A truly great experience. Wish I'd been coming here to get my eyes examined all along . . . When another eye care facility located next to Costco (where I get my prescriptions filled due to their incredible prices) was a bit too rigid regarding their protocols, I did my research for an alternative. Excellent reviews at Eyescript prompted me to go ahead and make an appointment. Great location, plenty of parking. Very thorough and courteous office staff. Dr. Nguyen is wonderful! She did a complete eye exam, not only for me to obtain a new prescription, but to adequately check the health of my eyes. She questioned me extensively about glaucoma (family history, especially) and asked whether I had been informed previously about my apparent indications of glaucoma. Stumped, I told her that nothing had ever been mentioned to me, and I had just had my eyes checked a little over a year ago. Apparently, there are indicators that I may be developing this eye condition and these indicators have been present for years. Wow! Immediately made an appointment for a glaucoma screening. I did get a new prescription that will hopefully help me see better than I do now -- thanks to Dr. Nguyen for taking such painstaking care to make sure I was happy with her recommendations. I will be back (obviously), and I would not hesitate to recommend her and this location to anyone needing an honest, thorough eye exam. read more

Dr. Nguyen is a treasure. Her and her team managed to get imaging of my 3 year old no one else could and found PTC. We were referred to a specialist right away. A year ago, the optometrist we went to wouldn't even try. That was not the case here. They did not give up and got extremely valuable information that we would not have gotten otherwise. I cannot thank them enough. I will take my children here every year and also use them for myself for now on. Thank you! read more

I have never experienced such a caring and phenomenal eye doctor such as Dr. Nguyen. In the past, I have experienced terrible doctors whom I've expressed concerns about my eyes, and they were not very competent at rectifying my issues. Dr. Nguyen however, spent additional time on me trying to figure out the root of the problem that was causing me to have an increasingly amount of irritation with contacts, along with my unclear vision. She asked me a series of question throughout my visit, and examines my eyes more than any other doctor has ever examined me in a single visit. I actually sat there thinking to myself, wow she's really helping me and not really giving me a general "here's your script, lets see how it works out". She then found the reason for my usual dryness to my eyes is that I had been on a specific medication in the past that has caused an increase amount of dryness to all parts of my body, including my eyes. NO ONE WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT UNLESS THEY DUG DEEPER... She has been by far the BEST doctor I have ever visited in my entire life... I actually found her through Yelp, and saw raving reviews about her. My insurance is not actually in network with her, but I think I will continue to see Dr. Nguyen because she definitely took more time with me than any other doctor to figure out what was going on with my eyes. I talk about her to my husband so much and told him how much she has helped me out in just that one visit, that he is now considering to visit her. The past three visits has been great and I LOVE her staff. They are super nice and follows up with me all the time via phone calls. I really can not thank Dr. Nguyen enough for helping me figure out the best plan of care, and treatment for my eyes. Since my third visit with her in the past 2 months, I am happy to say my vision and health of my eyes has seem to be a lot better. She also recommend several vitamins and supplements that would boost the health of my eyes, and though she does carry her own brands she recommends in her office, she never pressured me into buying hers. She happily suggested that I could do my own research and buy my own elsewhere. I have to honestly say, I will definitely recommend Dr. Nguyen to all of my friends and family... I'll take the hit for the out of network co-pay fee for quality doctors like her any day. read more

If you are serious about your vision care, Dr. Nguyen and her team are the absolute best! Not only is Dr. Nguyen smart as a whip, her attention to detail is unmatched. I've been using vision corrective measures since I was young, and I have met very few optometrists that genuinely care about their patients' vision the way she does. Eyescript has top of the line equipment, an accommodating staff and schedule, and myriad options for glasses or contacts. Yes, there might be places where you can get a "bargain" on your eye exam, but do you really want to take that sort of a risk when it comes to your vision's' long term health? read more

This morning I visited Eyescipt Vision Care for the time. First Impressions, this place is awesome. Dr. Nguyen and her staff are so professional. I felt welcomed upon entering the office. By the way, the offices are extremely clean. Anyone in need of a optometrist should visit Eyescipt Vision Care. I wholeheartedly support this business. Such a wonderful experience. I'm impressed!!! read more

So impressed! I am a new patient and could not be happier. I have a not-so-common genetic disorder that can impact my eyes. Dr. Nguyen knows her stuff! she explained to me what we need to watch for, why we need to watch for it and how we are going to do so. I trust her completely. The entire staff was friendly. It was my first time using an FSA, they made it easy. read more

