John, the owner, could've gouged me for a lot more money like most dealerships would have and I never would've known. Instead, he was honest and straight up. Had the problem figured out in about 10 min, told me to go buy the parts myself and save their markup, and it would be an easy fix he'd have done in about half an hour. True to his word, I was in and out, and all for an EXTREMELY reasonable cost. I also have a cracked driver's' side mirror that I've been avoiding fixing as it was too expensive through Mazda, but I've now ordered one through Apple as I know it'll be another fast and easy fix. Being new to Nanaimo, so happy I lucked out finding these guys on my first repair and can't recommend them enough. Love "service" businesses that get that taking a little less up front almost always guarantees long-term relationships in the end. I will definitely use Apple for any other repairs and wanted to take a minute and commend them for their excellent service, rates, and honesty. You generally assume you're being screwed somehow when it comes to most car repairs. Really nice to leave an auto shop with the exact opposite feeling. Keep up the great work!

I was asked to wait for a Catherine to arrive for about one hour (she is said to have been a former police constable). She perfectly ignored me like I didn't exist. She then quickly took about a dozen photographs from all over the vehicle (including the sunscreen on top which was virtually irrelevant). Then she asked for the Owners Certificate and took photocopies of that too. At the end, when I asked for the assessment I initially wanted, she said they wouldn't disclose their assessment to customer. At this time, their other employee (Ehsan, of Iranian background) gave me a swear word (without provocation) and asked me to leave.

They were kind and courteous and helpful and even gave me their opinion on my rear wiper which is acting a little funny - putting some lubricant on it and advising me how to evaluate if it resolves or needs replacement in the future. Avenue Glass is fantastic!…read more I had to replace the glass roof on my my Hyundai due to a hairline crack. It was covered by ICBC, but Hyundai dealers for some reason are unable to do this work. Multiple collision shops even turned down the job. But they recommended Avenue Glass. And I can see why. Avenue Glass not only took care of the ICBC paperwork, they also sourced the replacement roof directly from Hyundai, and replaced the old one, and they did it in a matter of days. In the end I only had to leave my vehicle for a day, and they even offered to drive me back after I dropped off the car! They even cleaned and vacuumed the interior so it looked better than when I left it. And all throughout the process they kept me informed, letting me know that the claim was processed, that the part was on order, that the repair was ready to start and that the finished vehicle was ready to be picked up. I haven't left a yelp review before, but these guys deserve it. They did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I had a rock fly up and chip my windshield while driving on the #1 on New Years Eve, and as I was driving, I saw the chip slowly expand into a crack across my windshield. It was pretty disconcerting! So, I called to see if I could get the crack fixed that day, but it was pretty late in the day and i booked in for the next business day. Jeremy answered the phone and was really friendly and efficient. Booked me in for the repair and scheduled a reminder to be sent to my email address. He told me that I could drop my car off in the morning and they would arrange for a taxi to take me back to work at their expense! I dropped my car off on a Thursday, took the cab to my workplace nearby, and a few hours later, when my windshield was replaced, they called me to tell me it was done and that they'd send a cab to pick me up. The lady at the reception desk was very kind and called ICBC to set everything up for the deductible. Bonus, you can use your Save On More card there to collect points. When I left, everything was explained to me, I was told not to go through any drive through car washes etc., and they had even given my car a quick vacuum! So impresses with this location and the service provided.
