Excellent product delivery and execution! 10/10!! My windshield was replaced in less than 30 mins and thank you for that! read more

Kevin and Gene were so nice and quick/efficient with replacing my windshield. They said I could sit inside while they did the repair and they'd give me a call when it's done. I was worried about having to pay over $500 and using insurance, but thankfully it was lower than expected so I paid out of pocket. I paid $324(ish) to have my windshield replaced. They drove to my neighborhood and I just parked my car outside. I would HIGHLY recommend this business if you need any work done! read more

The front desk guy was rude and the waiting room is unpleasant. There was a 3% credit card surcharge fee that I was not told about. Never use them, and I will never use them again. read more

Highly recommend these guys. This is the second time I had a windshield replacement done on two BMW cars, and they have always been professional throughout the process. They work with your insurance to make the process as painless as possible. read more

Auto Glass service was excellent, very quick turnaround service. We were able to get an appointment the following day for our Audi. The the waiting room was clean and they offered soft drinks, coffee and tea while they replaced my windshield. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend this company. Also, the cost was excellent, especially since I was not using my insurance company. read more

Auto Glass Express - Alexandria did an awesome job replacing the front windshield on my 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The crack was taken care of with a factory OEM replacement, and honestly, I can't tell any difference at all--it looks perfect. What really stood out was the attention to detail. They put my service sticker back exactly where it was in the top left corner, and they even reinstalled my dash cam in the same position. If I didn't know the windshield had been replaced, I wouldn't have noticed at all. That level of care definitely doesn't go unnoticed. The staff was straightforward, professional, and answered every question I had without any hassle. They also finished the job within the timeframe they told me, which I really appreciated. The only downside--and the reason for 4.5 stars instead of 5--was the waiting area. It was a bit cold since there wasn't active heat during the winter, which made it a little uncomfortable while waiting. That said, it doesn't take away from the quality of the work or the service itself. Overall, great experience and top-notch workmanship. I'd definitely recommend Autoglass Alexandria to anyone needing windshield replacement done right. read more

Great price, fast service (same day!) and a great install. Top notch professionals.

I scheduled a mobile auto glass replacement for today Saturday April 11 2026. After waiting until almost eleven am, I tried calling again, and finally someone answered the phone. She told me the reason the other offices did not answer the phone is that they are closed on Saturday, additionally no one was coming because it is Saturday. I hung up after she offered to re-schedule me (re-schedule my appointment that was already past due) I hung up. This is an awful business with no redeeming qualities read more

Auto Glass Express came thru clutch for my car's sunroof repair! They came back with a great quote and quickly took care of my vehicle once I dropped it off for service. After several quotes, I decided to go with Auto Glass Express, because they have the most competitive rate, quick response, and fast turn around to fix my broken window. read more

I wanted to try this company since it has such high ratings. I called this business several times and no one answers. If this is a legitimate business someone should answer the phone. I don't trust companies that don't answer the phone. If you have my vehicle at your shop and I can't get in touch with you that's a problem for me. So I prefer not to work with businesses that don't answer their phones. read more

Customer service was excellent. I was told by a dealership that my back window regulator needed to be replaced. I took my vehicle to Auto Glass Express in Alexandria, VA for a second opinion. Only to find out that the window switch just needed to be cleaned out, and I did not need a window regulator at this time. That type of honesty is very rare with Auto repair places. So it was very refreshing to know there are still places like Auto Glass Express that still display honesty. I highly recommend this shop for your Glass needs. read more

I had a stone strike on my windshield and this place quoted me the cheapest price of $49 to fill the chip. I had a small chip and a small crack. My previous experience with this sort of service, but at safelite, was that the chip and crack pretty much disappeared. This one looks exactly the same, and with it being right in the center of my windshield, I see it every time I'm in the car. When you pay, you sign a document that you accept that there may be a visible imperfection still on your glass. In my case, you can feel where they filled the chip, but visually it doesn't look like it has been worked on. It was very cheap, but I would have paid more elsewhere to have the blemish mostly disappear. read more

Excellent service! Would definitely recommend to anybody with glass needs in the DMV.

Edited review: Yelp referred me to this business to replace my damaged sun roof. I included pics of the damage in the initial entry in Yelp. Although we corresponded via the app, Mr Luigi never provided a quote. Also, my insurance company had never heard of them. So I selected another business that had excellent customer service and was very communicative. read more

Had to replace my Honda Ridgeline windscreen in the spring of 23. They were able to find me a good quality AFT replacement glass. Have been driving with the replacement glass for a year now (thru summer & winter - heat, cold, rain & shine). Thank you Auto Glass Express! read more

Wonderful service! I got a near-instant quote from Yelp with lower price for a passenger window replacement than I was quoted from a handful of other competitors in the DMV area. They were able to do the replacement immediately and were done in under an hour. They even cleaned up the glass from the broken window in the seats. Totally professional and kind the whole way through. They even had coffee in the waiting room. I hope that I don't need a window replacement anytime soon, but if I do, I will most definitely return here. read more

Had a great experience today. I got a quote (great price) and set up an appointment all via text. Got to my appointment and with expertise and professional (no change to the quote or up sale) the staff at Auto Glass Express exceeded my expectations. Thank you for taking such care of me. read more

