Vitta Auto Glass took very good care of me. According to the company (Subaru) that makes my car,…read moremy car required OEM auto glass and a costly calibration in order to make the "eye sight " technology on the car work properly. It would have been over $1,000 after the glass repair and calibration, at the dealership. Vitta had a less expensive, aftermarket windshield and assured me it would work without calibration. They also guarenteed me that if the technology didn't work, they would switch the windshield out with to the OEM version. That assurance helped me a lot because I was doing research online, and most threads were saying to go the OEM route. Well, my car works perfectly and I ended up spending around $700 less than the dealership/OEM route. Everything was done at my house, which is an added plus as well.

After I moved to Alabama I found myself in need of a sliding back window replacement for my Toyota Tacoma. I figured what the heck, I'll try the locally owned small business here. BIG MISTAKE, they completely FUBAR'd the job and wouldn't stand behind their work. After a call to John it was determined that a cheap quality aftermarket window was used and would most likely need to be replaced with a new OEM window. John located a window and I brought the truck to him and he did a fantastic job . From now on I will be scheduling any Auto Glass repairs to coincide with our trips to Virginia. Yes folks, they are that good and reasonable that I will drive 650 miles to get it repaired before I'll let another company do it.

I had to take the initiative to ask what was taking so long, and they told me they ordered the wrong glass and needed to pick up a different one, making me wait another hour. Then, they message me that they broke this new glass, and I had to wait another half hour. On the way back home, I noticed that the rearview mirror was not reattached properly. So I called the store again and they told me to "move the mirror and fix it yourself". I go back to the store and it ends up having to be resecured with a missing screw that they forgot. When I asked the manager for a simple apology for the mistake of the shop, they told me "can't an old lady take a mistake?" Very disrespectful staff and extremely poor service. Would not recommend to anyone.
