Everything started off great, Got a good loaner car and was looking forward to my Rogue getting fixed. While they had my vehicle I left messages through their website and also phone messages and no-one ever responded to anythng until I did my negative review, (weird). Communication with Kirmac Collision and Autoglass Surrey via email is impossible and they do not reply to texts. I finally got a phone message that my car was ready so I went and picked it up. Everything seemed ok but once I started loading my stuff back in the vehicle when I got home I noticed the interior palstic was old and stained but they kept the rectangular nice looking piece from the old liftgate (which made the rest look even worse). The back of the lift gate did not look right to me but I couldn't quite place it. When my wife looked at it she noticed the decals ROGUE and the SV AWD were not put back on the liftgate! I figured it would be a hassle to deal with them so I was going to just buy them and do it myself but when I saw they are over $150. I said no way.. As my wife and I looked over the car I also noticed the liftgate they just painted had chipped paint on both sides! I don't want to call because then you never have a record of what is discussed (which is most likely why they don't reply to emails) so I dropped by and talked to the assistant manager Arjunveer Kamra and he took me in to the office to discuss my concerns. I realised he was looking over the photos they took in hopes I was lying or wrong about my concerns but I wasn't. He seemed very accomodating and said he would call me same day (Monday June 19/23)or next day (Tuesday June 20/23)and get me in this week to have to repairs done. I emailed him my concerns about how he would get the interior plastic the same color it was meant to be in the first place but as per usual Kirmac doesn't reply to emails. I have not recieved a phone call, text, email or anything else so I had to call ICBC to deal with this issue. Looking at the invoice they charged $2,495.00 for a crappy used liftgate they could paint (FYI: the interior plastic is NOT removable and is part of the liftgate, great thinking NISSAN!) when at this point they may have well have just bought the new one with correct colored interior with Primed exterior for $3824.38 from the dealer (so there must be a cheaper option with correct result). Such bs and the car has lost alot of value with these screw ups. ---- Months later I found out my rear defrost did not work so I took it in to Kirmac again, Workers may not be that smart as they were talking alot of crap (recorded on audio) and trying to blame me for the defrost not working when everything worked before I took it too them. They did order a new glass and put it in but I had to wait a couple or few months for the window to fog up again and it still did not work. Winter was coming so I was running out the summer fluid as best as I can and then I hear a noise dripping inside the back of my Rogue, It was leaking inside on our stuff. Finally took the car to dealer because Arjunveer did not reply to my emails (Found out he blocked my email address after I emailed him, not shady at all)..Dealer said rear defrost was never connected and also a fuse was blown re: from washer fluid fripping inside it shorted out my rear camera (Rear defrost and Dashcam share a fuse location). Dealer also found a broken line in the rear washer sprayer so Now I am out $320.44 from their screw ups and alot of time. read more

Kirmac Collision & Autoglass - Body Shops Near Me - Surrey, British Columbia

Very bad experience. While the staff is courteous, they certainly don't seem trained to do a thorough inspection. I had taken my car to Kirmac Surrey for collision repairs. The inspector did not test the AC prior to repairs and failed to detect that the AC compressor was also damaged due to the collision. Moreover, the AC was not tested even when handing back my car. When I went back to Kirmac, they asked me to get the AC inspected by a mechanic and submit the findings, which I did. The ICBC adjuster refused to consider the compressor having failed due to the collision. I gather the repairs done to my car were close to the write-off value and now the additional costs to fix the AC was putting the ICBC adjuster in a spot. Now am left to appeal ICBC's decision while Kirmac is off the hook. Do not go to Kirmac. read more

I've had to take my car here a couple of times, since I've been in a couple of minor accidents. Kirmac always does a good job and gets the job done quickly. They also always give you a rental car from the rental place next door to them. And they deal directly with icbc. They also appreciate their customers! read more

I have been here twice before for two auto body jobs. They did a very good job then. Recently I have had another incident where someone left a dent and scratches on my car. I took it there. They offered me a free quick paint and polish job on the dented area; and they did a great job! The personnel is pretty helpful, courteous, and accommodating. They did their job very professionally, they take it seriously. Very highly recommended! read more

My car got rear ended as well and my insurance company referred me to Kirmac. At first I was a little hesitant because of my experience a couple of years ago from their Burnaby location (see my past review) and didn't have high hopes. Instead, I was treated quite well by the Javid the manager who responded to my questions and concerns with compassion and professionalism who also answered my emails within a reasonable time period despite his understandably busy schedule. Getting a courtesy car was quite easy and there's no shortage of them as they have a working relationship with Enterprise Rent A Car half a block away (which they also treated me very well). Their workmanship was superior as usual from them but what impressed me is how clean the interior my car was when I picked it up (and no foul body odors)! I won't hesitate to refer anyone to that location again. read more

