We had our 1999 campervan windshield replaced due to crack and Speedy was so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient from the initial greeting to the final installation. Dennis, manager, explained step by step process and made us comfortable, got us looked after within our schedule. We would recommend this company. Excellent customer service & support. read more

Ease of booking, assessment, repair and billing to insurance are the very first things to come to mind. She definitely represented their work properly, assessment then repair or replacement. Thanks to them the windshield might last through the winter, it is that time year again. read more

booking over the phone was a breeze. even got a call on the day of, and told to come in an hr earlier as they were not busy and could get started on my car. staff very nice and knowledgeable! i waited in the reception area..ac was adequate and there is free coffee , tea, and hot choco via a keurig machine. got my car back within the promised time frame. got instructions and warranty info. however, 2 mins after i left the lot, i noticed that they left a lot of dust inside my dashboard. the tech did not bother cleaning up the mess he made..:( i was really upset by this. too bad their customer service is great but the techs got careless. i would not go back as their are lots of other glass places nearby. be warned! read more

I had two dents in my windshield glass, went in for repair and was told one is over one year's old and may crack during repair so it's best to replace new one. They did it in 3.5 hours instead of 5-6 hours, and all the staff were very professional, knowledgable and efficient. I appreciated the reminder call the day before. read more

I went to Chrystal Glass around the corner and they told me that they couldn't get my car in for a rock chip repair because they had no tech available. This didn't make much sense to me so I decided to go to Speedy. They got me in right away and I was out of there within 45 mins. Denis, was great. Very friendly and professional. I had a very deep rock chip and I was told by the staff at Chrystal that the repair may not turn out very nice. The techs at Speedy we're able to do the job right. I would recommend Speedy to all my family and friends. read more

Speedy Glass - Speedy was able to repair this deep rock chip within 45 mins and no appointment needed. - Windshield Installation & Repair Near Me - Richmond, British Columbia

If I had known about their great service and honesty, would've repaired my rock chip 6 months ago, as it was getting bigger, almost to the size of a loonie. The service manager Rick Corewyn mentioned that i was ok for now, but if it got any bigger, then most likely the windshiield would have to be replaced, which meant a $250 ICBC deductible. But for just $89, Speedy guarantees their work and in the even that it happens again & I wish to go thru ICBC, they will refund the $89 & apply to the new claim! Only took 30min., so I tried this new bubble tea place across the street, Zephyr. What i was impressed is that they vacuumed my front and back car! Haven't cleaned since 2010 lol. read more

I came to Speedy Glass after my car was broken into and window shattered on vacation in Vancouver. We had planned to travel back to the U.S. the day before but due to the fact it was the first of the year everything was closed and even on the second it was difficult to find someone to help us so we had to stay another night. Despite being fully booked, Speedy Glass, took the time to assess the damage gave us options and offered to fit us in later that day. We elected to just have the glass cleaned and the car window temporarily secured. They did it right there and then. I'm so grateful for their service, they treated us like family, and we made it home safe. Additionally, they directed us to a reputable glass repair company in the States and provided instruction on the repair process. I highly recommend them for professional, quick, and compassionate service. Thank you Speedy Glass! read more

A big fat ZERO. How novel it is that they have an online booking procedure (in theory). Problem is they dont read them. After booking a week in advance with my windshield issue, I took time off work to go there only to be dismissed within minutes. The front desk person told me two things: 1) We didn't read your booking or details 2) We don't know how to do that procedure On top of it, they had not suggestions regards to getting the issue addressed, likely because that would be doing something for free. Seriously? As a repeat customer, I'm sickened by this dismissive, lackadaisical approach to client care. Obviously customers time is of no concern to them. Never again. read more

This was a really poor consumer experience. I had several rock chips and made an appointment to have them repaired. The appointment was over a week after I went to have windshield inspected. The Chinese lady examined the chips and assured me that they could be fixed. She read both of my insurance policies and commented that I should reduce my comprehensive deductible. I showed up at the appointed time and was told that no, they would not fix the chips the windshield had to be replaced and that I would have to come back for a third time in another week. My impression is that if you are Caucasian at Speedy that your business is not welcome. I drove a half a block down the street to Kia and they got it all arranged and done in two days and provided a courtesy car. They even brought my car to my house for me and picked up the courtesy car. read more

