My appointment was for 12:45 today. I had just parked my truck when my phone rang at 12:54. The lady on the phone called to tell me they have to reschedule my appointment due to me being more than 10 minutes late. I explained I had just parked and it was 12:54, that I still had 2 minutes before being over the 10 minute mark. She proceeded to tell me, I was late and they needed to reschedule. My husband had his eyes checked by Dr. Sarah Byrnes D.O. She got it completely wrong, and I do mean completely wrong. When my husband got his glasses he told them they were wrong. They told him, he was wrong and that his eyes needed time to adjust to the new prescription. He never adjusted, and could not see signs and such while driving. Last week, we went back to his regular eye doctor in Dallas. My husband was right, Dr. Byrnes got it frighteningly wrong. She completely missed a diagnosis of macular degeneration! Let me write that sentence again, Dr. Byrnes completely missed a diagnosis of macular degeneration! Completely missed it! We went back today to inform her of her monumental mistake and to get a refund for the glasses we already paid for, the lenses, and the exam. They did refund the cost of the frames, but nothing on the lenses, zero on the exam or the lost annual insurance benefit after my husband had to get the correct prescription in yet another pair of glasses. Not to mention the time lost getting into an eye specialist for the macular degeneration Dr. Byrne missed. They did however charge us a restocking fee. read more

This is my third set of eyewear purchased through TSO Spring. I have them do my eye exam as well. For help with selecting frames this time I was assisted by Gabby who is an absolute blast. I recommend asking for her, but everyone on staff is very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. Watch out for their "buy one, get one free" deals. Especially if you're looking to treat yourself to nicer frames. They do have lower priced frames--just tell them your budget and they will point you in the right direction. Once again, we were very pleased with our experience! Dr. Byrnes performed my exam. She was thorough, listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I cannot say enough about Elle! This place is aggravating. The employees are friendly and I feel the exams are conducted professionally, but I've received poor service on contacts and glasses. They dropped the ball badly on ordering contacts for my wife. They ordered the wrong contacts multiple times. When my wife called to follow up after a couple of screwups, they finally gave her the correct ones, but only gave her six months worth rather than the year that she had paid for. They then ordered the remaining years worth, but when she called to follow up they told here that they showed that she had already picked up her years worth and wasn't due any more contacts. today I was trying to order glasses online and realized that they didn't put my PD (pupillary distance) on my glasses prescription. I'm sure this is a ploy to charge me more money for something that would have been extremely simple to provide while I was in the office and should have been included on my prescription. The prescription is worthless without this measurement. and I feel like they're trying to upsell you all the time while you're there. read more

I had a wonderful experience at this location. I was able to schedule an exam the day before... I did it online and had zero problems. The doctor and staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Their equipment is brand new and during the exam I did some tasks that I'd never done before and I've been wearing glasses for the majority of my life. Great staff, easy inside the store. Elle was lovely and super helpful. Issue was wait time for my glasses and frames: 10-15 working days. WOW... okay. I'd already gone through the process of selecting the frames, options, etc. I call on day 14 after no contact from the store, seeking an update. I am informed that the frames arrived broken to the store, and they are 'working on the lenses.' On day 14?? Just still 'working' on the lenses? Really? So, you give me a timeframe that should typically take into account your shipping, manufacturing, work time, etc. of a minimum of 10 and maximum of 15 days and are informing me after I call YOU, that on day FOURTEEN they are still just working on my lenses and the frames were broken. And you tell me you're sending new frames over and it will STILL take another minimum of 5 more days?? A MINIMUM? To put 1/2 rim frames on lenses that really should be finished by now. Seriously. For $518 (that's with the insurance discount), I am quite disappointed with having to wait over 20 days for my glasses. I do not believe I will return. read more

The front desk is so rude and ill informed I canceled my appointment on the spot . I was told my exam wasn't covered for contacts by the receptionist and when I told her it was covered she wanted to debate it before saying she would ask the other receptionist what my benefits were... which I found odd since she was so confident she knew otherwise. I called my insurance company who let her know I was in fact covered. Then there was a lengthy discussion about the kind of contacts I wore... mind you I haven't seen the DR YET! Why is the front desk staff member rudely misinforming me about what it is I wear in terms of contacts ... At this point I was in the office for 20 min and told the Dr would see me in a minute. I have worn glasses and contacts for several years and usually go to a TSO office because of their quality glassware and knowledgeable DR's . However after today I will never consider stepping foot in this office.. When making my appointments I make sure they verify my insurance prior to arrival to avoid the mess I dealt with today. Was seen right away when I arrived and went through all the tests (They have a few machines I haven't seen before, pretty neat). Also the glasses frame was excellent with many designer brands including Burberry, Kate Spade, Coach, Prada, Tiffany's, and Ray Ban among others. The lady who helped pick out my glasses was fantastic and really helped find frames that complimented my face. They also had a very short turn around - my glasses were ready for pick up just 2 days later! I went to TSO because I haven't had an eye exam in years. I was diagnosed with Iritis years ago, but I haven't had a flare up until now. My eyes are still in pain and I have blurred vision. Dr. Pham was the doctor. He never dialated my eyes, but he looked into them, took pictures and told me that I didn't have any inflammation behind my eyes, there was no cataract present and that I wasn't a diabetic. I ask him if there was any cancer? He said no. I was quoted one price on the phone, but charged a totally different price in the end. Dr. Pham said my vision was 20/20, but I was offered frames and a prescription. I refused the glasses and the prescription. I paid them because I didn't want any trouble. I actually paid them my last and I am still not feeling good. I am not happy with their service because I feel that I wasn't properly examed.
