The best experience I have had!!! I have put off coming to the eye doctor for so long but when I called I got excited because of how nice and welcoming Casey was!! I wanted to meet him in person lol! Had to wait in the waiting room 20 mins, then take back and waited another 40 mins before seeing the doc. So 60 Mins from the time I had an appointment. Then because I could not wait any longer I would not let them dilate my eyes to had to pay $35 for pictures. I just moved to the area and this is my first time visiting the store. I was impressed with all the instruments they have. The technical staff and the optometrist were professional and courteous. Besides the check-up, I also ordered a pair of eyeglasses. What ruined it for me is when I request the pupillary distance information in case I will order extra pairs from the internet. The front staff kept refusing to provide the information to the point that it became so awkward. So, I left the store on that day without the information. About two weeks later when I picked up the eyeglasses, I gave it another try and asked for the information again. Now, the same front staff claims that they don't have it anymore as they don't keep the information in the system. This may not be the staff fault if it's the store policy. But, being refused to provide the information for which you paid did ruin my whole experience with the store. read more

I'm so glad and blessed that they took an urgent checkup for my mom Saturday June 2nd. She started feeling one of her eyes weird the night before. After a detail checking, Dr. Proske OD, Paul determined that the conditions of my mom's eye was really serious and he referred my mom to a retina specialist. She had to be taking as an urgent patient because it turned out she had a rupture of the retina and was bleeding. She had a laser surgery and thank God and Dr. Proske my mom did not lose her eye. I've been going to Dr. Proske since 2008/2009. He is great! Everyone in their office is courteous, professional and very friendly. Being open on Saturdays for appointments is incredibly convenient and you can schedule your appointment online, which is great. Vision pro has a wide selection of glasses and I've always loved the ones I've picked out. Whoever has been helping me has been great about asking me what kind of frames I like, what I'm looking for and pulling a wide variety to try on. I can see clearly now, but the rain hasn't quite gone yet. It'd been 2 years since my last eye exam, and I usually dread going. I found Vision Pro on Yelp! and figured I'd give it a shot. I was desperate for new contacts (hopefully my last set ever... LASIK, please be in my future). The office fit me in for a Saturday appointment (AWESOME!), and my wait time was only as long as it took me to fill out the new patient paperwork. Every member of the staff I dealt with was extremely polite and didn't treat me like a bill. They let me know upfront the eye mapping would be extra and not 100% necessary (though I went for it anyway since I go to the eye doctor so infrequently). Dr. Proske was extremely professional and helped me decide on contacts to help prepare me for the eventual switch to LASIK (not to mention that I sleep in my contacts constantly, even though I know it'll eventually make my eyes fall out of my head). Great communication throughout the appointment and I didn't feel like he was in any kind of rush. Even while checking out, the staff was wonderful. Can't say enough good things. Close to home, easy to park, almost nonexistent wait, very clean office, astounding staff, and I got a free set of monthly contacts for the road. What's not to like? read more

The 7 members of my family have been coming here for close to a decade (maybe more). It was always close and easy and I felt like the doctor's were caring and competent, but definitely a little quirky. I walked out today without doing my appointment. I really thought the woman checking me in was quite rude and dismissive (I have never seen her there before). I declined my vaxx status because on a simply moral level I oppose people asking or requiring to see my "card". Since I would not tell her (and I'm not saying am or am not vaxxed-it's my personal business), I had to have my temp taken and answer questions and then was told I could not take my mask off the entire time I was in there but folks who said they were could. I cannot support any business that promotes that kind of segregation. It's just wrong! Not to mention all the breakthrough cases with the vaxxed!!!!! Either all wear masks and answer questions or none have to. It is Dr. Mark and Dr. Sheryl's business to do as they choose, but I will take my business elsewhere. Seems I've had no luck in choosing an optometrist. First thing, the place is severely understaffed. I went in for an eye exam fitting for glasses and contacts, for the first time EVER the doctor never mentioned the scarring on my eye tissue as all have prior; I found it extremely odd. They were hell bent on selling me the eye camera picture machine, but still nothing was mentioned. I selected my glasses, returned 2 days later to buy my contacts, and...there was no one at the desk! I was in my lunch break, expecting a in & out purchase but literally had to search the rooms for someone to help me. Not only could I not pay, they said my contacts would be in later that afternoon and they'd call me; that was one week ago to the day and I still haven't gotten that call! When I finally did speak to someone, they clearly seemed unorganized and disoriented when I asked about buying my contacts. He asked if I could come back, I said I was on my lunch break and well, nothing happened. I asked when might my glasses arrive, a best guess eta, well let's just say I'd be better off guessing. Don't even think about calling, you'll hear "Vision Pro, please hold" before being placed on hold so long you hang up out of sheer frustration. Safe to say, my business concludes when I pick up my glasses, my contacts I'll buy from 1-800 Contacts. St least I'll KNOW when they arrive! #nevergoingback read more

My 11-year-old daughter was having problems seeing the board at school so I made her an appointment here as an in network provider with my insurance. Really friendly and professional service. Casey helped my daughter put her contacts in near minutes, and as I was about to make my prescription purchase through one 800 contacts, he stopped me and said wait a minute, let's look up the price because I'm sure I'm cheaper. Then proceeded to give me a friendly lecture on supporting small businesses which I really appreciated as I am a small business owner myself. Their prices were indeed $100 cheaper to order a year supply of disposable contacts as opposed to ordering them online. Extremely great service. They are so patient if you want to try on a ton of frames because you are undecided. Dr. Proske himself is very kind and does not rush through the appointment. Whatever I need he addresses it. I can tell he genuinely cares about me as a patient. Checking out is quick and I receive a full explanation of what I'm being charged for. If I get glasses instead of contacts, they don't push me to get the extra stuff I don't want just to up-sell. Wow. It's A beautiful Saturday 11:59am, we were just pushed out the door because they wanted to go home. Wait they close at 2!!! Wife had an issue with her eye and before trying, the receptionist tells us that they probably won't be able to verify our insurance. You will have to pay $85. We agreed then they tell us well it's an eye emergency therefore it's medical. Wait.... are you the screener or is the Doctor doing the screening?? WTF!!!!