I have had so many bad experiences with eye doctors that I almost lost hope. Alas, I've discovered EyeScript Vision Care! Dr. Nguyen is such an experienced and professional doctor. I hadn't gotten my eyes checked in a while, so she corrected my vision and gave me honest answers about my eyesight. She was extremely thorough (unlike the retail chain establishments), and she made sure I was comfortable during the entire visit. Her staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. The office was very inviting and clean. But most importantly, the selection of frames was astounding! If high-end fashion eyewear is what you're looking for, this is the place to go! They have a selection of frames for all price ranges; however, I haven't found many places that offer such a wide selection of high-end designer frames, which is what I was looking for, but at a very reasonable price. Trust me and stop in EyeScript today to see for yourself. As if it couldn't get any better, Dr. Nguyen accepts almost all eye insurances!! I'm telling you, if you were looking for an experienced optometrist that you can trust, then you don't have to work hard to look any further... literally! Dr. Nguyen made this visit extremely easy. I'm 110% satisfied. read more

I cannot highlight enough how great the customer service is at Eyescript Vision Care.   My wife and I were in Houston over eight months ago for a wedding, and my wife broke her glasses on the plane, and we needed to grab a replacement pair while we were in there.   I had lasik surgery about ten years ago, so I hadn't been in the market for new glasses, until I saw my eye surgeon recently and was recommended to obtain a pair of glasses for driving.   Given my busy schedule, and the lack of options I saw at local optical shops near me, I remember being quite impressed with Eyescript's selection of frames.  Even better was that my insurance (VSP) enables Dr. Nguyen to do all the lab work in-house with respect to the lenses.  Despite living in Seattle, I shot Dr. Nguyen an email and asked if she had any recommendations for frames.  She urged me to look online, but given my indecisiveness when it comes to selecting frames, I felt more comfortable leaving the decision to someone else.   Dr. Nguyen's knowledge of facial shapes, eyeglass frames, and all the nuances for fitting a proper pair of glasses is unmatched.  I think you'd be hard-pressed to find an optometrist with her level of detail and enthusiasm for the subject.  She asked me to submit a photo that would accurately capture my facial shape, and based on that she provided me with three options.  I ended up selecting a sleek pair made by Modo.   The frames arrived within a few days, and the fit was fantastic--almost no need for adjustment. Alas, I still had to get it done locally but obviously it would have been done if I went to her store (and I knew this going in). Either way, I had an outstanding vision care experience in purchasing frames and working with Dr. Nguyen and her awesome staff! read more

I was visiting Spring for a wedding when my glasses had an unfortunate incident with my foot and the floor. Since I didn't want to be blind for the rest of the week, I checked out my options in the area for getting new glasses. Eyescript was close by and took my insurance so I gave them a call and explained my situation. The person I talked to was extremely helpful and got me in for an appointment with Dr. Nguyen first thing the next morning. The store/office had a very nice, upscale feel to it, and I loved the use of iPads to facilitate the check-in process and all the paperwork that goes with it. The staff were very friendly and personable and had no problem answering my questions. Dr. Nguyen was also extremely professional and knowledgeable. I've been wearing glasses for the past 10 years, and have had some issues with an abrasion on my eye. But feel like I learned more from Dr. Nguyen about caring for my eyes than I did from all the other optometrists/ophthalmologists I've seen. She gave me great info on diet and supplements for healthy eyes, best practices for preventing damage to my eyes and the best products to help my eyes stay moisturized and safe. She also corrected a pretty poor prescription I had before that wasn't really what my eyes needed and took the time to ensure I had the most accurate prescription possible. The selection of glasses was great, and very reasonably priced. But best of all, Dr. Nguyen was able to rush my glasses order through, and I picked them up just 2 days after my appointment, with time to spare before the wedding rehearsal. They look and fit great! I would highly recommend Eyescript and Dr. Nguyen to anyone....I only wish I lived closer so I could go to her regularly! read more

Dr. Nguyen was fantastic. So calm and professional. She gave really great, practical advice on the best ways to improve my contact wearing experience. In the 13 years since I got my first pair of glasses and the 8 years since my first contact fitting, I can honestly say this is the most pleased I've ever been after a trip to the eye doctor. The Eyescript staff were all very friendly and inviting from the moment I walked in the door until I left. The young woman who helped me pick my glasses was so sweet & helpful. She was so transparent in walking me through the billing, and I knew exactly what I was getting. I would highly recommend Eyescript for anyone needing a refresher in what quality customer service is for their next optometrist trip. read more

