I joined my wife at Visconti's to have dinner but was denied service by the bartender. We had thought it was because a bag had broke at the bottom and spilled a glass bottle of wine which broke. The manager said that is was because my wife of 5'2" had difficulty getting onto the high barstool. We have never been so insulted by a restaurant staff, so even though the food had been great the night before, you have lost over the $100 we would have spent on dinner and we will never attempt to eat there again. read more

My family was celebrating the closing of a house sale so we decided to go here. Been many times and always great food. Tonight we got up and left just into salads and drinks. The manager sat an 8 person party two tables over. The noise level was so loud then noticed the manager was drinking wine and rallying the troops. We asked our waiter for the check after not being able to move us. As we left i mentioned to the manager why we are leaving. She made excuses and never apologized for the inconvenience. We ended up paying $28 for salads, soup and drinks. Never will we go back. Way too much money to not even be able to hear the conversation at our own table. Ridiculous! read more

Visconti's was very good and I highly recommend it. My Osso Bucco was tender and delicious, and the Saffron Rissoto excellent.

A treasure of homemade Italian favorites. Husband had the Tuscan fish stew and I had the frizzled spinach and prossutto pasta - both delicious. Great wine list appropriately priced. Dessert menu should be reviewed first as to leave room for tiramisu - ordered it anyway. So perfect we made reservations for Valentines Day. I know this has a local cult following and maybe I caught them on a bad night, but the food was horrible and expensive. I ordered gnocchi as it is one of my favorites and I received mashed potatoes. I went to this place not expecting a lot but the lasagna was the best I have ever have had in the Northwest in 24 years of searching for good east coast Italian food. Perfect on red sauce, slightly sweet and crushed meatballs within the layers of pasta and ricotta. I started with the ceased salad and it was perfect. Likely dressed, and more on the oil side than standard mayo. No eggs. The menu is awesome. Next time I'm trying the crab linguine. I felt like I was back at Pizza Garden in Queens or John's Pizza in Brooklyn. read more

Our first stop in Wenatchee was Visconti's for lunch. We quickly devoured 2 loafs of wonderful bread. Ordered a bottle of local Washington Wine recommended by our server. Our favorite restaurant in the Wenatchee area. We go there for lunch and start with a cup of their delicious Italian white bean soup & the spinach salad with hot bacon dressing - mmmm. As a main course we often enjoy the Pesto Spaghettini with added prawns & broccoli. If we have room for dessert they have lots to tempt you and it goes well with a nice cup of coffee. Service is very friendly and attentive. One of the waitresses has worked there for years and its always nice to talk with her when she's working. We often pick Visconti's to celebrate special occasions - but really need to go their more often. I always feel wonderful after a meal there. read more

What an exquisite, romantic Italian treat! We went here for our one year wedding anniversary and had an amazing experience! This is my favorite restaurant in Wenatchee by far! Visconti's has the best wine selection in the valley and you can't go wrong ordering anything from the woodfired oven. As far as pasta you can't beat Visconti's cheese sauce (it's rich, but amazing). I also love the penne pasta with sausage in a tomato-cream sauce and the butternut squash ravioli. If you're looking for more of a "fine dining" experience though I would recommend going to the other location in Leavenworth. We were able to get a reservation for new years eve to satisfy my pasta craving. And absorb the upcoming champagne. The herbed oil with bread was delicious. I barely needed the bread. We shared the pancetta wrapped prawns which were a solid offering. I had the cannelloni, which I found to be overly salty. Bf had the chicken parm which he enjoyed. Outstanding - conveniently located across from Springhill Suites Marriott. I had the Arugula and beet salad followed by the rack of lamb. Simply divine. A terrible experience: our waitress had no other tables as we were here on a Wednesday night. She came to our table a grand total of 4 times, never once refilled our water. Rather than being attentive to customers, she was laughing at the bar with some other servers and bartenders. I just felt very underwhelmed by the experience and for the price my boyfriend and I paid, it was a waste of money. My salad didn't even have dressing on it and the waitress didn't notice when she was bringing the food out. When she finally came back the third time and I asked her for some dressing so I could dress it myself, she proceeded to blame the chef rather than just apologize and grab some dressing. The food wasn't even that amazing, there are other Italian places in town that serve excellent food. For less of a hassle and a much more enjoyable experience and great food, I'd recommend going to Garlini's! read more

