars but 1 is the minimum... read more

Horrible service. They don't tell you they only give a 10 minute grace period. I drove an hour to get here, took off work, called right at my appointment time to say I was running a few mins late due to traffic, and arrived at the building 9 minutes late due to horrible traffic and struggled to find the entrance. While searching they called and cancelled on me saying I was too late instead of helping me find the building. Will reschedule elsewhere. read more

Expensive. I was also charged warranty fee of $20 which I was never informed of, be sure to ask for a detailed invoice on your services and glasses-especially if using insurance. I was charged $40 for them to take photo of my eye (why would that not be included in price of exam, or why was I not informed of the extra cost before that test was performed). The staff and doctor are nice (Tony Lam is the doctor) but the rows & rows of glass frames are overwhelming and they have "40 % off 2nd Pair" signs all over the store, but apparently this only applies to certain frames. (Which ones?) The frames need to be charted out with signage such as "Frames Under $100"--"Frames $100-200" - "Frames $200+"; something to the effect so people don't get confused in there looking. The prices are located inside each pair of frames in tiny print, so take your readers with you if you are going because you have trouble seeing like I was. Most of the frames are designer frames, so very high in cost and they have what seems like thousands on display. If choosing frames in there I'd recommend asking for the lower cost frames (Which admittedly I failed to do), unless you are rich of course and don't mind paying way too much for your glasses. Just because the office is in "Buckhead" doesn't mean all who go there are rolling in dough. I got was a receipt for my payment, and that was it, so I had no idea what had cost what. The staff needs to know to introduce themselves, as I thought the 1st person who took me into the back was the doctor. When the doctor came out he just called my name and I didn't know his, and didn't until I got home and looked him up online. They should have business cards and offer one to everyone upon entering with the doctor's name, phone, etc., on it, and include one inside the bag when you pick up your new glasses. It took mine about 7 days to be made. In the end I am happy with my glasses, but wishing I went to one of the TV advertised places for my new glasses instead of what seems to be the most expensive place in Atlanta. I would have saved hundreds of dollars. read more

Horrible. Customer service is unprofessional and straight out rude sometimes. They only allow you to order contacts by calling them and giving your credit card info over the phone (why can't we order them online?!) Worst experience ever, because I ordered contacts over the phone (as required) and they ordered the WRONG prescription and tried to brush it off like it wasn't their fault. After calling to constantly see when my contacts would come in (I demanded them to be overnighted due to the inconvenience), one of the reps said I was "rude but I'm nice to look at, so it's okay." Initially very good customer service when picking out my frames: very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. The wait for the eye exam was too long(45 mins because of some urgent patient care) but I used my time to look for frames instead. The doctor wasn't very helpful on explaining my eye health...she was very quiet and I had to ask questions. Love my glasses, a few months later keep receiving a bill for $135 for an exam. I contacted EyeDr to resubmit the claim but they all were like yea we will take care of it. I keep receiving the bill 3x...each time a call, "yea we will take care of it". 4th bill...called my insurance, they contacted the eyedr and they apologized for not submitting the claim. Poor service...waste my time...running in circles because they didn't submit the claim when I initially told them. Also, I was charged for an extended-warranty that I don't even need. Never coming back or recommending this place. read more

I had a great experience here. Delia is a shining star! When I walked in I was promptly greeted. I asked a few questions and looked around. All the staff were great by the way. My boyfriend looked at Tom Fords and didn't see a particular pair he wanted. We showed it to Delia and she went out of her way to call around to see if another location had it. While there I scheduled my own eye exam. They didn't have they glasses he wanted, which was fine. We ordered the from another place and brought them back so they could put the lenses in them. I was able to fill out my paperwork when dropping the glasses off before my own appointment the next day. The next day, I went right in and had my exam. Again Delia was very helpful. Update: I recently ordered contacts online persuaded by the ease of having them delivered directly to me. It has been about 3 weeks and I have yet to receive my lenses. Also, when you call the customer service number you are prompted to leave a message. This is a hassle. It's time for my annual exam and I will be taking my business else where. read more