My experience here at eyescript was phenomenal. They didn't have any walk-ins available but worked me in. Dr. Nguyen was very thorough in examining my eyes. I came in with a complicated case of dry eyes and she worked with me to help figure out solutions without any rush. She also assisted me in getting samples and coupons to help with my prescription. She also called me the next day to further update on my case. I give her 5 satrs and highly recommend her. read more

Let me start off with a big Thank you to Dr. Nguyen!! She was able to see me as a walk-in this past weekend and I am so grateful she treated my dry eyes and eased my worries. I appreciate the time she took to explain what was going on and made sure to answer all of my questions. Dr. Nguyen also leads a wonderful staff who are friendly and so helpful. I'm not too familiar with insurance lingo but they helped break down my benefits and explain what I was covered for. They also patiently helped me pick out a pair of new frames- which I love! It can be challenging to find a healthcare professional who's good and what they do, honest, and down-to-Earth. But these are the qualities why I would recommend Eyescript Vision Care to my dearest family and friends! read more

Giving them 1 star is pushing it. The only reason I give them this star is because the optometrist was personable and took time with her diagnosis. I came to eyescript to get a new pair of glasses & contact lens fitting. I have worn glasses for a few years with great success. I ended up ordering contacts BUT I got in my car & felt disoriented and could not see correctly AT ALL. I tried again the next day, nope. The prescription was way off. I called to see if I could bring them back when I picked up my glasses 5 days later when I was told my glasses would be ready and they said sure. Friday came... Glasses weren't ready. They informed me that they will be ready next Wednesday. Tuesday comes & I get a call, glasses won't be ready until Friday "maybe" due to the lens not passing inspection . Sooooo here I am... Almost 2 weeks later with no glasses & contact lenses I can't see out of. Did they fix the issue? No. They said "oh, sorry." After spending $550 and two weeks of no glasses I am thoroughly unimpressed with this office. read more

The staff was very generous and assisted me as soon as I walked through the door, also helping with my one year old son during my office visit. I was in need of a check up on my left eye due to redness, pain and uncontrollable tears. Dr. Nguyen was quick to get me in her examination office and knew exactly what to do to relieve the pain. She discovered the root problem being a small fiber that was stuck in my eye. Dr. Nguyen removed this small fiber quickly and painlessly. After a few drops to help the eye heal and a prescription I was on my way. I was really happy just to have my eyes back and would recommend Dr. Nguyen and her wonderful staff to anyone and everyone. Thanks Dr. Nguyen. read more

I was very pleased with my visit to Eyescript. Dr. Nguyen is extremely thorough and really does care about your eyes. Dr. Nguyen is phenomenal! She's the first doctor that I've had that actually cares about my eyes and she was very meticulous and thorough with my exam. Now, I don't have ordinary eyes either, I have the most complicated eyes a person could probably have; I have dry eyes, puffy eyes due to allergies, and high prescription with lots of astigmatism. Now other doctors that I've been to didn't tell me I had dry eyes or allergies so I thought it was normal for my eyes to feel irritated and left it untreated, until I had an appointment with Dr. Nguyen. She didn't hesitate at all to address all my problems and answer my questions. Dr. Nguyen also fitted me with the best contacts I've ever had. Due to my crazy eyes, contacts usually make me want to claw my eyes after a couple hours but she fit me into these great RGP contacts. Other doctors used to just put me into whatever contacts they had and didn't care too much about the comfort of the contacts. What was even better was that the contacts were so much cheaper than what I had been paying anywhere else. The whole atmosphere of the office was really welcoming and the staff was great. They greeted me right when I walked in and helped me with any questions I had about my insurance. The pre-testing machines were also pretty cool too; I didn't even have to do the puff test which was a bonus! Overall, I would definitely recommend Dr. Nguyen to anybody, she's a great optometrist and really knows her stuff. read more

Best eye exam I've ever received! Dr. Nguyen was very informative and knowledgable. Everything was quick, clean, and on point. Dr. Nguyen and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. My husband and I have nothing but positive things to say about this place! Definitely our go-to place for eye care from now on. Even our 10 month old was welcomed and they had a great amount of awesome sunglasses for babies to choose from. read more

Dr. Nguyen continues to provide excellent, thorough care. I will return solely because of her. However, level of front office service has come down, regrettably. All are very nice, but not all are knowledgeable. Previous staff was excellent in this regard. I spent a ton of money recently to get new glasses for family and was disappointed in the lack of knowledge of personnel handling front office and eyeglass matters. I felt that all they were interested in was my payment and not as much in advising me on options available for frames, lenses, add-ons, etc. Knowledge regarding insurance matters and add on costs (which I felt were excessive) too appeared to be limited. Previous office manager, Sarah, was an excellent ambassador for the place; unfortunately she has left! read more

They are great!! The doctor has true and great patience with kids. My son first eye appoint was with her and we keep coming back. The customer service is great, they get right back to you via email or phone and always extremely pleasant. The place is nice and modern and clean plus they are open on Saturdays which is great! Very professional! Dr. Nguyen is very knowledge and detailed. She is the Best! Great service!

