Started with a frose, a sparkling Costo vino and the red and reserve flights. We enjoyed them all and they paired very well with the crispy shrimp wonton and the truffle fries. The basil pesto and burrata was just ok compared to the heirloom tomato BLT and grass fed sliders which were both delicious. BLT needed a little more bacon but we were trying to share between 3 people so maybe that was the problem lol. Service was friendly and prompt. Bit of a walk from parking lot which can be a challenge since spaces are close together. We were just grateful the rain stopped before our walk over to the restaurant which is all gravel so not great for heels. Frose is a bit over priced compared to everything else but we really enjoyed our visit to this peaceful and culinary oasis.

The wine tasting was nice. With large parties you are given a flight to try. No need to stand in the tasting room. I liked several of the flavors. After the tasting we took a walk around the grounds taking in all the animals. Because it was winter, we didn't spend a lot of time in the lavender fields. We did however visit the lavender shop. I purchased a lavender honey spot and some delightful lemon crunch lavender ice cream. Overall staff were friendly. I would recommend this business for anyone in the area or visiting massanutten.

You really get to enjoy an immersive, interactive experience on the farm. There is something for everyone, from interactive gardens and live animals. The best for a cute little DIY wine tasting. You can bring your own charcuterie platters, which is what we did to go along with our tastings. They have tasting room called the Purple Wolf Vineyard where you can purchase your portable tastings, wine, beer and slushy flights . I would definitely return again, great place to host a cute birthday event, with your friends. They also have a really nice gift shop as well.

They also offer an option to customize your wine tasting for $30. Both provide four wines. We customized and had the Sauvignon Blanc, the Viognier, the Rose, and the Petit Verdot. All were good, and it was fun tasting such an eclectic mix of wines. The staff are kind and professional. Our server gave us a little history on the vineyard, which we really appreciated. There's no pressure to buy bottles of the wine.

We learned how to make the Negroni cocktail and they took time to teach the flaming orange. Including a lot of interesting history and information about the spirits. (I was a little worried when at the first two restaurants we were served seafood dishes, a seafood bisque and shrimp and grits as one person in our group doesn't really like seafood and I think this is a risky choice for a tour. Also at Chocolate Paper we were given two mediocre Asher chocolates to try instead of some of their more expensive and more delicious Debrands chocolates.) One person in our group thought there wasn't enough food and thought another restaurant or two should be added. I tend to agree when compared to the cost of this tour against other tours I've taken.
