I struggled a little with the rating for this review. They accomodated a large group fairly late in the evening and were polite, cheerful and efficient with complicated billing. Several people raved about their dishes - said the tomatoes tasted right off the vine, and their meal was delicious. My daughter and I both ordered spaghetti with meatballs, unadventurous but this should be a home run in an Italian restaurant. The pasta was overdone. The sauce wasn't a nice pool of marinara sauce - it was an orange coating on the pasta that tasted more like Chef BoyRDee (which I don't like) than anything else. I tasted no fresh garlic, no basil, no nothing other than acidic canned tomato taste with unidentifiable generic spices. Meatballs were o.k., although heavy on the oregano. Bread placed on the table was nothing special - which was what my daughter had to say about the spaghetti as well. We had a large group, and they gave us a back room. Decor was fake Italian murals with plastic grape vines tacked to it. Didn't offend me, but for $33 for two plates of spaghetti that included a side salad (we both drank water), I wasn't overwhelmed. I'd have given it 2 stars for the spaghetti, but as I said, other members of our group raved about their food. I am admittedly particular about Italian food. Just here for a few days and gave this one a try. Glad I did! I tried the butternut squash ravioli and my buddy from work had the lemon chicken. Both were fantastic! i was really hungry so glad this one came with the dinner salad. Seasoned perfectly and a nice slection of wine and local beer. I was in town for business and our hosts took us to this place. It was dark, thus you knew it was going to be fancy. We had the calamari and also the mushroom appetizers. The calamari was a little lacking. Mushrooms were good. The bread and olive oil was very good. I had a rack of lamb. It was cooked nicely and tasted delicious. Our group had a few bottles of wine. I don't drink much, but coworkers say it was pretty good. I'll agree with them. I am not sure how many other italian places there are in Wenatchee, but I guess this must be the best one here. read more

We stopped here on a recondition from our hotel front desk and it did not disappoint. Arrived during happy hour and enjoyed the charcuterie board, wine, beer, and two entrees which were delicious. Delicious food! Went for lunch. We took a customer and really liked it. When you're out of town, you want to eat at the local favorites. Why eat at Applebees or Olive Garden? We showed up right at noon and felt lucky to get a table. They must smoke a lot of foods here as outdoors, you could smell the Applewood and Mesquite. It was AWESOME! My mouth was watering and I had not had breakfast and the outside smells were incredible. FOOD! We ordered applewood smoked mushrooms for an appetizer; they were delicious! The three of us ordered and our food was brought out in roughly an appropriate amount of time. Maybe a little long. Bratwurst? Yup... and it was good. Italian Sub? Also good. Lasagna? Probably the best! It's a little loud.... it's in an old house. it's a little slow, but not bad. The service is pretty darned good and you NEVER go without something to drink. When we pulled into this resturant I was unsure of what I was getting myself into. We were brought to a back room where it was humid and hot. Once we looked at the menus the amazing dining experience began. The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was delicous. I ordered the chicken parmesan and, after receiving the the bread with a delicous garlic oil, my tastebuds were in heaven. The ribeye, which they are best known for, was prolific. It's crispy feel and soft interior consistency were superb. Overall I was pleasantly suprised with the atmosphere and food. We were under-whelmed here, after reading the rave reviews from everyone. Service was ok. This place seemed to be THE place to be on a Wednesday night. The waitress was frazzled and didn't realize we had sat down 10 minutes prior to another couple, who received service and got to order first. My coworker had the lasagna and I had the cioppino. She said the lasagna was good but nothing to write home about. I am a huge fan of the cioppino and order it wherever I travel. I've been to this place a few times, and it's not comparable to the quality of the Leavenworth Visconti's. The food is still delicious but the ambience could be better. But I love their bread and oil that they serve to you initially, it's so good, and I love love their cheese tortellini. read more

I followed a fellow Yelpers advice in that "You should always try a place twice." Luckily I did because my first experience was sub-par. I ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo and it wasn't very good. The alfredo sauce was very sticky-like. I'm not sure if that is how good alfredo is supposed to be, but it was unappetizing. My second trip I ordered the cioppino and it was amazing. The wait staff actually knows the menu and has tried the food (that seems to be a rarity, anymore). I usually eat alone 'cuz I'm traveling for work. Visited for the first time. Excellent service! We started with the wood fired steam clams, tender, great broth. Then we had chicken parm and port saltimbocca. Pork came with oven roasted veggie...lots of onions. I subbed pasta for the garlic mashed. Very good. Definitely will come back again. Lots of great options on the menu! read more

I LOVE Visconti's! For years, people in Wenatchee cried out for an Olive Garden and I couldn't understand why! Why would anyone choose to go to the OG instead of Visconti's? The food is fresh, wonderful and not squeezed out of a baggie. I could live on their bread and herb infused oil. I crave the Calimari Fritti which comes with an amazingly yummy aioli dip. The hot spinach/bacon salad is amazing and the apple, arugula salad is even better! The italian sausage is perfectly spicy and flavorful. I have a hard time ordering anything other than spaghettini and sausage or the muschroom/sausage mostacholi because the sausage is so good! read more

