Upon entering the shop, a friendly lady walked up and greeted me. We bought the Shrimp and Grits $11.95, Gullah Gullah gumbo $11.95, and the Lazy Afta Noon Crab Dip $7.95, which came with a free box of Club crackers. Apparently the products we purchased today were featured on Food Network, Rachel Ray, and other media outlets as displayed in the shop. But luckily I was craving seafood when I left Hyams, so I decided to to give CudaCo a shot. As soon as you walk in the door, you can tell it's not your typical seafood market. There's a room of wines for sale, beer, and a few dining tables. Then there's the fresh catch display case... And I must say, their selection is consistently great. The quality and freshness is top notch. And they usually have some hard to find fresh catch. What makes CudaCo stand out from other markets is that you can pick your desired catch from the display case and then have them cook it to your liking. Everything that I've had was literally foot stomping good. And to add to that, they also offer frozen seafood, premade dips, and many other items in the freezer section. I'm a huge fan of CudaCo and I'm mad at myself for taking so long to give them a shot.

Wine selection was good, if not as diverse as the cheeses. As impressed as we were with their products, I have to honestly say that this was the very first fromagerie in my life where there was an absolute and complete absence of joy in what they're doing. Located off the beaten path on River Road and set back from the oaks, is a true old school treasure to be discovered if you haven't been there already. With consistent hours, they're usually open whenever we pass by which is key if you're going to shop local. Our last visit focused on shopping for collard greens (which are grown right there), watermelon, yellow squash, plums and some spicy pickle spears which punch a kick of heat. Inside is well organized, clean, and prices are well labeled - so you plan your purchases accordingly. Throughout the year they have a changing variety of produce grown locally and some that is brought in to make it a decent spot to get more than just a thing or two.