Being vegetarians we order the same food, pasta with vegetables, Veggie Pizza, Ravioli and yet they get better every time we are here! Ate at Visconti's last night because they serve Cippino. The food was OK, not great and the place was small and loud. The service was good. The Cippino was just OK. My wife had a Veal dish but didn't really like it. A glass of Chianti, our entree and desert, with a decent tip came to $100. Way too much for the quality of the meal. read more

Stayed in Wenatchee while visiting Leavenworth and decided to give this place a try. Am I glad we did! Fantastic wine list/selection, we snacked on the chef's selection meat/cheese plate, meatballs and Italian sausage and it was all so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Given it was so chilly, I opted for a hot buttered rum that could have easily made me gain ten lbs but was 100% worth it. We sat at the bar the entire evening and enjoyed conversing with the extremely personable bartender and local patrons. Can't wait to return next year. read more

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you're inside it's charming enough, especially with the grape vines framing the view. The food was perfectly cooked. The complimentary focaccia and olive oil were some of the best I've had anywhere, both very fresh and lots of flavor. Crab linguini was creamy and lemony with plenty of fresh crab. The real star was the wine recommendations. They have a decent selection and staff who know what they're suggesting. Thought this place would be just ok, convenient on a busy street on my way through town, and it turned out to be great! read more

What a wonderful restaurant. We started with drinks at their very comfy cozy bar. It was so comfortable and the Bartender was so friendly and efficient we decided to eat there. The menu offered a very wide range of choices. I being a somewhat picky eater asked them to combine parts of several menu items to create one for me. Awesome Italian restaurant. My absolute favorite pasta dish is the crab & lemon linguine.. So good! We came back twice before we left town.. Got the fried calamari, was ok. Second time got the proscuito (sp?) wrapped prawns which were really good. My significant other got the chicken and mushroom fettucinne which he thought was very good; the cheese sauce complemented the dish very well. The white chocolate raspberry cheesecake was just ok, nothing to write home about, the tiramisu was pretty good. Overall great restaurant, would come back again! read more

If you're in Wenatchee, you should have dinner here, because the other choices just aren't as good. This place gets the details right - house made dressings on the salads, delicous Anjou Bakery Bread, family-run atmosphere and staff who truly care, pastas cooked right. Everything is made carefully and they do feature quite an array of seasonal, fresh, local produce on the menu. I visit whenever I'm in town, and my latest trip just confirmed that 5 years of patronage has been a good decision. Extensive wine list as an added perk. It's not overly spacious, so don't go expecting intimate table settings - you will be able to hear the conversations of those around you - but for a great meal in Wenatchee, reserve a table here. read more

We had an absolutely perfect dining experience at Visconti's while visiting the Columbia Valley. The service and atmosphere were outstanding. The food was some of the best Italian we've had anywhere--and that includes years spent in Philadelphia and New York. We had the cannelloni, linguini alls vongole, and rage alla bolognese--and all three were spectacular. We'd had an appetizer elsewhere so didn't have room to sample the extensive charcuterie menu, but we did have the Chocolatta and Tiramisu, both of which were perfection. The owner took our kid outside to pick some grapes from the vines that line the walls of the small, cottage-like building. This place is a real gem, worth a trip from Seattle or Spokane, especially since it's a stunning drive from either direction. read more

We went here NYE. The service was good, we made a reservation so we got right in. Unfortunately the food was quite disappointing. I got the lemon chicken, which had no lemon flavor and was served on top of pesto mashed potatoes that we're EXTREMELY salty.