Ever since this changed from Lang's Glass to Speedy it has gone WAY downhill. Lang's was so friendly when you came in. The new people at Speedy are so rude, unaccommodating and unfriendly. They seem too busy to even help you even though I made an appointment a week ago for a windshield replacement. Haven't seen a smile on one persons face and I have been sitting here for quite a while waiting for my car. Coming up 3 hours and it's still not ready yet. As I sit here every customer that walks in is treated like they are a burden. I would not recommend this place for windshield replacement. It says on their wall. "You are at the right place" but boy do I ever feel I'm at the wrong place. read more

Absolutely great service! Had to replace the windshield on my '95 VW Eurovan - no insurance. Dennis got me the best priced windshield. The job was done very quickly and efficiently. When I had a dead battery (the joys of an old VW...) he was more than happy to help: jumped it and even tightened the terminals so the connection was better. Highly recommend Richmond Speedy Glass. read more

I got a tiny crack on my windshield, went to Speedy Glass in Richmond right away. The guy at front desk was very busy with the previous transaction and didn't have time for me. He quickly ran out of the door to have a look at my car, and said he needed to confirm with ICBC if Speedy Glass were allowed to repair this crack (although ICBC had their regulation in place long time ago, and he should've known what they are by now). Then he took my phone number and promised to call me the following morning to update me on the status. I've never heard from him again. Would not recommend to anyone, very unprofessional. read more

They took 2weeks for ordering the new windshield for me, and then they ask me to come with appointment after one more week. There are totally 3 weeks to wait, but I feel understandable. However, After I putted my car to their shop and left for a while, I received a call from them. The call is about that their new windshield has some scratches on it, and I need to wait one more week for their new ordering. Why they don't even check out the new windshield when it already arrived to their shop for a week ??? Take too long time on waiting. read more

Book the appointment in advance to replace windsheild, go in few days later but.. call center ordered the wrong windshield, had to come back another day. Actual shop on minoru did their best to accommodate me and kept me updated. Excellent service, will be returning in the future. read more

Speedy Glass Minoru Richmond is a amazing place. It is my first time writing review about the service. Denis Lau - Service Manager is a super guy. When I walked the shop to get a side glass mirror at the driver side. He asked me the car model and year and promised to give me a quote either that day (already 4 o'clock) or the next day. Then I got a call from him on the early morning of the next day, He said the glass was there already. The price is very reasonable. Less than 5 minutes, my rear mirror was installed. That store really know how to provide a speedy and quality service to clients. Great Job! Thanks, Mei read more

Terrible service. Terrible quality. Only go here if you want a bad job- workers clearly do not care about the vehicles at all. Front end staff very rude. Left glass all over my seat- which I cut my hand open on, and I decided was forgivable until I realized they broke part of my vehicle rendering it undrive-able for over a week- no apologies. Very low communication (never called when they said they would.) I had to borrow someone's car for a full week because I couldn't drive mine to work. A lot of my time wasted. Treated like I was an idiot and instructed to drive the vehicle illegally by the receptionist so they didn't have to use as much effort to come see the vehicle in the state they left it. I would NEVER take a car here that I care about or value. Beware. read more

These guys are fantastic! I made the appointment over the phone the weekend before, took it in Friday and they were all ready and waiting for me--no waits. I went off and had a bite to eat, read my book, and got a call an hour earlier than expected and was out of there in no time. They took care of all the ICBC business for me. Totally friendly and professional. I really couldn't have been more pleased with the service I got here. read more

Fantastic service. Our car was broken into while visiting Richmond. We were from out of town. We had a broken out passenger window. Dennis got us right in. The broken glass was cleaned up and a air/water tight plastic barrier was put over the window frame so that we could make the 3 hour drive back home. The whole experience was amazing and I want to thank Dennis for handling this in such a quick, professional manner. I highly recommend this shop. read more

The stone chip on my car's windshield was only in the size of a dime, but it had a few crack lines spreading out. Before I came to Speedy Glass Richmond, I had gone to BXXX Glass on Marine. The guy at BXXX said there is no use in repairing, and that I would still see the chip and cracks after repair. He asked me to wait a little longer until the crack get bigger then go back to his place to replace the whole windshield, and he would help me to make the claim. Then I went to Speedy Glass to get a second opinion. A service rep called Grace was really nice. She told me although the repair wouldn't fully eliminate the cracks, but it would look much better. And at least after the repair, the crack will not get bigger. She even showed me their demo glass to see what it looks like after repair. At last the result was pretty good. Although not fully eliminate the chip, it's no longer an eye sore to me anymore. Most of the crack lines are almost invisible now. Another happy customer. read more

Great and prompted service from Dennis and the team! Definitely recommend all my friends and family to come here if needed!
