Came here today and left surprised and very impressed by the speed and quality of the service. I had a bit of an unusual request in that my car had deteriorating windshield and rear glass seals. The glass itself was intact, but the seals were going. My request was to remove the glass, strip out the old seals, and reseal the original glass back onto the car. This is a very challenging job as there is a high probability of the glass breaking when the seal is cut and the glass is lifted from the car. From my research, very few shops will even attempt to reuse old glass. I was told it was probably less than a 50% chance that the windshield would make it. Knowing that risk I asked them to go for it and returned to find the car looking better than new! Resealed with the original factory glass. Honestly, if I hadn't paid for the job myself, I wouldn't be able to tell that it had been replaced. I also appreciated that they cleaned up all of the debris from their job. I couldn't be more impressed with their work. I recommend these guys if you have a car that's important to you, high value, or complicated. They will get it done and will do it at reasonable cost. read more

Avoid at all costs!!! Agreed to pay $500 based on the promise the windshield would not need recalibration (said they've done it a thousand times) and guess what? Lane assist doesn't work anymore!! I had left town so he said to come back when in town, explained to him that I travel for business and that it could take a month or two (sent him the picture of the inactive lane assist message a day after I left his shop). On top of that, there was a small dent above the windshield on the body! I didn't care about the small dent, but now I don't have lane assist and they don't want to help! Liers! I wish I went with another company! One employee even admitted they fired the guy who worked on my van. I will file a complaint with regulators and dispute the charge as this is a rip off. Terrible service. Ali is nice until you pay them, then he changes. If anything goes wrong during installation, they won't take responsibility. No ethics! Came back to town 45 days later and went to see him as we agreed. Initially he said to come back tomorrow morning so that a tech could take a look but then he said if it needs recalibration that I would pay half of it! I agreed on $500 because they said recalibration would not be required, they never told me it might. Then when I showed him the damage, he got angry for some reason and said not to come back and he that he doesn't wanna do anything. He also tried to say that it was fine when I left. Now I could get into an accident because of them! Van is not safe without lane assist. This was not the agreement. I have everything documented and audio recordings. Thanks to construction on 395, my wife's windshield stopped a rock from causing havoc to other vehicles. Our insurance company provided a few options to replace the windshield and based on reviews, she selected Best Auto Glass. She mentioned that they were quick, polite, and professional. So when my truck's windshield met a similar fate, I called Best Auto Glass where Ali provided a great quote and an appointment to fit my schedule. On the day of the appointment, I arrived, but a walk-in delayed my appointment. The staff apologized profusely and at the end of the installation, I was only delayed 30 minutes. It only took them about 45 minutes to fix everything. When I picked up my car, my battery had died and the car wouldn't start but all of the staff helped collectively to fix it! Called ahead and told them I was coming in for a quote for a very small crack on my windshield. Very friendly on the phone. However, came in and the guy just took my car to the back of the shop without giving me a quote or letting me know he was repairing it! 40min later, he comes out and said it was done. So, he repaired it without my authorization?! Good thing it didn't turn out to be out of my range but still shocked that they did things without giving me a quote and asking me first. Horrible customer service and worst management I've ever encountered. Don't be fooled by what they tell you on the phone. They will say and seem like they care until there is an issue with the repair. Also, Ali doesn't understand the concept of insurance so steer clear and work with someone who does. The technicians and other staff are decent and knowledgable but for insurance claims and reoccurred damages, etc. do not expect any professionalism from the management. Good thing they have a lifetime warranty since the glue that keeps the rearview mirror on wore off and my mirror fell down. When I asked about repairing some other things that reoccurred from the same initial claim, Ali lost it and told me to leave. He only cares for first time repairs (easy replacements for a quick buck) and will give every excuse on the earth to not seem like it's their fault. Note: they repaired the windshield fine the first time but make sure to check the borders and frame for any dents, cuts, and nicks to the paint. Also make sure to ask how long the glue attaching the mirror will hold since mine wore off before the 1-year mark. They think as long as there is no leak then it's fine. They don't care about the condition they leave your car in. Only replacing the windshield so it holds for enough time for them to collect money from insurance or directly from you. read more

