Great front office staff and great doctors. I've seen multiple of them. They work with insurance.

I went to Vision Source in Northpark for a contact lens fitting. Even though I didn't purchase my glasses there, I asked if they could tighten them. When the staff member took them to adjust, she broke them in half. She gave me a replacement pair in black, but my original frames were leopard print. I believe they should have replaced them with the same leopard style or a similar leopard pair. DO NOT GO HERE. got my credit card stolen by the morally corrupt girl at the front who processed my order. i found out that she had not only taken my credit card, she violated HIPAA by looking up my patient information in the system to place her online shopping orders. i hope the james avery was worth it. im disgusted. when i called to tell them what the credit card company had found the "manager" belittled me, accused me of lying and then NEVER FOLLOWED UP WITH ME. ive been calling for weeks trying to follow up but i guess they are protecting a thief that works with them. time to call the police and the US department of health and human services because it seems this office is running a federal crime ring. i'll see yall in court. read more

I am a new patient to the location near Los Cucos in Kingwood. I was referred by a co-worker. So far I am not a fan of the office staff. The doctor who did my exam was great, but the office staff always seems over worked and in a rush to get you in and out. They lack warmth and basic manners. read more

Vision Source on Northpark is literally a joke... no one there seems to ever have any idea what is going on. Countless contact orders have been lost, wrong lenses have been ordered for glasses , I've even had to take my glasses to another provider to have them re fitted properly as the "technician" had zero clue how to fit glasses to a face. 0 out of 10 is my score. read more

We went there 12/2/2022 at 4:30pm for our appointment. Completed the eye exam took the prescription with us and returned home. That night he complained and cried several times about his eye hurting. Throughout the night woke up crying and rubbing his eye. This morning woke up to one eye completely crusty red and irritated. Placed a warm compress on his eye and called the store to advice I believe he has pink eye or an infection due to the facility. She asked me if I had insurance and she would book an appointment for today. I proceeded to advise her I would not be paying or using my insurance as he was just at the facility for an eye exam and I have pictures and videos from his visit and the way the cleaned the machine was with a wet wipe and didn't get inside the machines just around them. That also due to him just going there it would be there responsibility not mine as he was just seen by them the night prior. That even if it isn't pink eye and a scratch or damage caused by the eye exam it is still there responsibility as I am not the professional who performed the exam. So I want to let you know they do NOT take responsibility for their patients and they will NOT see you again for negligence on their part unless you pay. I do have health insurance and he will see the doctor today but not there. And we will be pursuing this much much further. Unless you yourself clean there machines do not trust they've done it correctly. read more

7 different times trying to get my glasses correct and still have not gotten them. Not sure why they cannot read an order.

The doctors are great but the optometrist are so slow . Plan on staying an entire day to get a pair of glasses. The lines at a Walmart in the ghetto are exponentially quicker. I was next in line 2 hours ago. Still no signs of me getting helped here. Expect a full day of misery at minimum. read more

The staff there is terrible. Placed an order for contacts & they told me 5 to 7 business days it would be delivered to my house. My wife had an appointment 2 weeks later & was told 5 to 7 business days again. Going on a month & I still have not received my order. When I have called they have no idea what is going on. If you enjoy seeing dont go here you will be waiting a very long time for your glasses/contacts. read more

I still haven't received my glasses. It's been since November 6th that I spent $900+ dollars at this store. Still haven't received my purchase. I wish I wouldn't have gone to this place. They called me down to pick up my glasses that had scratches in the lenses & the lenses weren't right. They wanted me to wear scratched lenses until new lenses came in so I could wait to have new lenses put into frames. This has been such a nightmare. I would suggest just about any place than this. I have been going to TSO for many years to buy my frames and decided to try out Vision Source. I loved that there was quite a selection of frames to choose from. I've always been limited to only a couple of frames at other places. When I visited here, I pulled aside more than half a dozen when it came time to decide on a pair. The staff was very friendly and Byron was very helpful and informative. I will return in the future. read more

Byron was awesome! I walked in with 2 pair of high end broken sunglasses that needed repair or needed to be thrown away. Byron was so nice and repaired them right away. I asked how much I owed and he said there was no charge. I felt I needed to pay something so he suggested I make a donation to an eye care charity that they work with. Great experience! read more

I have nothing but terrible experiences with this place. I have been going to the eye doctor since I was 1 year old. So I know what to expect when going to the eye doctor. I went to vision source to get new contacts when moving here. I was given the wrong prescription 3 times. When my contacts were traded in for new ones there was an always argument that I owed for the new pair when I returned the last pair. The staff didn't want me to try on the new pair to see if they worked or if I was able to read the eye chart. The kept telling me I needed to pick up the new pair at the drive thru window. My last draw was when they told me my contacts were available for pick up. I went to the kingwood Drive location was told they are at the other location. I went to the other location and then I was sent back to Kingwood Drive. Then the rep argued that I needed to pay for the contacts they swapped out. I took the new lenses and I still had the wrong prescription. I just gave up after dealing with them for 5 months and still getting the wrong prescription. My contacts are not cheap!! The cost over 300 dollars so I expect to get contacts I can use. read more
