The crack was taken care of with a factory OEM replacement, and honestly, I can't tell any difference at all--it looks perfect. What really stood out was the attention to detail. They put my service sticker back exactly where it was in the top left corner, and they even reinstalled my dash cam in the same position. If I didn't know the windshield had been replaced, I wouldn't have noticed at all. That level of care definitely doesn't go unnoticed. The staff was straightforward, professional, and answered every question I had without any hassle. They also finished the job within the timeframe they told me, which I really appreciated. The only downside--and the reason for 4.5 stars instead of 5--was the waiting area. It was a bit cold since there wasn't active heat during the winter, which made it a little uncomfortable while waiting. That said, it doesn't take away from the quality of the work or the service itself. Overall, great experience and top-notch workmanship. I'd definitely recommend Autoglass Alexandria to anyone needing windshield replacement done right.

Failed First Appointment: My first window was Thursday, 8 AM-1 PM. I took off work, but no one showed. They called at noon to reschedule and were dishonest about the reason for the delay. Broken Promises: I specifically explained I could not take more time off work. They assured me a 4 PM Monday slot was fine. The Monday Fiasco: On Monday, they called at 1 PM demanding I be home immediately or they would "have to reschedule" yet again. When I spoke to the technician, he admitted I was his last job and he was currently sitting idle with no other appointments. Unprofessional Management: The "shop manager" refused to give her name and was incredibly rude and interduces herself as the "The lady who runs the shop". She made it clear that her priority was not the customer's schedule, but ensuring her technician didn't get paid to wait for the actual appointment time she had already confirmed. This shop is run with a complete lack of integrity. If your insurance gives you a choice, go anywhere else. If they don't, be prepared for them to waste your time and treat you with zero respect.

This was, without question, one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had…read more I had my windshield replaced in February through Safelite via my insurance (Travelers). The installation seemed fine at first, but earlier this month my vehicle suddenly broke down and had to be towed. The shop found multiple electrical issues, repaired them, and then the same problem happened again a week later. After further inspection, the mechanic discovered water leaking through the windshield, which was soaking the vehicle's electrical system and causing all the failures. I was specifically asked if I had a recent windshield replacement--clearly pointing to the installation as the root cause. I contacted Safelite, and initially they acknowledged the warranty and scheduled a technician to inspect the vehicle at the dealership, since the car was not safe to drive. The very next day, I received a call from a representative, Mykala, stating they could not perform a leak inspection outside their shop. I explained multiple times that the car is undrivable and unsafe, and cannot be moved. She said she would speak with her supervisor. What happened next was completely unacceptable. The supervisor refused to help, raised her voice at me, dismissed the safety concern, and ultimately hung up on me. Shortly after, my warranty claim was denied and the appointment was canceled. Not only was the issue caused by improper installation, but I have now spent over $2,000 repairing electrical damage directly linked to water leaking through the windshield. At no point did they take accountability or even acknowledge the possibility of fault. Instead, I was treated with disrespect and disregard. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. After taking your money, this is how customers are treated--dismissed, disrespected, and left to deal with the consequences. I would strongly caution anyone considering their services.