I had a huge crack across my windshield and needed it fixed ASAP. This was the second place I called and not only were they available on a holiday, they could fix it right away for $70 less than the first place (and not just because of the holiday). They started working on it as soon as I pulled up (granted it was slow because of the holiday), and had it done within 45 minutes. The gentleman who runs the place was very nice on the phone, and just as nice in person. I've read the other reviews, and I may have had better luck than some other folks. There's a lifetime guarantee, so if there was an immediate issue with the installation/condition, I would call them right away knowing I could get it fixed for free. It's a couple hours later, and the outside and inside of my car around the windshield are very clean. Had the best price by far. Was quoted online for front windshield replacement on Honda van at $199. Within 5 mins I got a call saying they would do it for $20 less. Great price. Got to my appoint 10 mins early and they took it immediately and got it done in less than 45 mins. My only gripe is that the top two corners are a little messy and not tight. Before I was an actual yelp member, I would always try to check a businesses reviews on either yelp or Google. Though I was a bit skeptical about changing my windshield here because of the couple not so great reviews, I took my chances considering the fact that I was given a reasonable price compared to other places, their kind and attentive customer service, and because it's not too far away from my home. I have to say, my experience was a good one! I came in, filled out an information sheet, and a technician came and took my car. Perhaps it was the back of the building as the front was only parking lots. Anyways... I was told to give myself an hour for the job. I left in about 45 minutes. It was quicker then expected and wondered why they finished quickly. I was a bit worried they rushed it.. But no! Everything was excellent--! I was told to take off the Orange tape after 24 hours... Got my 2018 Acura fixed last week. Price seemed like a steal & they requested my VIN so it seemed just as good as where dealer recommended. After leaving none of my safety features were functioning and was told to come back. I hope you never have to replace the back window of your Ford F-150! Ford makes the vendor buy all 3 panes even if only one is broken, which was my situation. Every single vendor I called made the same remark as soon as I told them what I needed, "oh man, that's gonna be expensive!" Ughhhh. I'm giving Best Auto Glass 3 stars because of a couple of things. I was quoted one price by Roya and gave a half deposit over the phone. Then I got a call back and was told the cost would be $150 more. WTF! She claimed to not know it was power to the glass. I understand people make mistakes, but that's a lot of money to be quoting the wrong amount!! I was told the work would take 3-4 hours. It took 3 and I was updated by a nice gentleman (the owner maybe) on a somewhat regular basis so I didn't have to guess about the status of my truck. I was happy about that. My glass looks great, but my back seats were left up with my gym bag sprawled on the floor and on the passenger back seat floor, the cap wasn't put back correctly and I had to snap it in. Also, you can see wispy pieces of the rubber hanging that could've been cleaned up. All in all, I'm satisfied with the end result, but just those things could make a customer pretty frustrated that they should review to improve the customer experience. read more

I don't get why there's negative reviews on here. This is by far the best auto glass shop I've been too. I used to go a couple different auto shops and I regret not coming here to begin with. First of all, their customer service is amazing! The owner of the shop is always so polite and he's always willing to go above and beyond for his customers. The other auto shops I used to go to didn't really care about customer service and only wanted my business. But I never felt rushed at Best auto glass, I feel like they truly care about their customers. Customer service on its own is 5 stars! Second, their pricing is better than any other auto shop I've been too. You can get a quote online or you can call. Compared to the pricing at Best Auto Glass, it makes me feel like I was scammed at other places. I called other shops to see how much it would cost to repair a big crack on my window and compared to the rest, Best Auto glass had the fairest price. Lastly, they all work quickly and efficiently! I don't know why people are complaining that they say it'll take an hour but they finish in 45 minutes. 15 minutes isn't much of a difference and certainly does not mean that the process was rushed or the outcome would be any less than if it were to take a full hour. Personally, I think it's more annoying to have wait longer than the estimated time. They replaced my windshield in about 45 minutes and the windshield was very sleek and new and lasted me forever! If they don't have your specific item in stock, they will (a.) order your parts or (b) suggest that you order your parts & they will do the labor. I called Best Auto Glass this morning (4/20/2021) and asked whether they could fix a leak on the top of my windshield, and that the windshield had been replaced by them in 2014. The owner told me that they would honor their warranty, but would have to inspect the body around the windshield to make sure there wasn't any rust. He spent a lot of time with me on the phone explaining that sometimes these leaks happen when the metal rusts with age and humidity. He fit me in his schedule today. When I arrived I showed him my original receipt from 2014, and he meticulously inspected the car and told me they would fix the leak at no cost. This gentleman was very knowledgeable about his craft, very professional and attentive. I'm very impressed that after 7 years, and after moving locations, they still honored their warranty without the usual hassle you've come to expect from other auto shops. I called around and got 5 or 6 quotes from local vendors. Best Auto Glass gave me a great price with the reviews to squash any concerns with "lowest bidder" hesitations. When I arrived for my appointment, they took my vehicle straight back and were very pleasant. When they finished, the final price was different than what the online quote had been by about $12, and she (I have forgotten her name, but the owner's daughter I believe) made no hesitation to correct it when I showed her the email, even apologizing and insisting on taking care of it despite having to do a refund on my credit card. Additionally, Al, the technician came to talk to me when he was finished and asked if the windshield had leaked with a previous install (which it had in 2012 with a different local vendor) . He went on to tell me that he found pretty bad rust along the top of the glass and had sanded it all down, put a rust coat on it, etc - and had basically taken care of it for me so that it would not continue, showing me where he had even touched up the paint from rock flecks near the glass, making recommendations of how I can stop that rust in other little spots. They did not charge me for this at all. They are very proud of their family business/service and stand behind their work, even correcting other's shoddy work. I waited to write this review until after a few rainstorms to ensure there was no leakage - not a drop, even after sanding rust, etc. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area. read more

