Punctual, professional, convenient - + no problems with my windshield. My windshield had a ding that turned into a crack spanning the whole car so I had to embark upon the ICBC claim process to get it replaced. I looked up the ICBC glass express service and a place I've walked by hundreds of times came up: Allset glass. A quick call and they could get me in when I needed, plus they were pro-active in telling me all I needed to know about my parking decals etc. before i needed to ask. I was late to my appointment but it didn't seem to matter, my windshield was replaced earlier than expected despite the garage looking overly full that day. Dan (the owner?) was a friendly guy that Iiked and we were able to have a good conversation as they pulled up my freshly cleaned car up. He also went the extra mile to explain what "options" in my insurance I should never change (but many people do to their own detriment). I had considered making a minor tweak last January to my policy and if i had,.. I would have paid $100 more on this claim. I'd go back for sure, but hope I don't need to. 2 years ago, AllSet replaced the leaky windshield on my 90's jeep and it was a FANTASTIC experience. Staff were friendly, service was superb, the result was solid. I have no idea what happened. I called last week to have my rear window replaced due to a break in. The man I spoke to was rude, he interrupted me when I was speaking, and I got the distinct impression that he was in a rush to get me off the phone. He never gave me a timeframe for when the glass would be coming in or when I should bring my car by. I was assuming that it would be a similar experience to getting the windshield done, and that they'd order the glass, I'd bring my car in ASAP, and it'd be done in an afternoon. I was not told otherwise. So after waiting at home literally all the next day, ready to drop everything I was doing so I could take my car in and get this dealt with before it started raining again, I called them back. Same man answered, and he was even ruder than before. Only THEN did he tell me that there was no "ordering" this window, that he was having to find one at a pick-your-part, and when I asked him if he could estimate some kind of timeframe, he didn't give me one. I told him that I would start looking, then, and that I wanted them to keep looking too. Well guess what? It's been a week and I haven't heard back from AllSet. Meanwhile, I was able to locate not one, but TWO replacement windows that very same day. Needless to say, I will be going someplace else to have the glass installed because it's clear this guy doesn't want my business. Absolutely amazing!! My car got broken into and they were fantastic with their service! Not only did they get everything fixed within 4 hrs, they didn't charge me a premium either compared to what other places would have charged me (including my own car dealership). And in addition to fixing my window, vacuuming up all the glasses, King also helped me take out something that was stuck in my car's back window pane without me asking him to do so. My car was broken into and window smashed late in the day and right before a long holiday weekend. Fortunately I drove by All Set and found Dan and King still at the shop and willing to take the car into the garage, saving me a lot of hassle. Really great! Got my window smashed and was able to get it repaired the next day. The one complaint I have is that I was told to come in at 9 am, but the glass didn't arrive until 11:30. I advise asking them when the glass will be in/ when is a good time to arrive. I went home and had them call me once the glass was in. Then the window was replaced in 90 mins, beautiful job, AND all the glass vacuumed up! I couldn't even find one piece after. Thanks Cory :) Staff are very friendly. Great customer service. I love my car and don't trust leaving it at any Shop. These guys told me even though they did mobile service that it would not have been best for my type of repair needed. Trusting all the yelp reviews i left my baby with these guys..... They found rust under the old Glass from a poor job with shortcuts taken. Didn't even call me to tell me or ask for more money, they just wire brushed out the rust and sealed it with the proper sealant to ensure it will not rust again! I arrived to pick up my car and glad it wasn't trashed or joy ridden. I tried to offer them a tip to show them how much i appreciated the extra effort they put in. Dan would not accept my tip and told me the best reward was word of mouth advertising. I fully support these guys and know full well that the penny pinching franchises would never give this level of service. read more

In late 2020 I bought a new Honda Civic. After only a month or so I was driving on the highway and some small stones from a truck flew up and hit the windshield. One of them made a substantial crack right in the middle of my view! I've been driving cars for decades and never had any windshield problems, so this was a new painful experience for me. Instead of just jumping on a big name auto glass company, I decided to read some reviews to find a good one. The reviews for AllSet were really good, so I called them and asked a few questions. Like I said, I've never had a cracked or broken windshield before so I needed some basic info. They were patient and very helpful right from the start. I decided to replace the windshield instead of getting it repaired since the crack was right in the middle of the driver's view. After reading other glowing reviews about All Set, I decided to call in for a quote to fix my broken passenger windows (darn those idiot vandals!!). Dan quoted me something I thought was fair for the two broken windows, then went the extra mile to see if he could lower the price by searching the local inventory cuz I told him I was considering paying for the repairs out of pocket instead of going through an insurance claim. After deciding there was no real benefit from paying out of pocket, I was ready to take the car in. When I got there Dan had a look at the damage and found tiny scuffs and dings around the windows on the door and frame, which I didn't even think to look for. Since his shop only does glass he referred me to another auto body shop to take care of all the repairs so that I'd get the most out of my insurance deductible. I am always impressed by honest professionals who don't make a priority of getting your immediate business and ignoring your greater need. Since I'm totally new to auto repairs I asked why he's referring me someplace else, Dan took the time to educate me on insurance rules and how I would have had to pay double the deductible if he were to do the glass at his shop and have the other scratches repaired elsewhere. If I had to get my auto glass repaired for another reason, I'd totally come back to All Set! I could trust them to treat me fairly and not rip me off, which is every consumer's worst fear! :) read more