I am new to the area an was in search of an eye doctor. I called prior to my visit to make sure my insurance was covered. The receptionist/office manager assured me after speaking with my insurance carrier that I would have a co-pay upon completion of my eye exam. I made an appointment and was surprised to learn after my appointment that I actually had to pay over $100 (in addition to a co-pay). When I asked about this they told me that certain tests were done that were not covered by my insurance. Why was I not told about this prior to my appointment/testing? I stated my concern at the time and was told since my insurance did cover a certain amount toward my contacts I could use that to cover my office visit costs. I was not happy as I felt deceived from the beginning. When I came back for my final eye fitting I went to order contacts. The woman working the front desk told me I still had a full credit toward my contacts. I figured they must not have applied my insurance coverage correctly so I went ahead and ordered contacts. I then received a call (I am guessing from the woman who originally ordered my contacts) a little less than a week later stating that they had messed up (once again) and that I did not still have that credit toward my contacts. I would actually have to pay over $80 in order to receive my contacts. I thought this was ridiculous since I had already received a receipt of my order and it was their mistake (both times). I will not return there and would not refer anyone to their office. read more

I had something irritating my right eye for about a week, when things didn't clear up I finally gave in to get to it checked out. Dr. Nguyen and her staff truly make an eye exam easy and painless. I have had many frustrating experiences at other practices in the past where my eye exams took much longer than it should have. Third time I've been there and the door has been locked while their open hours. My wife made me an appointment at Eyescript because they're open Saturday's and it was a matter of convenience. I went in for an eye exam so I could get new glasses. In conclusion, they milked my insurance for every possible penny they could get. I never asked, nor was I asked for a medical exam or video screening, but I was given one and billed accordingly. After all was said and done, My insurance bill was over one thousand and my bill was a little over $300. I paid it (the most I've ever paid). The following Monday after my appointment, I was contacted by Eyescript saying they miscalculated and I'll need to pay $115 dollars. I paid it. I picked my glasses up. Am I happy? In all honesty, I feel hustled. I'm just fortunate I can afford it. Beware folks. If you can't afford to be hustled, make sure you stand firm and voice what you're willing to pay for. read more

I brought in my entire family and recommend all my friends to Dr. Nguyen because she is just great! She is very thorough. My dad had unhealthy eyes that we were unaware of prior to his visit with Dr. Nguyen. She explained that because of his dry eyes, itchy eyes, and all the other problems, his prescription is unstable. She prescribed him some eye drops and medication and saw him 2 weeks later. This time, his eyes were healthy again and so she was able to release an accurate prescription to him. She really goes out of her ways to get you the right prescription that you will be comfortable with! As for her staff, they do not mind spending time with you to help you pick out the right frame and lenses! They will go out of their ways to verify all you insurance benefits, then calculate how you will save more money! They have a large selection of frames that you can choose from. Sometimes if you can't find a frame that you like in store, they can order it for you, at no extra charge! Booking an appointment with them is easy. And if you have an appointment, your wait time is minimal if any! They do not book one appointment on top of another which is great! But do expect to be seen at least 30 -45 minutes per visit because she does do a lot of testings. :) best optometrist ever! read more

Dr. Nguyen was very personable and professional but once I received my prescription my experience went downhill and fast. I was told by the eyeglasses professional that the prescription I received REQUIRED me to get progressive lenses. When I stated I didn't want those lenses I was told I had no choice. I left and took my prescription to another eyeglasses provider where I was told I really didn't need the progressives, just my prescription for far sight. I love my standard glasses and feel I was "upsold" and if I wasn't going to be "upsold" then I can go elsewhere. read more

I visited eyescript adnfound the eye dr very kind. what I didn't realize I would have to deal with was their very poor quality of eye glass lens. After several tries they still couldn't get my prescription correct with the type of lens they offer then they insisted that I pay 30% of the return. I contacted half dozen other practices and they said it was a policy no one else has and they do not stand behind their. I should have read yelp reviews as I m not the only person this happened to. And, they hide the bad reviews. Beware of this practice and never go there. read more
