This is my second time using Virginia glass. Over the weekend my car was vandalized, and even though I could've been paired with Safelite or another company, I waited to talk to my insurance agent on Monday so that he could remind me of the glass company that he had referred to me years earlier. Luckily for me Virginia glass was able to come out to my home and fix my windshield within two days. These guys are great and always professional! I was told they would arrive in a window between eight and 12. At around 8:15 AM I got a call from the technician saying he was en route and will arrive to me by 835. He told me WORK would take about 45 minutes, and almost to the.com or 45 minutes later he was finished. Really happy with the work and professionalism. If you feel like waiting forever for a technician to show up, would like to be aggravated by canceled appointments or subpar work, there are technicians out there in abundance for you. But if you want to bypass all of that, definitely reach out to Virginia glass! read more

Once again...a visit from Va Glass. Somewhat painful to get a windshield replacement again...this was number 5. My 11th year in NoVa and another windshield cracked and another replacement. I originally went to SafeLite when I got a crack in my windshield. I tried for over a month to get it fixed with no luck (for various reasons). I was getting ready for a road trip and needed to get the windshield fix within a couple of days. I picked my vehicle up from SafeLite and dropped it off at Virginia Glass. I can't say enough about how great my experience was with Virginia Glass. Steve (the owner) personally went on a nationwide hunt to find a rear windshield replacement (which turned out to be a rare model) for my shattered one. While the other 6 glass replacement shops I called told me they couldn't help me or I should call someone else, Steve researched a variety of options for better than 3 weeks to find a used windshield that would save me from paying the exorbitant price I was quoted from Safelite for a new one. He eventually found a MD dealer who was willing to ship a windshield to his store and then set up a time to come to my house to have it replaced the next day. Steve's incredible customer service was also ingrained in Mike Geigan who came out to our house precisely at the appointment time to replace the windshield. Mike worked quickly with a pleasant demeanor, cleaning up all the broken glass while expertly installing the new windshield. In short, the customer service and professionalism from the moment I called to the installation of the glass was superb I have no doubt that Steve lost money on me for the amount of time he put into tracking down the windshield. It's rare to find this level of service and determination to meet the customer's needs. My wife and I were anguishing about whether to dump the car altogether but the great team at Virginia Glass really made a huge difference and relieved a stressful situation. I really hate leaving this negative review because I feel like I am an exception but the reality is that I scheduled an appointment through my insurance company and picked a time that I could fit into an extremely busy work week and 2 days later when I arrived there was only one person there on a phone call and when he got off the phone he said that he had no appointments. I gave him my confirmation number and he said that it wasn't an appointment and didn't offer any real solution, offer to make another appointment, or even look at my car to confirm they could do the work. I understand that things happen but just giving me a response that I don't have an appointment is not what I would classify as helpful. I feel bad that the person was on a personal call regarding someone being in the hospital but if someone is in the hospital I would have rather there been a sign on the door indicating there was a family emergency rather than someone being there that probably should be somewhere else. read more

Price was all inclusive, reasonable, and the work they did seems perfect. I have never left a review like this, but with the rain we've been having in nova, I had to vent to someone. I replaced the windshield frame on my CJ7 3-5 years ago and I had a friend recommend VA Glass to do the windshield swap. They had a 'satellite' shop in Tysons that I believed was shared with another auto-repair company, so I took them the old frame with the windshield, a new painted frame, and a new rubber seal. I don't recall the total cost, probably $100 or so, but that's not the issue. The windshield has leaked EVER since. The first time I noticed it leaking was several months after I got the new frame on the Jeep. I was driving in a mist, not rain, a fine MIST, and water was hitting me in the face because it was being pushed around the seal. I took it back, and the guy actually told me he didn't know he was supposed to put silicone (or whatever they use) around the outside of the gasket. Really?! He supposedly sealed it, but sometime later, I realized it was still leaking around the bottom of the seal. I thought he had pulled the window and actually redone the whole thing, but all he had done was run a bead of silicone around the inside edge of seal where it meets the glass... the problem with that is that the water was coming from the frame side of the seal. I don't drive the Jeep that often, and hardly ever in the rain, so by the time I realized it was STILL leaking, the repair was going on a year old. When I called back (and I don't have the guy's name) he didn't want to look at it without me paying because of the length of time from the initial repair, I didn't feel like arguing, and plus I felt they were incompetent (at least the person that worked on my Jeep), so I dropped it, bought some silicone and sealed the outside seal gap myself. Of course since it's still not properly fixed, I have to reapply the silicone from time to time. Today I realized I need to do that when my shoe started to get wet... hence the review. I would NEVER go back to this place. read more