I can honestly say that these guys saved the day. Just before our long trip north for Christmas, as we were heading to load up the car, my husband noticed that our rear window had been shattered. Upon further inspection, we had been broken into and all our Christmas presents had been stolen from the trunk of the car. Talk about traumatic. We were supposed to leave at 7am and called every big name glass place we could, trying to get our car on the road that same day. No one could guarantee it or was really very helpful, until someone from All Set called us back. Not only did they take our make/model over the phone so they could order the glass, they recommended we bring the car in so they could clean it up and have it ready to go once the glass order came in. Someone gave my husband a ride home (it was actually snowing and cold in Vancouver that day) after giving him some coffee and told us they might be able to even come get him when it was finished. When we got the car back, they had cleaned every last bit of glass up, cleaned the car more than I had in years and had replaced our trunk contents in DIFFERENT boxes, so that I wouldn't have to face the violated feeling that I had being broken into. I honestly cannot recommend these guys more. They are small, courteous and caring as well as great at what they do. They are also registered as an ICBC Express Glass location which might be helpful if the cost is over your deductible. There is really something to be said for excellent customer service when your clients are having a rough day. We got off that same day, all thanks to All Set. I had a cracked windshield and phoned around. I phoned the usuals (there's really only 3 or 4 vendors). I had questions and called everyone starting with the names that I knew the best. One of the vendors didn't let me get a word in edgewise till I had given my phone number, car, etc. As I was just asking questions I got a quote. I proceeded to get calls from the vendor for the next few days offering me 'deals'. The kicker is that the cost is largely covered by ICBC. AllSet was really good about answering questions. When I showed up they drove me to my appointment and told me when the appointment would be done. They texted me early and when I got there they had taken care of all the paperwork. They also cleaned up my car interior putting my mess into boxes. I was VERY impressed. The two owners were incredibly nice to boot. I will definitely go back (not too soon I hope). read more

Then when I said no thanks they offered to give me a "non-factory" windshield for less money but first wanted to know what my budget was. What my budget is? What is this a used car dealership? It's worth going out of your way to use AllSet Auto Glass! They replaced my windshield due to a rock chip, and I was very happy with their service. Then, 3 weeks later, the windshield had a crack appear in one corner. In those 3 weeks I'd moved out of town, so taking it back into them was now a 5 hour drive. I happened to be back in Vancouver for a meeting, and stopped by AllSet to show them the crack. They were fantastic! It turns out the windshield itself was flawed, even though they'd inspected it first. Because it was going to be difficult for me to come back, they pulled out all the stops to get things fixed for me that day. They gave me a courtesy car to use so I could go to my meeting, and they had the replacement windshield installed in a couple of hours, and even stayed past their closing time to get it done. It's when things go wrong that the value of good customer service shows. There's lots of auto glass places out there...you won't find one better than this! Highly recommended! read more

When I spent Thanksgiving day looking for a way to seal my broken passenger side window in the parking lot of the Home Depot, someone recommended Allset Auto Glass, having dealt with them, getting the repair done within a day. I wasn't going to hold my breath but I called them the next day. Crystal their receptionist was so incredibly helpful and assisted me in figuring out which window I would need. When she told me they had to order it, I lost hope to have it in time for my return home to the Northwest Territories on Saturday. However she went on to say they'd have it by that afternoon and I could have it installed the next day....SERIOUSLY!!!?!! I was extatic. These are absolutely the greatest guys like anywhere ever, and I had an experience with them that says a lot about the kind of people that work here. During our family's first ever visit to Vancouver, someone smashed our rear window and robbed us on the morning we were supposed to leave. Since I couldn't very well drive 3 hours back with the wind howling through the car while my wife and one year old sat on a pile of shattered glass, I tried to get it fixed in town. I called around and nobody was able to immediately fix it that afternoon. One of the people I called was Dan G. at All Set, who, after checking his suppliers for the window glass and determining it wasn't readily available, just told me to bring it in and see what he could do. Dan and his business partner King offered us some coffee and doughnuts. For about 30 minutes, his crew removed all the broken glass, including the pieces still embedded in the frame, put plastic weatherproofing on the window hole and told me it was patched up enough to get me through the ride to Seattle even if it rains (which it did, and it rained pretty hard). I seriously tried to pay them, and they seriously refused to take any of my money, saying it was their good deed of the day. Since I don't even live in Vancouver it's not like I was even a potential return customer, but he did it just because he saw we had just been through a rough time. As far as I'm concerned, nobody in Vancouver should ever go anywhere else for their auto glass needs and Dan G. should run for mayor or king or imperial overlord or whatever of the greater Canadial Vancouverland area. I'm sure he'd probably make a good curling partner too. read more

I got my windshield replaced for the third time in two years (on Jan 11) thanks to all the highway driving I do and all the dump trucks throwing rocks at my car causing cracks and splits. Kingsway Honda recommended that I go to AllSet Auto Glass the first time it happened and I have not gone to any other place since then. Dan, the owner, is straightforward and friendly and his estimates for time and cost are accurate. As it is a ICBC Glass Express shop, they deal with the claim and paperwork process for you. It's located in a convenient area with lots of shops and food within walking distance, and they provide coffee, newspapers, a couch, and a tv if you just want to wait there. I really appreciate how Dan was able to fit me in for a same day replacement even though I was calling for an appointment the next day. Seriously, Can I say something negative about Allset? Nope. Dan is the man with a serious commitment to making you satisfied with your windshield needs. We had our whole windshield replaced. He had to order the glass three times as the first two was damaged. But he didn't give up and we only had a little delay as we were waiting around in the area. Thank goodness Main Street has some of the best eats around. So by the time we stuffed ourselves and took the kids out to the local park to play in the water park, we hardly noticed the slight delay. That said, Dan was apologetic about the whole ordering of the new glass. He's a straight up honest guy who works his butt off for his customers. Genuine and super easy going. A pleasure to talk to as well. We came all the way from Delta based on just the reviews, and they were all right. AMAZING. $45 including tax to replace my smashed side view mirror, and on top of that they vacuumed my car, checked the air pressure in my tires, and tightened the rear view mirror which they noticed was loose.