When my car window was busted, I called around to a bunch of places for rates to get the window replaced. Everywhere I called charged at least $150 to get the small back vent window repaired, until I called Best Auto Glass. They run a promo where if you go to their shop (vs. having a technician come to you), they'll replace the window for $99, if they have the glass in stock. It's a bit of a drive from DC, but only took about 30 minutes from NW. I showed up, they took my car, and gave it back to me 15 minutes later with a sparkly new window, for more than $50 cheaper than the best offer I had gotten. Definitely recommend! read more

They say free mobile service but what they mean is they'll come to you for free or give you a discount on the "free" price if you come to them. They were willing to knock $40 off the price of $140 for me to drive from my home in DC to theirs in Lorton. The quality of service seems fine. I was in and out in about 40 minutes which is fine except the woman at the call center promised it wouldn't take longer than 15 minutes. When I noticed a crack in my windshield I called around to several places for estimates. Best was the cheapest if I decided to drive to their shop in Lorton. The office people were super nice and they finished it in 40 minutes, as promised and I was amazed. They took the inspection sticker, the tax sticker and 3 small parking stickers off and put them on the new windshield so well I thought for a second they repaired my old one (the crack was too big for that). I still do not know how they did that. As I was driving away I went over a speed bump and saw my hood jump up. It caught the safety latch so no big deal I opened it and closed it all the way. You have to close different vehicles hoods with varying amounts of force so I can't really blame them. When I got home and took a closer look I noticed that there were globs of black adhesive/sealant on the paint around the windshield. I grabbed some paper towels and Simple Green and it came off with some elbow grease.My truck is black so it wasn't easy to see but there was loads of it so it wasn't hard to see either. Then I got in on the passenger side to clean some more sealant off the glass itself and noticed more on the light gray grab handles inside the cab...grr. this was easy to see and came off with some more SG and some vigorous scrubbing. It took me a good half an hour to clean up the mess they made. So far so good, it hasn't leaked but it was obviously a rushed job and showed a shocking lack of attention to detail. They saved me 30 bucks or so but I will not go back or recommend this shop to friends. read more

Needed a front windshield replacement because of a rock hitting the windshield when driving down the interstate. I had the service done back in October and wanted to wait to write a review because some had mention the glue coming off. I had checked with other windshield repairs including Safelite and the price they quoted was hundreds of dollars more than what Best Auto Glass quoted us for. The people are friendly and the car was done in less than two hours. The only issue we had was part of the frame that holds the windshield was not pushed down all the way when we got our car but they were quick to fix the problem. read more

I had never replaced a windshield before so I was a little skeptical about the process after reading reviews about quote scams and scratched paint. I took all the necessary steps to protect my Jeep...copy of the email detailing the price quote, pics of my paint/dash, removed everything from the console...i was ready for battle. I arrived 10min early, the receptionist was extremely nice and had me fill out one simple form and in 5 min they were taking my car in the back to get started. I was prepared for the cheapest no frills windshield, but she said due to Jeepers requests they now carry both factory mopar windshields as well as an off brand that still has all the logos! You mean I can keep my cute Jeep grill AND rock crawlers on the side?!?! She was smiling at my excitement...bc let's be real, I was super bummed about losing my cutesy details. I immediately was skeptical again bc how much would this cost? She said she'd work out a deal for me....what about 50 extra bucks? Um.....YES. So before they started a man came to the counter (I'm assuming the owner) bc he wanted to go over in detail the difference between a factory mopar and the knock off brand. It wasn't a sales pitch...just wanted to over clarify exactly what I was buying so there was no confusion. I think this shows exceptional customer service and I really appreciated him taking the time to give me all the information. A few minutes later he came back again and asked whether or not I wanted a tint strip across the top at no charge...sure! All in all, the process took a little under and hour. I inspected the paint all around my windshield...not even a scuff and the interior was exactly how I left it. Now, I can't say anything about leaks or installment issues since it's only been a few hours, but the receptionist did tell me it comes w a lifetime warranty for anything that could arise.