I had to replace my windshield last year. I used Yelp to send out requests for quotes and chose Auto Glads Express. They were quick and reliable. Unfortunately, there was a manufacturing issue with the third party windshield that was installed. I had agreed to that install. Without any pushback, Auto glass heard my concerns and replaced the windshield. One year later and there are zero issues with my windshield. read more

After a car break-in smashed two side windows, we had to replace them quickly before a road trip. I called a heavily-advertised competitor, then Auto Glass, and I'm glad I made that second call. Auto Glass Express's quote was about two-thirds that of the other place, and it was very easy to make a same-day appointment in Alexandria. They have most parts in stock and are equipped to do the work within hours. The waiting room was small and overheated, though comfortable with a TV, but it's a short walk to a local strip mall with several eateries. The work was done in four hours (a bit longer than expected) and has held up perfectly for six weeks (I waited to write the review until I figured any problems would surface). I highly recommend these guys. In fact, I've already sent some business their way. read more

I had my car broken into and don't have a private garage, so you can imagine how desperate I was to have this issue rectified. "handy dandy" Safelite couldn't fit me into their busy schedule for a month and a half at any location. I was recommended by a friend to check Auto Glass Express, and I am so happy that I found it! This shop is amazing! Jimmy and the team helped me so much. I requested an appointment for a broken window and was seen the next day! This is important to note because my window is not in stock at a lot of places. Jimmy called around and found it in Baltimore, then had it expedited to his shop! The team is quick, efficient and clean. There was even a puppy in the waiting area to help ease my anxiety lol (she's not a part of the daily staff so you probably won't meet her). I pray I never have to deal with broken glass on my vehicle again, but if I do I'll come here immediately. Highly recommend this shop. read more

Car window smashed in DC, thief making off 2,000 worth of my tuff. Geico wanted me to pay 500 deductible. One major glass company said 600-800. Called these guys, 200 done in 90 minutes. The service (responsiveness, communication)was good until the actual windshield needed to be installed. They do not have experience installing 100 series Landcruiser windshields. Install seemed good until the next rain shower. There were leaks at the A frame pillar. And leaks at the top seal. Took the truck to another specialist in Landcruisers. He found rivets that were just pulling out of the frame by hand and mouldings not secured at all. Auto glass express did have the install under warranty. But I'm not going back. To be fair, Landcruiser windshield install is a bit different than other vehicles, but I left them the manual so they could check to make sure it was done right. But it still wasn't done right. Therefore 2 stars. They are probably well versed on other vehicles. read more

I started a claim with my insurance company mid morning. By 4 o'clock Autoglass Express had scheduled and installed my new windshield at my home. I can't say enough good about the company. The man who did the install was very professional and efficient. Marlo Mejia was our installer, highly recommended! The whole process was about as smooth as could be. Try them. read more

I took my mercury mariner to this shop because the front windshield glass was pitted due to wear and tear and also because the cowl was damaged. I requested them to replace both the front windshield glass and the cowl. after spending couple of hours waiting them to finish, They brought it outside the shop and said everything is complete. I took my car and returned back to my home. I opened the Hood and looked through the holes of the cowl and found that they did not clean it from leaves or any other trash. Also, most of the screws were loosen. I called them and returned back after 2 weeks and requested them to remove the cowl and to clean and replace the loosen screws. - I recently found that the same old scratches and pitting in the glass started to show up again. This means to me that they cheated and did not replace the glass but only used a temporary material which does not last long. NOT RECOMMENDING THIS SHOP TO ANY ONE. If there is something less than one star, I will not be hesitant to give it to this shop. read more

Backed into a half open garage door and blew out my rear window. Auto Glass Express was able to give me a quick appointment and change out the glass within an hour. They spent great time taking the rear door apart and vacuuming out the car to make sure there was no broken glass anywhere. All in all an EXCELLENT service for less than the "leading brand". The "leading brand" couldn't do the work for a week and wanted more. A+ service. I can't wait to break another window. read more

I corresponded with them via Yelp and told them I would come on Saturday for my windshield chip repair. They confirmed they would be there. I drove all the way down there and no one was there. Their sign said, "Come on in were OPEN," and their hours on the door confirmed they were open on Saturdays until 5PM. I was there at 3PM. I texted them, and called their number four times. No response. read more

When I first called, I needed my windshield replaced ASAP for my state inspection. The lady who I spoke too was very sweet & professional. I loved her enthusiasm and eager to get me in right away. Her quote was very accurate with no hidden fees. She also recommended new windshield wipers. I am so sorry I forgot her name. I work in CS and I am generally good with names. She called us when it was ready, and they have a wonderful waiting area if u choose to wait. Very nice and clean with a flat screen and free wi fi. If I ever needed replaced another windshield, or any glass in our vehicles in the future, I would highly recommend them. Sammy M.. read more

They did a water leak test and determined that it was not my windshield leaking and recommended an excellent place that did repairs on convertible tops, since I might need new gaskets. I called in to the Alexandria location today after being instructed to by someone operating under the "Santos" handle on FB. The guy who picks up the phone tells me that I was speaking to him and "Santos" is just the handle. I simply ask a question regarding the pricing and the guy goes haywire, yelling over me telling me that they've been in business for years and to "just look at all our great reviews". Terrible demeaning tone. Folks who talk like that really believe they're indispensable. If their work is that good and they're such an asset to the business, these I-believe-I-know-it-all type should be kept in the garage without any customer contact. Far away from people. Definitely not worth the disrespect. Go elsewhere. read more
