Not the best visit! We came in this past Monday and sat outside on their patio (very nice patio). We stop in when in Wenatchee running errands. My husband and I use to really enjoy this establishment. There's some dishes on the menu that are wonderful, but too many dishes have heat, plus presentation isn't the way it use to be. Mediocre at best. I don't imagine Italian food as spicy, but savory, fresh, and unique. The cocktails are okay, handcrafted of course... not our thing. Trying too hard to be different like every other establishment. Dessert is good. Didn't order any this visit. The reason we won't be back is because your waiter was clearly under the influence. He was sweating and smelled of it and didn't come outside to our table for an extended amount of time. I went inside to use the restroom and your employees were all over the place. Service is great! Food excellent. Their pastas are homemade which is hard to find. I would describe Visconti's as a gourmet delight for all ages. Will return every time I visit Wenatchee. The food also caters to children. My kids finished their plates! Try the lemon crab pasta. They have the best Cesar dressing. This is our 3rd time coming in within the last month- felt like a couple things needed to be mentioned.... The first two times we've been in we were offered complimentary bread (which was refilled several times). But this time we only received one basket, which is 4 small slices of baguette- they took it away when we were done and did not offer to refill (thought that was odd)... When the bill came we found that they had also charged us for the bread!!! What happened to it being complimentary? Also the risotto that came with the pork chop was terribly undercooked and inedible! When you're paying $200+ for dinner you really expect consistency and for your food to be cooked properly. Absolutely amazing! I highly recommend the beet salad, it was so so good! Lemon and carb linguine was a hit as well. We even ordered the lobster pasta to go. Service was good, food went out very quickly. Vibe is very romantic, kinda dark in there actually, would be a good choice for a date night. It was our last day on our work trip and we stumbled upon this place online and we wanted a break from cafe food. This place did not disappoint at all! Our waitress Morgan was so amazing! What amazing food we just had, I had the lobster linguini and my husband the ravioli with corn special and they were both amazing! This is a authentic Italian "neighborhoodish" restaurant in Wenatchee that I always stop at when I am in the area. I think their pasta dishes are the strongest offerings. He gives great suggestions and is a joy to chat with. Haven't been here in years. Came back during travels and remembered how much I love this place. We came with our 5 year old twins and the servers were so kind. They have a kids menu and offered them crayons to draw. The lemon crab linguini is amazing. Loved that their gluten free pasta was al dente and not mushy as some gf pastas are. Also the antipasti salad has been renamed to chop salad. Still spectacular as I remember. The Brussels sprouts were ok. I've had some really good Brussels sprouts in the past at other locations so I say it was ok. Not bad but not amazing. I prob wouldn't get them again. This place has its own parking lot. Absolutely amazing! We are from California and just came visiting. The food was amazing highly recommend the crab shell lemon pasta, the Backwood whiskey and black berry mojito. They offer antipasti boards with varying meats and cheeses, we had the Chef's Selection Northwestern Antipasti board and it was perfectly paired for our entrees. We also had a Bruschetta board that came topped with salsa fresca and Parmesan. For my entree, I had the Chicken and Mushroom Fettuccine Alfredo and it was absolutely amazing! The Alfredo sauce was the perfect thickness, not too runny and not too goopy. It was rich and savory, honestly the best Alfredo sauce I have ever tasted! The chicken was tender and full of flavor and the mushroom were a nice addition, though not always noticeable at first. My wife had the Pollo allá Milanese and it comes covered in arugula and with yellow tomatoes. It was breaded nicely and had a good flavor albeit it was just a little over cooked in a few small places. We were seated quickly and our server was very attentive to refilling our drinks and removing our plates when we had finished. I have never said this before, if I could give this place 10 stars I would. Came in around 6:15 on a Friday night. Had no reservation, but they made room for us. The waitstaff was very knowledgeable on the menus and specials. Everything sounded incredible. They will alter your dish how you like it. Amazing as less places are willing to do this. I had 2 picky eaters with me. They brought bread and a oil dipping sauce, which was incredible. Bread was endless, and even my picky eaters licked the sauce clean. The staff did not rush anything. Food came out to provide you with ample time to chat with friends and family. Our food arrived, it was hot, presented perfectly and OMG, the taste was out of this world. My picky eaters ate every last bite. We saved room for dessert. Again, not disappointed. Wish I was not driving, as the wine list looked incredible. Went here with a reservation recently. It was a full dining area on both sides at about 8PM, very loud and cold with a ceiling fan on high. You'd think such a small restaurant wouldn't need a fan. Although my party struggled to hear one another and the servers, we did manage to eat a full meal there. Here's what we ordered for food: Cheese Board, decent but not outstanding. Wood Fired Mushrooms, served cold. It was a generous portion but it should have been hot. Bruschetta, had to send it back because it wasn't cooked at all, another cold dish. It came back lukewarm. The Ravioli di Giorno was corn and ricotta filled, it was very sweet and boring. I'd skip that dish. The Cannelloni was the only hot food delivered to our table. It was a bit too salty. The tiramisu, a generous portion to share (points for that) was fluffy and dry. We were all disappointed in the quality of the food and the crowded bar-like atmosphere. As to the wine, what a bummer. Both were Italian varieties. We had planned on ordering one bottle but wound up paying for two because the first bottle was corked, and they refused to take it off the bill after tasting it. It was the wrong year and they "only had one bottle." The next was a Lambrusco, well known to one of our party. The color was more like a rose, and it tasted like a pale pink colored beer. The aforementioned individual believed it to be a counterfeit bottle. The water girl was attentive, but we will not be going back, nor will we recommend it to anyone. Overall, it is an overpriced, overrated, American style Italian restaurant. read more
