    What I got

I am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction with the service I received at your salon. I visited yesterday and showed Paulie a photo of the hairstyle I wanted. He assured me he could achieve the look, but the result was nowhere close to the inspiration image. After the first attempt, he tried to fix it, but the second attempt was still unacceptable, and I was extremely uncomfortable by that point. I informed the manager, Lucy, who said they could attempt another fix but that I would still have to pay. Considering how upset I already was, I did not feel comfortable continuing. I asked for some sort of compensation and she took $30, which in no way compensates the mess of my hair. I returned today seeking a proper resolution, but instead of assistance I was met with a rude attitude. Lucy had another employee, London, inform me that the salon could no longer fix my hair. This contradicts what she said the day before, when payment was involved. The inconsistency, lack of accountability, and disrespectful attitude were extremely disappointing. The hairstyle I received does not resemble the inspiration photo at all, and the entire experience was distressing. For these reasons, I believe I am entitled to a full refund. I hope the salon will take responsibility and address this matter professionally.

    Hair after it dried

On Monday Dec 23 my granddaughter had her hair mutilated by a so called stylist at Visible Changes Willowbrook Mall. All she did was chop off her ponytail and then she sent her on her way. This is what it looked liked after it dried.

Not happy with my hair cut.

Worst hair cut ever. A $70.00 hair cut looks more like a $10.00 one. I believe her name is Lane. Never in my life going back to visible changes.

Yesterday, it was awesome experience. as a cancer patient, I went for shave my head and excellent service from Mayda. she was so caring and explain everything to me. at the end I went home with a hair in my head!!! thank you Visible Change

I wanted a short haircut and decided to go to VC at Willowbrook Rather than my hair stylist up in Walden. I figured a new style Would be better done there. I don't remember her name- but I Told her specifically not to cut the back of my head short short. I wanted longer layers. She might as well have shaved it - it is that short. We had a long discussion about what I wanted and I even showed her pictures. And while the hair will grow back - I have to live with this awhile until it does. You would think someone who had been cutting hair for Six years would understand the customer. Does Visible changes not train their stylists. She is heavy set and had purple hair. That should have been my first clue. Won't go back there. I am sure they don't care if a customer is happy or not. Ends were also supposed to be choppy- Not straight across

My blonde hair looks so pretty thanks to Jenn!

I have been going to Jenn for over ten years now and she's the BEST. I am blonde and she does amazing highlights just perfectly. She is also very sweet!! I think Visible Changes is great I just wish they would have complementary hair blow dry after having color service. I mean you can pay extra and have your hair styled but I usually don't unless I have somewhere to go. For the money I spend on highlights I just don't like to leave with wet hair, plus the colorist can't review their work with wet hair. In other words, I spend approximately $150-$160 and still leave with wet hair. I don't get to thoroughly enjoy the excitement of getting fresh highlights until I'm home and style it myself. They do offer for you to sit under a dryer chair, but to me that's not a good idea. Nonetheless I'm still willing to keep coming because of Jenn.

Stripes and where is my blonde?!

I came in with blonde hair needing my roots touched up so I asked Marina to blend my dark roots using the Balayage technique to keep my root line from being so drastic and buy me more time in between color sessions. I showed a couple of pictures of BLONDE HAIR WITH BALAYAGE ROOTS. It wasn't until I got home and took a good hard look at my hair that I realized I don't have balayage at all, I have stripes made with highlights and lowlights AND my hair isn't blonde anymore. I went back today and asked her to fix it, and she said there was nothing she could do. Store management refunded my money for this session but I when I asked for a credit to help fix the mistakes they said no. ***UPDATE*** I reached out to corporate and they were very apologetic and helpful.

YEN did an outstanding job fixing my hair color! I made the biggest mistake of dying it dark with a box color and it turned my hair this weird shade of brownish black with a green tint. I tried to rock it but HATED it. I wanted to go back to my blonde but was so afraid. YEN got me back to looking like myself. It took 2hrs with all the color adjusting but she did it!! Thank you!!

The color wasn't even distributed. This was after the third time.

Light snacks, like cranberries and nuts are provided along with hot tea options, and citrus flavored water. The space is very nice. There are locker rooms with plush spa robes and complementary slippers. The locker room has two steam showers if you want to wash yourself after your massage. They also provide hair products to try as well as a Dyson hair dryer. I was definitely very impressed with the luxurious feel of the spa, however, was turned off by the receptionist who checked me in - her robotic, transactional nature was starkly juxtaposed against the warmth of the spa. I noticed she was the same with all customers so it wasn't personal but interaction with her was unsettling. I booked the 60min signature hydrafacial and the esthetician was welcoming and willingly customized my facial based on my requests. No major issues encountered but I noticed we started 10 minutes late and ended 10 minutes early so I thought marketing it as a 60min experience was a bit misleading. Also note the 60min Signature Hydrafacial does not include any hand/neck massages nor boosters nor light therapy so the $285 price was much more expensive than my usual spa. I will not return for another facial but may try massage in the future. We also booked pedicures and again the space is beautiful!! We were given a palette to select colors and the ladies were extremely friendly! My toes came out adorable! I found the seating to be very uncomfortable for a short person despite many pillows placed behind me for support so I honestly struggled to enjoy the experience but the space was very nicely decorated and clean looking. We were offered tea and snacks at the beginning as well. Overall, this was a very nice spa. I found it fairly expensive and overpriced, but I recognize beautiful spaces have a cost and that's what I should've expected in the River Oaks area. There is complementary validated parking!

Nonetheless, this place still gets the job done right. I walked in on a Sunday around 3:45 PM and, despite seeing about 3-4 people ahead of me, I was seated by 4:35 PM - not a bad wait at all! I opted for the wash, cut, and blowout, which came out to a total of $35. I was finished by 5:05 PM, so the service was quick and efficient. (You can call ahead and make an appointment as well). They also let you check the front and back of the hair with a mirror to make sure you like it. Open on Saturdays and Sunday - so perfect for those who are busy/don't have time on the weekdays and need something quick. A heads up: they only accept cash or Zelle, so come prepared. Street parking is available. Overall, If you want a simple, straightforward, budget-friendly haircut without the fancy extras, this salon is a solid choice.

So to keep that tradition (ignoring the fact that I'm just lazy about it, as my wife would tell you), we went to a hair salon that his son has been to for his hair cut. Parking is on the street and they take reservations, though I got lucky in getting a seat right away without one. My stylist knew what she was doing, asking what trimmer blade size I wanted. She suggested I go one half step higher than my ask, than got to work. Buzz, then detailing, then a a shampoo, then final cut with scissors. And she took care of my cowlick so it wouldn't be so pronounced. Probably 15 minutes from start to finish. Fifteen dollars (including shampooing). Add me to the list of very satisfied customers.
