She will tell you not only your exam results but also will explain in details what those numbers or symptoms mean, what to expect & the approximate chances of any complication. She's very knowledgeable & patient with all the questions I have. She also makes the most technical terms on the exam results become so easy to understand. My best experience so far. Dr. Stewart performed my eye exam and he was excellent! I was not rushed during the exam! I was able to clearly and confidently tell when the letters/images where clear to me during the exam. Dr. Stewart took the time to explain everything about the condition of my eyes as well as recommendations for the types of glasses I should consider based on my occupation and needs. He was very knowledgeable, calm and pleasant to interact with. I left feeling great and I will be returning for my yearly eye exams. Although it was close to closing time, he didn't rush us or make us feel hurried to make our frames selections. Instead, he was very inviting and took time to help us look and ensure we made selections with which we were comfortable and not just settling. We told him we could come back another time, but he told us not to worry and to just take our time. He walked us through the entire process, even looking up my VSP ID number which was definitely a chore as my company uses my employee ID and not a VSP provided ID and I was not aware of that. After making our selections, he helped us with getting an optometrist appointments scheduled before actually placing the order. After our appointments, we returned to Target Optical and were happy to see Daryl who once again took time to let us browse the frames to ensure our original selections were still what we wanted. Throughout the process of ordering and picking up our frames Daryl kept us well informed of the status of our orders and made us feel like a priority. When our glasses came in, the lenses in my fiancé's glasses didn't seem to be working for her and he assured us there would be no issue with getting them replaced after verifying her prescription. He assisted in reordering the glasses and did everything in his power to ensure we received exactly what we needed. A few weeks after our final visit, I received a call from Daryl to see how the glasses were working out for me and my fiancé and last week, we were surprised to receive a hand written card from Daryl, thanking us for coming in. I can honestly say I've very rarely felt like such a VIP when dealing with optical centers or any other place of retail. Daryl went above and beyond and I really wanted to extend my gratitude and thanks. I truly appreciate his help and will definitely be returning to Target Optical in Westwood Village because of him.

I was unsure on what I would like so i asked for their help and I came out with glasses I never seen in any store before. They have these magnetic frames that you can also buy accessories for you to fit your style or even outfit. I even asked which style of glasses I should get as i'm indecisive and they helped me get a pair that fit me how I wanted it to. Even though I just met them that day, they knew me better than me and now i'm in love with my glasses. My prescription came out great too! I don't think I've ever had a prescription that was that good. The glasses didn't take long to arrive either and for everything all together I did not think it was a bad price. I did get add ons to my glasses like the anti glare and other things. I really do love their customer service as I felt seen and heard with all my concerns and questions. They were all super nice! If you go you should ask about their glasses that are magnetic as they have a lot of different options. I loved them instantly, so you might too. It's better than buying a bunch of different glasses when you can just buy one and get different tops for it.

However-they didn't volunteer any added time for inconvenience or add to the number of times being warranted. In addition-for customer service I had a pair of prescription sunglasses which were not dark enough. I didn't want to make the same mistake again, so I purchased them as dark as possible. I got a headache after first use- I googled and found out-if lenses are too dark it can cause eye strain with head aches. I would think if a customer is paying over $650 for lenses-you would offer that information so I could make an informed decision. Unfortunately I had to google this information and find out after the fact. it was a waste of $650- The staff is friendly -but if they were more educated to assist customers it would be much more appreciated.

The contact lense…read moredepartment here simply refuses to follow what I understand are contract requirements that are followed by other Berkeley eye centers and while I could drive further to another Berkeley eye center to avoid this particular Berkeley, the answer was simple: there are other eye doctors in town willing to process claims correctly. So I simply let my feet do the talking. Adios. Really it's too bad though since I've been going to Mann Berkeley way back in the 90's and then followed Berkeley after the split with Mann. But one bad apple (or store) can ruin everything.