Went there for the first time for an eye exam and to buy contact lenses. The place was really nice and I received and great service. People seemed professional and knew what they were talking about. I purchased a year long supply of contact lenses, and according to the deal, they were throwing in a free sunglass. Seemed like a pretty good offer, however, they did not have a wide variety in the sunglasses to choose from, which kinda was disappointing. Dr. Tony is the nicest doctor I've ever had EVER and he actually teaches me about the inside of my eye so I know what the heck is going on haha. He's so kind and actually cares!!! the ladies at the front are so so sweet and helpful and are the most helpful when picking out glasses. This used to be Optique Atlanta which was fantastic. Now it's a chain and a zoo. They've crammed in three more desks In The small space. You don't even get a free trial size solution and contact case with your exam. The doctor was good but the rest felt dirty and as I was being pushed with add ons. Come on, really? This is an eye exam. I don't expect to be pushed to buy anything extra at a dr appointment. The girl (Latin) who checked me out had a hard time with math and didn't know the answers to any of my questions and talked way way too fast. I couldn't wait to get out of there and I used to love going. Janet is still there who is the nicest person ever. I hope they don't lose their #1 asset BC if this chain -wreck. Do not waste your money just because the frames look nice! I purchased glasses here using a prescription written by my primary eye doctor from another office. The glasses look great but they were worthless for seeing. Everything was distorted and I became dizzy when wearing these new and not inexpensive glasses. They attempted to fix the issue by replacing the frames. The lenses were worse the second time.I had to stop using my newly purchased glasses. I recently took the glasses to my primary doctor to check the prescription that My Eye Doctor put in my glasses...I finally found out the problem...My Eye Doctor lab put the prescription written for my left eye in the right side of the frames and the prescription written for my right eye was placed in the left side of the frames. I took them back to My Eye Dr. the same day. There were no apologies, the staff member didn't seem surprised or very concerned. He only offered to replace the lenses again. I don't trust that they really know what they are doing or even care. I will never go there again. read more

During my visit on 11/25/17 the staff at MyEyeDr was fantastic however Lindsey Eisenberg. was not. I was rushed and she was very insensitive. I would recommend visiting the 2549 Piedmont location as long as Lindsey Eisneberg is not going to perform your exam. read more

This used to be optique and they were slow to begin with. I had gone there several times and for some reason they could never find me in their computer system and I always had to re-enter everything. Now that they are MyEyeDr they are even worse. I only continued going because I didn't want to go through the hassle of finding another optometrist that accepts my vision insurance. Whenever I call requesting information they talk to me with no professionalism in their tone. And requesting anything like an invoice or status on an order takes an absurd amount of time. I've called 4 times now requesting an invoice so I can file for a rebate and each time they said they would email it to me and I have yet to receive the correct one (they almost got it one time but sent the wrong invoice). At this point I'm fed up and as soon as I get my invoice that's the last time I will be contacting them ever again. read more

They specialize in the eye issue that i've lived with all of my life and i've never heard of contacts that the doctor recommended. End result: I now have contacts that fit perfectly and my vision is awesome. Loved them when they were Optique Atlanta. Since the change, it has been a very unsatisfactory experience. It took several calls and emails just to schedule an appointment. I was then told I would receive a call once my contacts were in. Naturally, it did not happen and I had to call to verify they had received them. Only 3 of the 4 contacts were there when I picked them up. I was told, again, that they were going to call me once the last one arrived. Weeks passed, no call. I received a call from them asking to schedule my annual eye exam. Which I just had a month ago. The insanely unprofessional secretary was irritated that I asked if my contact had arrived. The call was then disconnected. I had to call back, where she put me on hold for almost 5 minutes. Then she got back on the phone proceeded to talk over me and raising her voice. When I asked her to stop talking over me, she hung up. I called back and spoke to a gentleman named Justin. He seems to be willing to help locate the contact that is missing at this point. Hoping he follows through with his promised assistance. I was willing to stay with them after the change only because of Dr Cee, but this was the icing on the cake for me. I will not be returning and based on how they interact with clients, I am sure they will not be concerned. read more