Yum. After a long day of rafting we ventured into this place (thanks Yelp). They were gracious about our drowned rat appearance and we were starving. We ordered the bruschetta. Strange as it was all meat not the expected tomato and olive oil. The meat was amazing! 4 different types. Wow. All very special. A charcuterie of yummyness. We ordered great wine and a couple of fun cocktails. We had ossobuco, saltimboca and rack of lamb. Every dish was great. I even ate the left overs later that night cold. It was that good. When I asked the server if the cook forgot to grill it, she sheepishly answered "No, we don't the menu item management calls a panini. Believe me sir, you're not the first one to complain." This was recommended to us by the good folks at Warm Springs Inn & Winery (Also excellent--you should go!!). We arrived at 5 without a reservation the day before Mother's Day & so sat in the bar. We had a most memorable meal! Scott was our server & gave me 2 wines to try. He knew the menu inside out to help me with my dairy allergy. I had the halibut special--the salad greens were absolutely fresh & the blood orange perfectly prepped. Hubby had a steak with mushroom demi glace & pronounced it delicious. We had to say no to dessert. Oh, and locally sourced asparagus was wonderful. It's an amazing italian resturant, especially for vegiterians..Visconti's is a moderately priced and authentic enough Italian restaurant located on the main drag of this town in the middle of Washington state and about halfway between Seattle and Spokane. It is toward the northern end of town, it looks like a quaint cottage, and it has its own parking lot. Visconti's food was good. I had opted for cannelloni. They also feature the typical meat, poultry, and fish dishes prepared according to an Italian theme. The interior of the restaurant is very segmented. As you walk in, there is a bar to the right. Then, over toward the left, is the main dining room. And, further down a hallway, there is additional space for dining and/or a group function from what I could deduce. The service was pleasant. The food arrived in a timely enough manner. The pricing for the pasta dishes was pretty much in the ball park with other restaurants of this genre. Pricing for the meat, poultry, and fish dishes was higher, as is always the case, but I didn't partake. We went there for the first time on a very busy night so we ate in the bar which is situated right off the entrance. It is a rather small bar with two high top tables for two and maybe eight chairs at the bar. The bartender was very pleasant and prompt to our needs. Though he did apologize saying he was waiting for warm bread and then later when he brought the bread it was cold like it had just come out of the refrigerator. The meal was priced at the upper end but the food was delicious. Our two dishes were lasagna and pasta with bolognese sauce. The lasagna was cheesy and meaty but had a bit more pasta than i prefer. The bolognese dish was superb and the addition of peas was a touch we had not seen before but was added tot he dish. read more

Ok, today was not our day for going out. My husband and I have been wanting to try this place since we moved here to Wenatchee. We finally had a chance tonight with our friends from California for their anniversary. It was rather disappointing I'm afraid. Given the prices our expectations were a little higher than what was the reality. The place is noisy and not really all that comfortable. There was an air vent next to my chair which they tried to cover but the cover kept moving so cold air was blowing on me off and on through dinner. The food was okay but nothing really special and certainly not presented all that well. My husband had the cannelloni which looked the best and he said was okay. I had the pork saltimbocca which was pretty good but didn't present well: bland looking plate. I'm not sure how well the vegetables were supposed to be cooked but the "cooked" carrots were crisp. Garlic potatoes were good. Our friends ordered the pollo limone and special of the night butternut squash ravioli. The chicken looked ok but not great and had some green colored potatoes. The ravioli came in a pasta bowl plain. Very underwhelming. The service was friendly but not well trained in proper table service. The server interrupted our conversation each time she came to the table instead of pausing for our attention. The person pouring water kept reaching across us sitting at the table instead of around us. I worked in restaurants and hospitality for years and standard appropriate service is to pour water into the glass on the right side of the person, unless it is absolutely not possible. A little training would go a long way in this place. That and finding a way to cut down on the noise would make it a much better dining experience. read more

What a special meal. The drinks were amazing (raspberry martini with Chambord & Ruby Red Gimlet). First off, we had the wood fired clams. They had just the right level of smokiness and acidity (due to the fresh squeezed lime). My husband ordered the homemade lasagna with a side of Italian sausage. This was a great find! My BFF always wanted to go to this restaurant and we made time last night. Was not disappointed at all! We waited about 10 minutes before deciding to get a drink at the bar. It was only 5 minutes later and they were seating us at a table. Every server was smiling and very helpful even though they were not assigned to us. Our server was super nice and very knowledgeable with the menu. He helped us make the best selection. My friend got the chef board that was so delicious with different meat, cheese, fig jam, almonds, and bread/crackers. Definitely have to share this portion since it's pretty big. I ordered the beet arugula salad as I saw they had an award in the waiting room. It was so good! I would have loved more cheese though. We both settled on the Lemon crab linguine and I would order it again and again! So delicious and creamy. The lemon didn't overpower the dish which I appreciated so much. I wish I could tell you about the dessert, however my friend made me try some of her appetizer so I was too stuffed. I had a cappuccino after my meal which hit the spot and the server didn't blink an eye when I apologized for asking for coffee after he already brought the bill. We ordered takeout since we had read reviews and it looked like a great italian restaurant. Unfortunately they messed up our order for two of the items so those 2 people didn't get the side they wanted. One of our party ordered the beet, walnut, cheese salad and you couldn't find practically any walnuts, there appeared to be a few tiny pieces and the same with the other toppings, it was mostly arugula. For the price it seemed very small. The brussel sprout appetizer was good but also very small. We picked up the order ourselves and it was ready on time which was a plus. They included bread which was nice. Their alfredo sauce is very heavy. All in all, the food tasted good but nothing special, the order was messed up and it's expensive for what you get. For the $110 price tag for 4 entrees (1 dessert) that's expensive. I'm not tempted to go there again.... read more