I would strongly advise anyone NOT to bring their vehicle under any circumstances to the Kirmac in Newton, Surrey. They are shady, rude and do not follow their customer policies. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle it was outside running with the lights on. When I asked why, the female sitting on the top of the counter responds with, I have no idea you will have to ask my manager but the manager is not here. She then says there is something wrong with your battery or starter. I asked her what is the issue? She says again, I don't know the manager didn't tell me. I asked her how long has my car been running. She says for 20 minutes. I asked her to turn off my vehicle when I was in the office to deal with the paper work. I would like to point out when she called me the night before to pick up my vehicle she did not mention any issues regarding my battery or my starter. As a matter of fact she told me my vehicle was ready for pick up and everything looked great. I would also like to add that according to their customer policy they are to give the customer an update every 48 hours which I did not receive. I had to call then after a week to find out how things were going. The female told my insurance adjuster the same day I picked up my vehicle that there was something wrong with my battery and starter when I dropped off my vehicle to them. Interesting about that is the male who was there when I dropped off my vehicle inspected it and drove it in the shop and told me everything was fine. I dropped off my vehicle on August 10th picked it up on August 23rd and was never informed during that time there was a problem with my battery or starter. But sadly this was not the end of dealing with these rude and shady people. I asked for a receipt copy of my windshield replacement but was told they could not give it to me because they could be sued if they gave me one. I called my insurance company and they approved for the female to give me a copy. The female in the office continued on talking a mile a minute on how this was not allowed and not right. I could not get out of there fast enough but unfortunately my car was dead. Needless to say I was very, very, late for work. Like I said they are shady and rude. read more

I took my car in recently to get repairs made & compliments to the service I experienced during the checkout process. One note of improvement should be made --if you are getting a loaner car to use during the duration of the repair -- make sure to phone ahead to ensure there is a car ready. But also make sure there will be a car waiting for you at that site. I did that but I still ended up waiting 45 min. before driving off. The clerk handling my check in - took me over to the car rental place which was 2 doors west of the Kirmac location (we walked over), handed the lone clerk a note with only a Kirmac work order number (I assume) with no additional information & left me to fill out the required info essential for the car rental. In my previous car repair experience - all the pertinent info should be provided by Kirmac to the car rental shop. Example: Your car make, license no,. Kirmac çontact rep. name etc. should be given prior to you dropping off your car for repair. So the 3 stars is for the customer rep, Paulo at Kirmac. One important note -- do the walk around to see the repair is done completely. I saw one minor detail that should be fixed, pointed it out & they repaired it. This includes doing a good wash & detail cleaning job. Would I recommend this place to repair your car - only if these details are ironed out. read more

I am writing you in regards to the damage my vehicle received while at the Kirmac Collision located in Newton. I originally called Kirmac Collision to discuss the estimate given to me from ICBC on February 5th, 2009. I was told by a Kirmac employee to drop my vehicle off on February 10, 2009 at 1300 hrs and that Kirmac would give me a courtesy car to use while they were fixing my vehicle. When I arrived, I was told the shop had over booked and would not be able to help me with my car on this day. I was very upset since I did take time off work. My appointment was then scheduled for the following week. When I arrived the following week I was given a courtesy car and was told that it would be called when my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I received a call from Kirmac on February 20th telling me that my vehicle was finished and ready to be picked up. When I arrived at the shop my car was parked outside. I went over to my car to look at the repairs. I noticed there were large scratch marks underneath the paint on the driver's side door, the front driver's panel, and I also noticed bubbles and burnt paint on the driver's side mirror. I immediately went inside and asked to speak with the manager. I told the manager that the damage was not fixed and that there were additional scratches on the vehicle that were not there previously. We then went outside and looked over my car. The manager told me he was sorry for the additional damage and that my car was not repaired properly. He then told me to leave my car with him and that he would take care of it. On February 24th I received another phone call telling me that my car was repaired and ready for pick up. When I arrived at the shop in the afternoon I went through the routine once again. To my amazement the damage to my vehicle was still there. The scratches to the driver's door, the front driver's panel, and the bubbles on the mirror were still there. It looked like paint was just sprayed over top of the damage, and that the bubbles were not repaired at all. At this point I spoke with the manager and told him that I was very unhappy that my car had not been repaired properly. He told me that he did not know why this was happening and that he was the one that painted the car and everything should have worked. He explained that he would go over the car inch for inch to make sure everything was perfect before calling me next time. This would be the third time my car was being repaired and I was once again told to leave my car and that I would receive a phone call when it was repaired and ready for pickup. I was called by Kirmac on March 4th regarding the picking up of my car. When I arrived there I was given the keys to my car so I could go over the repair to make sure everything had been fixed for the third time. The previous damage on the outside seemed to be repaired finally but when I opened the driver's door I noticed an eight inch tear in my leather steering wheel. I also noticed markings on my dash board, steering wheel and side doors which look like left over residue from some sort of cleaning product. I have tried to clean it but it doesn't come off. What I do not understand is how this damage would not have been noticed the first time around let alone the second time. Words cannot describe how I feel. I find it hard to believe that it should take a company three times to do an accurate job when ultimately it should have been done properly the first time. This is not how a reputable company should run. The customer service that I received was not satisfactory, the workmanship was unprofessional. I work in emergency services and for this to happen to me makes me very distraut. I never in my entire life would do business with them again. I am also taking legal actions against them regarding the most recent damage. BE VERY CAREFULL! read more
